True Beadz Christmas 2017 Inspiration

This True Beadz blog brings some super simple True Beadz Christmas 2017 inspiration starring the new True Beadz True Bridge and 2017 silver designs.

For those of you counting down the days to Christmas, it’s nearly here! For those of you less enthusiastic, this time next week it’s over for another year. Regardless of which category you fall into, today we’re talking simple festive bangles.

I love looking at pictures of Christmas bracelets on social media and over the years I’ve made some crazy combinations myself. Alas I’ve always found most of them terribly uncomfortable to wear. Many collectors are also reluctant to invest enormously in festive beads that they’re only going to wear for a few weeks of the year. Still there are always classic colour combinations that scream of certain holidays.

The last True Beadz release of the year was in November and featured the True Olive, Desert, the 2017 silver and the True Beadz True Bridge. Today I’m sharing two very simple bangles that were created by using the new silver beads and some core collection beads. These are glass available all year round and that offer more versatility than overly festive designs.

True Beadz Christmas 2017

I’ve used the Trollbeads Gold Plated Bangles as the basis for two of these combinations. Trollbeads bangles are my daily go tos (alongside the rose bangle from Great Lakes Boutique.) I’ve not found any that suit my wrist as well. Remember too that the gold plated bangles are tumbling in price in the new year, at least for the US market.

The third bangle is the new Trollbeads Star Bangle from the autumn 2017 collection. It has a lot of texture and the resulting oxidisation makes for quite a dark looking carrier.

The two gold bangles are using the True Beadz 2017 silver as a focal piece. It’s a heavy, chunky piece of silver and so comfortable to wear thanks to it’s shape. For fans of the brands it’s quite the must have due to the prominently displayed logo. The silver bangle has one of my favourite glass; the True Beadz True Potion. This design varies a lot in regards to the ombre colouring. Some appear nearly all one shade while others are very distinctly two toned. Also featuring is the True Beadz True Blossom Strawberry. This was part of the summer collection from 2016 but the colour is absolutely perfect for festive bracelets. The red does actually vary depending on the design. I’ve found the True Air Strawberry to be a little paler but the Blossom is very vibrant. Nestled between the glass is the True Bridge. I’m actually coveting a second of these as I think they’d be better used as end caps than in this way.

True Beadz Summary

I’ll be revisiting the True Bridge in the not too distant future on a totally different bracelet as it’s such a useful silver. It’s not super skinny so it doesn’t vanish into it’s neighbouring beads like many spacers do. Equally it is still slender enough to frame a focal glass if you so choose. It also uses the same brickwork texturing as the 2017 bead, making them such a great complement to each other.

As always I love to hear from my readers. Did you invest in either the True Beadz 2017 or True Bridge designs? If so how have you been wearing them? Hit the comments and let me know!

Great combinations – it all comes together so well as a stack. They did such a good job on those silvers. And they work so well on the bangles!!! You definitely need another of the Bridge. I love it on the ends so you get to see the fabulous detailing on the side. 🙂
