Trollbeads Weaver Girl Preview & Clarification

This Trollbeads blog brings a preview and clarification of the limited edition Trollbeads Weaver Girl.

Yesterday images began to circulate on Instagram of a limited edition Trollbeads Weaver Girl glass bead. Some of those images show numbered certificates indicating a total run of 860 beads (very very few for Trollbeads!)

Almost immediately rumours began of an upcoming limited edition collection.

Trollbeads Weaver Girl

The Trollbeads Weaver Girl is exclusive to the South Korean market, hence the very small production run by Trollbeads standards. It seems to be the latest country exclusive, much like the Trollbeads Lilac Diamond for Italy, Trollbeads Purple Diamond for Japan and Trollbeads Lavender Diamond for Germany.

This is a terrible image unfortunately and the flowers are actually a lavender shade but you can see the accompanying certificate of authenticity.

Trollbeads Weaver Girl Summary

This is a pretty bead particularly for the high summer season where the bold colours feel apt. For those not in South Korea fear not as the design isn’t uncommon in uniques and while you may not find the precise colours, there’s still a plethora of unique flowers out there.

As always I love to hear from my readers. What are your thoughts on the Trollbeads Weaver Girl? Hit the comments and let me know!

  1. Faye S.

Is there a significance to “Weaver Girl” in Korea?

    • endangeredtrolls

The only thing I have is the official description which is printed on the card 🙂

  2. Lori

I saw one of these on Instagram and didn’t understand that it was a limited edition bead, now I know! It is very pretty. I don’t have any of the recent country exclusives and probably won’t, but that is ok. Now I’m waiting for a Canada exclusive 😄

    • endangeredtrolls

Apparently a lot of people didn’t and there was some misunderstanding that it’s exclusive to Korea as retailers had been receiving calls and emails.

It IS very pretty but there are also lots of beautiful floral uniques out there so hopefully no one is going to be too sad that Korea get their own bead 🙂

    • MaLa SaHan

I feel like you, Lori. It would be wonderful to have an exclusive Canadian Bead.

    • Lola

I’d be happy just being able to buy any unique Trollbeads in Canada online. We have so few online retailers, and of the few we have, they can’t get the beads out within a month, if at all. Buying from the US used to be the way to go, two week delivery, but now it’s taking over two months to get deliveries, and one of my orders has disappeared completely. It’s very Troll-unfriendly here in Canada.

Try Beaden – located in Edmonton, AB at West Edmonton Mall. Lawrence has a bazillion uniques & will send you photos & ship all over Canada. They are on Facebook too but it’s better to call the store.

  3. marijke

I love it! But then I love all reds:-)

    • endangeredtrolls

It’s definitely a very deep pink or red but the flowers are more lavender than this image suggests. It’s pretty 🙂

  4. Beckie

Lovely that another exclusive bead is being made, however it’s not exactly a new or ‘limited’ design considering this colour way has been commonly seen among uniques that retailers can’t shift.
Though perhaps that’s the new marketing strategy lol…. take a bunch of old uniques, add a certificate and hey presto we have created frenzy 🤪😂

    • Maryrose

When you see the actual bead it’s not like the red flower uniques, it really is the beautiful Korean silk red and it has a glow about it. 😍😍😍 I need a millionaire or two to take pity on me and my trollbeads addiction. X

  5. Maria

    Ohhhhhhhh, another one I can’t have …….lol

Have fun with it lucky ladies in Korea 😋

  6. Katie

Lovely bead. Shame I don’t know anyone in S. Korea. Still not a fan of country exclusives. Although, my ‘wish’ dream bead is a lovely purple diamond bead. One that is not country specific or limited in numbers. I don’t care if everyone on my street had two or three – just that I’d be able to have one….

    • endangeredtrolls

You can always search and try and contact the stores directly 🙂 Same for the other exclusives. Retailers are generally happy to help where they can 🙂

  7. kathrynwitte

The red is unusual in Trollbeads but the design is ho-hum. I’ve had a pair of blues just like this for sale for YEARS and nada! If it were widely available I’d buy one for my patriotic bracelet but then I’d want a Red Diamond bead too- even more than I do now!

    • endangeredtrolls

I’ve never been a huge fan of the floral uniques I must admit. Designs like Mamma Mia, Roses for Mom and the like I really like and there have been some new flowers in the unique kits recently but these simpler versions aren’t really my thing.

  8. Jamie

I really like the idea of having an authentication card with a number. I’m sure it’s more tedious but it gives a more exclusive feel. I like that. In a way I wish they would have done this for event exclusive beads. But could they have kept up with it😏

I’m curious what country exclusives we’ll see next?! Maybe the US 😅

  9. Sue Lloyd

It’s available in Hong Kong, Malaysia and I think other Asian countries

  10. Corrie

Not in Japan….was there recently…..did have two more limited purple diamonds though…

  11. caroline

Hi All, I scored one “WEAVER GIRL” on EBay. After I searched all over Korea and Hong Kong! Go figure!

  12. Caroline

    Hi Lola,
Don’t know where you live but there’s Tricia’s Gems in Surrey, B.C. She’s even had Scott Bouens doing a couple of bead making events. Had me a beauty made!

    Hi Victoria,

Do you know the price of the bead?

  14. Jennifer

Why is the USA always left out of the best limited release beads?????

    • Sue Lloyd

USA gets far more beads available than the UK and Europe, you get all the new uniques we are lucky if we get a few kits over here. Exclusive event beads also which UK never gets you have more stores stocking Trollbeads 😢
We only got a few kits of the sea creatures over here none of the other ones USA have had recently. I would love some of the tulip uniques

      • Jennifer

Really? I did not know this. Yes, there are tons of uniques to choose from here, both online and in the few and far between TB stores. Still, I would have loved to get my hands on one of those lilac diamond beads, without paying the high prices I’ve seen. As for the tulip beads, the competition is high for them. I haven’t been to my TB store in a while, it’s over an hour drive, but when I see them in the online stores, they are always already sold. In fact, most of the coveted uniques are already sold by the time I see them. Makes me think, there are some hard core serious collectors out there, getting Facebook alerts every time a store posts new beads, and they jump right on it and buy up everything!

        • endangeredtrolls

We have Tulip uniques by the way 😛

        • Sue Lloyd

All the stores near me are about an hour away but most don’t have up to date stock which is very disappointing. I was lucky a friend managed to get me the Japanese diamond bead and have also got help with the German and Italian ones all at rrp, although with exchange rate the Japanese one was expensive. I prefer the colour of the Italian one which is more blue.

  15. Maryrose

I took a risk on eBay uk and bought one. It arrived in exactly one week despite their warning that’s delivery time could be up to 4 weeks and it’s breathtaking. The base glass is a gorgeous glowing red more on the pink spectrum than pillar box and the flowers float just under the surface in shades of pale lilac, like they have been painted on silk.its Going to be impossible to photograph and it’s prettier than most of the flower beads . I’m utterly stunned I wasn’t expecting it to be so lovely. I’m just staring at it currently 😂😂 so if you get the chance go for it. 😍
