From the stock image I felt very neutral about this bead. I didn’t dislike it but nor did it feel a must have for me. It’s actually a much nicer bead in person and is pictured below nestled between the two new Flowers of Elegance. Whether you celebrate Valentine’s Day or not, it’s a nice spring themed bead and it sits well on a bracelet or bangle without rotating.

Trollbeads Valentine’s Day 2019 Summary

My best advice if you’re undecided about this bead would be to try and see it in person, though I appreciate how difficult that is for many. I think from the stock image I perhaps found the bead a little vague and wasn’t entirely sure it would be easily identified as birds. In person that’s absolutely not the case and it’s just a very sweet bead whether you use it for Valentine’s or the spring season in general.

For the USA market there is now the Trollbeads Valentine’s Day 2019 Promotion with spends of $150 or more qualifying for the free Stackable Jewellery Case in burgundy.

As always I love to hear from my readers. What are your thoughts on the Trollbeads Lovebirds? Hit the comments and let me know!

I have trouble with the head area…hard to make out if the heads have faces and they seem squashed down. I will definitely need to see this one in person.

  2. Corrie

The head remains an issue, because of a heart shaped figure benieth the head on both heads. It’s not that detailled bead.

  3. Sharon

Like the Father’s Day bead, there doesn’t seem to be enough thought and care put into these. Just my humble opinion. I’ll take last year’s Shield over the lightening bolt, any old day, and this Lovebirds bead probably won’t be part of my collection either.

I like the bead! I did get one.
Number one, major kudos for it being properly weighted so that it doesn’t flip upside down.
Two, the blocky abstract style from Rimpler makes the birds more generic , they can easily be read as hawks or other birds, not just as cutesy love birds.
