Trollbeads Summer 2019 Preview

This Trollbeads blog brings a preview of the upcoming Trollbeads Summer 2019 collection.

It’s such an exciting day today as we’re finally seeing the preview of the Trollbeads Summer 2019 collection. New releases are always fun but this one is especially exciting in my opinion.

The actual release date is May the 24th so there’s around one month to wait and for my fellow gemstone fans, it’s going to feel a painfully long few weeks.

Trollbeads Summer 2019

We’re seeing a new style of gemstone! Smooth cut, small spherical stones are joining the Trollbeads collection and I am ridiculously excited about this. They bring a very neat, quite contemporary feel to a bracelet and I think the look they’ll give will be dramatically different to the traditional Trollbeads stones.

The new styles are the Trollbeads Round Lapis, Trollbeads Round Laboradrite, Trollbeads Round White Moonstone, Trollbeads Round Malachite and the Trollbeads Round Aventurine. They will retail at $45 each.

While the gemstones are the absolute highlight of the release, there are two decorative silver pieces debuting too. The first is the new Trollbeads Conch Pendant. It’s retail price will be $55.

The second piece is designed to work perfectly with the new gemstones. The Trollbeads Framed by Sea is a little like the Phoenix in that it wraps around a neighbour bead. I absolutely love the styled bangle below. It’s set to retail at $45.

Trollbeads Summer 2019 Summary

I mention so often that I adore spherical silver beads because of both their versatility and the cohesiveness they bring to a bracelet. As a bangle wearer I find them so much more comfortable than eclectically shaped beads too. To see Trollbeads launch a range of smaller, spherical gemstones is perfection for me and I only hope that eventually we see more stones added to the line. (I also sorely wish they had debuted in time for Bead Bash on the Lake!)

In terms of their sizing they are meant to be close to the size of the Trollbeads pearls.

As always I love to hear from my readers. What are your thoughts on the Trollbeads Summer 2019 collection? Hit the comments and let me know!

Well, I’ve always wished my Pandora Essence beads would fit my Troll carriers!! 😀

  2. Jane

I really love the new style stone beads, even better if they are Pearl sized as I use my pearls often on bangles. My wish list keeps getting longer. I like both silver beads, favourite is framed by sea as it is so versatile.

They are apparently pearl sized but of course I’ve not seen them in person yet. I can’t wait 😀

  3. Janet

None to my liking. I don’t care for the shape bead and am not a favor of seashore style silvers. Maybe this is a good thing, financially. 😂

  4. Tanya

Really like this. I’ve been a bit bored with my collection and wearing lots of larger beads feels sort of matronly, especially in the summer. This is a fresh, modern facelift and I’m so glad Trollbeads is trying something new.

  5. Jamie

Hmmm, how do I feel🤔.. I enjoy seeing a new style but at first all I see is pandora. I like the price point, I like the new simple feel but do I love it? I will have to sit on this one. I do like the silver, very detailed and interactive. I can definitely see these being a favorite. I feel overall this collection will be a great hit.
With the stones I think seeing more examples of use will persuade me. And here I’m looking at starting a serious collection of stones 😅 Let’s see if these slip their way onto my bracelet. Very interested in the laboratories. But will they make more stones is the question!

  6. Enf

    I love the silvers!

  7. Lisa G

I also was reminded of pandora essence the moment I saw these. Having bought a lot of the more classic essence (i.e. real stones), I don’t know if I need these. Of course, seeing them in person may change my mind…

      And the labradorite is stunning…

  8. Linda

Love them all and I have the lock on my “must have” list!

  9. Linda

Oops! It’s a pendant, not a lock, but I still want it!

  10. Janelle

I am loving the new gemstones. The smaller sillouette is exactly what I like. I am really excited to see them in person. The shell pendant is stunning.

  11. Sophia kecala

Hi Victoria, Great Review!! Do you know if Trollbeads will be releasing new fish glass beads also?

  12. Debora

I like the Framed by Sea, but I’m wondering if it only fits nicely around these round gems? I know since you haven’t had a chance to acquire these you may not know. However, I have numerous of the regular thin, smooth gemstones, as well as some of the fatter faceted gemstones, and I don’t think it looks like they will fit in to Framed by Sea, from the looks of how it’s hugging the round stones. Just a thought.

  13. Joyce

Love the silvers and appreciate the detail in each piece. The gemstones are too Pandora-like for me.

  14. MaLa SaHan

absolutely perfect gemstone beads – love their totally round shape, and the new silver beads are great, the conch pendant would also be great as a lock – Trollbeads, are you listening?!
I love the new Framed by Sea, I have the Phoenix on my Dragonwoods bracelet, and the way it wraps around two beads, so this new one will be great, too.
