Trollbeads Summer 2019

There’s been so much debate about these new stones but I adore them. They create a really clean and contemporary look and I’m crossing my fingers and toes that they continue to launch more of their stones in this cut. I’m a huge gemstone collector and given the choice, I now know I would absolutely choose this new style. For those of you who like to stack bangles, these are such a dream.

Gemstone beads are my favorite, and I enjoy mixing different shapes of them together for added interest. Until now, the only way to really get that extra interest was to work with multiple brands or to have collected some of the older smooth Troll stones, either way NOT a bad option. Now Trollbeads loyalist can stay within the brand. For those of us who are brand mixers, we have a new stone shape to stack with. Like you, I hope that Troll extends this shape to more of their stones for even more bead stack options!

I’m desperately hoping they continue the shape. I love the way these look on my wrist. I knew I’d like them. I didn’t quite expect to like them this much. I’ve always liked the smaller silver pieces too though so I suppose it makes sense.

Here’s hoping for a stone filled fall release 😉

I’m hoping for more stones of this cut in the future too! It’s a wonderful new option. I like the silvers in different sizes too, so why not some stone size/shape variation that might support the smaller beads better too? The last couple of summers, particularly, I’ve used multiples of a favorite small seasonal silver bead (like the crab) separated by common color glass or stone. It gave me symmetry in silver, boosted the silver design, and a little variance too – very wearable, and a great go-to. I’m working on a seahorse bracelet for my go-to bracelet this summer, with some bright aventurine or lapis. So fun to play with!

I am so excited about the pendant! It’s been a while since we’ve had a new pendant designed for the traditional chains. Love it!

I think a lot of people will love the pendant for summer 😀
