I’ve made no secret of the fact that I’m a fan of this case. I use it extensively when I’m travelling. I also really like this idea of limited edition colours for different seasons, holidays or occasions.

This case is described as burgundy and frankly that’s my one objection to the whole thing. It’s not burgundy. It’s more of a blush or raspberry shade. It’s not a true red but it is absolutely lovely. The logo is printed in an off white colour.

As with it’s predecessors, it has three tiers and elastic to hold the case together. One tier is designed for complete bracelets, the other two for loose beads or jewellery pieces. I’ll admit I’m reusing the image from the sparkling purple case here.

Lastly here it is with the purple from the Black Friday offer and the ice blue from the winter promotion.

Trollbeads Stackable Jewellery Case in Burgundy Summary

I mentioned in my review of the Ohm Beads Ohm2Go Travel Case that I travel really light. I just don’t want the hassle of dragging large amounts of luggage around with me. It does prove a problem though as I do travel tech-heavy. Between laptops, chargers, power banks, cameras and lenses, space is valuable for me.

The thing I like about these cases is that you can actually fit a large amount of jewellery in there. A few readers have mentioned that the size is actually not ideal for highly efficient packing and they are correct about that, though I’d assume Trollbeads weren’t designing for the likes of me when they made this.

Remember again that the promotion does end on the 14th and you can use the other promotions to qualify for the $150 spend on this.

As always I love to hear from my readers. What are your thoughts on the latest Trollbeads Stackable Jewellery Case? Hit the comments and let me know!

Well, at least it’s closer to burgundy then in their campaign pics but I agree. It’s not burgundy. Things like this (with any company, not just Trollbeads) always make me wonder how they happened. Admittedly this is very minor – but still you think someone there would have noticed. I am glad it’s darker then I thought at least. Now I actually want one 🙂

I just had the most BRILLIANT idea for these!!!!

As I may have mentioned I like these travel cases but have been at a loss for what to do with them as they don’t really suit my travel needs. (I only need something small – like the new Ohm case, which also feels more secure with the zipper.) I have accumulated a rather large number of these cases some from when they started in 2012 or 2013. I have been trying to think of a good use for them – I have wanted to use them for permanent storage/oraganization as even if labeled it seems as though I’d constantly be looking for the right one and doing a lot of digging, although they might be useful this way for storing silvers by themes, particularly beads that don’t really work well for much else, i.e. definitively Christmas beads, or maybe letter beads. Now that I’m writing this I think I will set aside one for stoppers which are nice to keep handy.

    So my idea…

Collecting beads for a specific project/idea and keeping them all together until it’s done.

Probably not for everyone but I have a few projects that I have been tinkering with for months that are lying around in labeled zip-lock bags. And even more that are zip-locks that are collecting beads and charms for dangles for future ideas – some involving searching for the perfect bead to represent whatever and these can sit for a while particularly if I find a traditional charm that is just perfect as then I have to find a bail and solder it on, and they invariably sit around as I don’t do a lot of soldering anymore and have to get all set up.

Okay, maybe not the most exciting thing for some but I am an organization junkie. Plus, I have all those cases.

I also love Victoria’s idea, which I found in a really old post, for using them for shopping trips. An easy way to take all those beads you’re trying to match. Now I haven’t actually made the trek to a B&M bead store almost 6 months but you never know when I might again.

Thanks for indulging my organizational obsessional 🙂
