Trollbeads Splat Kit Uniques & Inspiration

This Trollbeads blog brings live images of one of the new styles of Trollbeads Unique Kits.

Alongside the popular new Trollbeads Feather Kit Uniques came a second style of kit. The concept stores began referring to these as starfish kits but I didn’t really agree with that. I can’t understand why Trollbeads would release starfish after the summer uniques had ended. Please do understand at this point that uniques are simply named “uniques” from a brand perspective.

When I first saw them I began referring to them as Splat Kits as I thought it looked like a paint splat, albeit yes with eyes. Regardless of what they’re meant to be, they are cute and cheerful!

These kits come with two premium style uniques. One is the older paw print design and the second is the new splats. Both come in a large range of colours.

There are some beads that just make me smile an these new uniques fall into this category. I couldn’t resist conjuring a quick bangle. This is the first time the Trollbeads Pumpkin Caterpillar has been seen live too and my first real Halloween bracelet of the season.

Trollbeads Splat Kit Uniques

These kits have been circulating for a few weeks now but it’s always impossible to judge how long they will remain available. We just listed some in duos and trios over at Great Lakes Boutique for anyone interested.

I love Trollbeads Uniques and seeing the new designs this year has been so much fun. I would love to finally see some Halloween Uniques, though it’s not really celebrated in Denmark so I doubt that will ever happen.

As always I love to hear from my readers. What are your thoughts on the new Trollbeads Splat Kits? Do you find these more or less appealing than the Feather Kits? Hit the comments and let me know!

I love your nomenclature here – “Splat kits” is hilarious, and they are cute little things. I’ve mostly moved away from uniques lately, but, dang, they’re cute! And I dipped a toe back into uniques lately when I snagged your kit with two fish and Blue Ocean…

Good to see your new caterpillars in action. Those do look quite a bit different than I was expecting from the mock-up image. I liked the mock-up version a lot, since they looked like a lovely, cheerful shade of orange that could be used pretty much year-round. These look much more Halloween-y. Which admittedly is your theme, but makes them not nearly as versatile. Well, I’ll look forward to seeing you make more combos with them – I’m sure you’ll come up with something fun.

Sorry you don’t like the Caterpillar as much as you had hoped though.

It’s not that I dislike it, it’s just that I really liked the mock-up, if that makes sense, and had been looking forward to possibly getting a pair of the idea I had in my head. But these definitely fit the event theme.

#splatkits gave me a much needed laugh!

I Love the caterpillar either way. Iā€™d assume each bead will have a different orange hue due to the glass so its going to be fun picking them. Thank you for showing the splat, I fell in love immediately and bought my kit this morning. Thank you for hooking me on yet another awesome Trollbead!
