Trollbeads Purple & Gold Inspiration Starring the Blooming Katniss Pendant

This Trollbeads blog brings purple and gold bracelet inspiration starring the focal Trollbeads Blooming Katniss Pendant.

Pre-orders for the Trollbeads Vine of Dreams bracelet began on Friday but retailers aren’t actually permitted to sell from live images until Monday. This has resulted in a strange sort of “soft pre-launch” situation and for the same reason I haven’t yet been able to share images showing the variation. Rest assured they will go live at midnight (EST) tomorrow night.

Brushing all that aside there’s understandably a lot of enthusiasm for the new bracelet. Utra violet is the Pantone colour of the year for 2018 and Vine of Dreams embraces purple shades. The glass designer (who I m assuming is Lise Aagaard,) has then added the most perfect splash of gold glitter, thus completing a very classic colour scheme. Underpinning all of that is the simple fact that the bracelet represents great value for money. It includes the chain ($45,) an exclusive lock (with average lock prices of $45 these days,) the glass bead and the silver bead for a total price of $109. These designer starter bracelets don’t just have appeal to new collectors but the exclusive components ensure they appeal to veteran fans too.

While we all await the actual launch of Vine of Dreams, I suspect I’m not the only one experimenting with the gold and purple colour scheme.

As a self confessed gemstone fanatic, there’s one obvious bead that comes to mind when I pondered the basis for this bangle combination; the Trollbeads Amethyst. The amethyst varies in shade from the deepest indigos through to what would almost be described as lilacs.

There’s a couple of decorative silver pieces that came to mind when pondering Vine of Dreams. One was the Trollbeads Lightning Bug Spacer with it’s twisted, textured design. The second was the Blooming Katniss Pendant which I’ve really been enjoying though yet to actually feature in editorial content. Though described as a pendant presumably due to it’s size, the Blooming Katniss Pendant can tie together two bracelets or two bangles with a beautiful focal design and that’s how I’ve utilised it here. Two Trollbeads gold plated bangles are the carriers, adorned with the amethysts, yellow hematites, golden rutilated quartz and Stardust Stripe.

Trollbeads Ordering Details

Do remember that US retailers are still able to offer the Trollbeads Bangle Promotion until Tuesday the 17th. That offers a pair of plain spacers free when purchasing a bangle. Copper bangles reward copper spacers. Silver or gold bangles reward silver spacers.

Vine of Dreams pre-orders are permitted globally but not from live images until Monday. Tomorrow night I’ll publish details of my retail partners offering that option.

Finally you’ll find a list of those partners below if you want to shop the designs featured here today. The exact beads can be found at Great Lakes Boutique

Trollbeads Purple & Gold Inspiration Summary

There are plenty of options out there for those of you either planning to extend the Vine of Dreams Bracelet with additional beads, or perhaps those who can’t quite justify the cost but who want to channel the colours. Of course there’s also the option of introducing further gold via the beads themselves, though they do come with a more prohibitive price tag.

As always I love to hear from my readers. Have you pre-ordered the Trollbeads Vine of Dreams? Are you waiting for live image pre-orders? Will you be extending the bracelet or wearing it as is? Hit the comments and let me know!
