Trollbeads Pre-Fall 2017 Inspiration

This Trollbeads blog brings a little Trollbeads pre-fall 2017 inspiration with an orange and grey combination.

Those of you who follow me on social media (Facebook, Instagram and the Great Lakes Boutique Facebook and Instagram pages,) will know that during the past week, I’ve been showcasing bangle combinations based on the Pantone colours for autumn 2017. One of the staple shades for the fall season is neutral grey and I’ve been representing it with the True Beadz Shadow glass. Shadow is lighter than the Pantone suggested shade but frankly there’s been so little grey glass beads represented amongst the larger brands that I’m still happy.

Grey is being used to underpin a few other key autumn shades. One of those is autumn maple, a burnt orange shade. The closest I’ve actually found in terms of glass is the True Beadz Pumpkin. Aside from the social media images, I made two complete bangles to showcase here. One features the True Beadz Pumpkin and Shadow, the second I tried to make using Trollbeads glass and stones. Trollbeads haven’t featured much here recently, purely because there hasn’t been much in the way of new products.

Trollbeads Pre-Fall 2017 Inspiration

The glass used here is far darker than the autumn maple shade Pantone are recommending for fall. Unfortunately most of the Trollbeads orange glass are very bright colours. I have to confess I do prefer the True Beadz version of this bracelet (and I’ll showcase that tomorrow) but it’s been so long since I’ve shown any real Trollbeads inspiration that I wanted to try.

The bracelet uses a retired Trollbeads Orange Armadillo, a retired Pumpkin and two of the limited edition Royal Orange glass. The grey colour comes predominantly from Agate Dendritic stones which I love. I’ve included the Stone Flower from the Rocky Beach Kit but like every other bead line, Trollbeads do lack grey.

It’s almost a pure Trollbeads bracelet though I have included the Redbalifrog Calla Lily

Trollbeads Pre-Fall 2017 Summary

On the subject of a lack of Trollbeads releases, the Trollbeads Autumn 2017 preview is on August the 18th (which happens to be the same day as the Redbalifrog Woodlands launch. The actual release date is then September the 15th. That means there’s just a shade under three weeks to wait for the fall preview.

As always I love to hear from my readers. What are your thoughts on this bracelet and do you like the colours? What are you wearing right now? Hit the comments and let me know!

I love the combination of orange and grey together… again something I would not have considered! I love your entire bracelet, especially the Pumpkin glass and of course the Agate Dendritc.

You’ll have your own Agate Dendritic soon! πŸ˜€

I know! You won’t believe it, but there’s a bead I’m eyeing already for September. I am definitely loving the stones, and what’s funny is less than a year ago I couldn’t have told what a Agate Dendritic or a Feldspar Moonstone even was.

I like the orange and grey together, although neither orange or grey are colours I am really drawn to. Amber or brown and green I like though when thinking of fall colours. I should be more adventurous. Sometimes it is the particular shade that captures current trends or direction. I think Julia at True Beadz is really good at “seeing” those colours, if you know what I mean. Right now I am wearing pearls and labradorite with silver which look pretty against tanned skin. I am looking forward to the Trollbeads autumn release. I hope it is amazing!

Keep up the good work, I really enjoy reading your blog!

Thank you Lori <3 I do try (with the blog I mean πŸ˜‰ πŸ˜€

Orange isn't a forgiving colour nor is it easy to wear I don't think. I couldn't see myself ever wearing an all orange bracelet for example.. but sometimes if you mix it with neutrals it can work. I agree with you entirely on Julia's eye for colour. Also I really love that she's not afraid to bring out a new colour that's close to something else.. it's those subtle differences in shade that I really love about her work. For example her Pumpkin shade is brighter that the Autumn Maple that Pantone are pushing. I'd actually love to see Julia release another orange colour that is a little more towards those burnt shades.

These beads are beautiful, Victoria. I think the orange moonstone would be lovely on this bracelet too. I just bought it and it has a slight blue/green hue. I’m still wearing summer colours as well as one neutral bracelet. Nice inspiration here as always!

Do you mean the Trollbeads Feldspar Moonstone? I love that stone but I’ve used it so often recently that I didn’t want to “over moonstone” people πŸ˜€

Part of the reason I’ve switched a little early to showing some pre-fall colours is due to the preview of the Trollbeads autumn release in about 3 weeks. Once that collection launches, it will be all about the new beads so I wanted to sneak in early with some ideas for the older beads πŸ˜€

I wish I hadn’t read through these comments because now I am going to suffer for 3 weeks waiting for the TB autumn release! Is it usually a big one? My memory fails me, but I’m hoping it’s a big one with a lot to chose from. I’m always devasted when they release 2 or 3 beads, like when they released the deep sea bead I think it was and 2 other silvers. That wasn’t so fun.

I looked the bead up and sure enough I was incorrect. It’s coral opal (glass bead) that I was thinking will be nice for fall. And would work on your bracelet here. I bought it last month and it’s lovely with Beach Ball so it works in summer as well. It’s fun to look forward to autumn colours. Thanks, Victoria!

Your bracelet is gorgeous, thanks a lot for the wonderful fotos! Orange is one of my favourite bead colours and I wear bracelets with orange beads during all seasons of the year. In combination with pink (for the summer season), black (for Halloween) and blue (all seasons) I like orange very much. I have created a bracelet with my True Touch Shadow (unfortunately only two beads until now), two True Touch Pumpkin, two Hygge beads, one Dancing Fairies Field and one Trollbeads Unique in orange in combination with some of my fovourite silver beads and for me the bracelet is gorgeous.

    Stunning bracelet 😍I love orange!
And I still need another moonlight dancing, one is not enough, I love that bead and I think it can go well with my next halloween bracelet.
Fingers crossed, it’s almost August and then it’s only πŸ™ 18 day’s to wait for the Autumn preview I so hope there will be a few good Halloween charms to come πŸ‘»

…and he the wait till the beads are available…😜
