Trollbeads Pearl Bangle Inspiration

This Trollbeads blog bring a little inspiration starring a simple Trollbeads Pearl Bangle.

Enjoy the weekend ladies and gentlemen because there is a very busy week coming up in bead world. Monday finally sees the preview of the Trollbeads Day 2018 bead. I’m drowning under questions and queries about this bead and I can’t really say anything until next week. Do note that Trollbeads Day itself is on Saturday June the 9th and that’s when sales of the bead begin. I’m aware some retailers are offering pre-orders but strictly speaking there is no pre-order of that bead. Do remember we’re celebrating at Great Lakes Boutique with a Trollbeads Buy Three Get One Free and some very, very special online listings. Don’t miss out.

Kit at Ohm also confirmed on social media that next week is Ohm Gnome Fest 2018. Those of you who follow my blog will know that we announced the Ohm Beads Dirty Moon Me Promotion for Great Lakes Boutique and of course, this is to celebrate Ohm Gnome Fest (though I couldn’t confirm that at the time.)

There is a further collection announcement on Monday and Tuesday sees the launch of the Ohm Beads June 2018 designs. Overall it’s set to be an extremely exciting week.

Trollbeads Pearl Bangle Inspiration

Many of us have been graced with positively glorious weather recently. Okay so there’s more than an element of sarcasm here as the novelty factor has now expired for me and I’m grumpy. I’m too hot. My skin hates the sun. Both the pollen and insects are out in force and part of me wants to hibernate until September. The warmer weather necessities lighter jewellery combinations so today I’m share a pretty simple set of bangles.

Pearls never used to interest me so much but I’ve most definitely developed an appreciation of them. Styled with silver they can create something really quite gothic which is definitely towards my personal tastes. These bangles are simply light for the summer. They’re also asymmetrical which is a huge challenge for me (and yes, these images are already driving me crazy!)

They feature a single Trollbeads Tulip Unique to demonstrate how effective just one of these beads can be. On that note, I’m cutting the kits at Great Lakes Boutique this afternoon and everything will be listed in sets of three. The silver beads are the Trollbeads Daisy of April and Bindweed of September. These were both from 2013 but I always loved the birth month flowers. The single glass on the top bangle is the True Beadz Snow Alchemy and I always liked the combination of simplicity in colour with the bubble details.

Trollbeads Pearl Bangle Inspiration Summary

I want to experiment a little more with pearls in the coming weeks so they’ll probably feature again in the not too distant future, perhaps on something a little darker.

As always I love to hear from my readers. How are you wearing your beads in the heat? Or have you perhaps abandoned your jewellery entirely? Hit the comments and let me know!

Your head would probably explode with all the wrist armor I wear in all types of weather. Lol! But you’ve given me some great inspiration for the pearls. I have three of the white Troll pearls and am never entirely sure how best to style them. So this is great! And putting the Alchemy Snow with the silver is simple and gorgeous. (Alchemy Snow is pretty much perfect anywhere.) So, thanks for the terrific ideas!

Silver and pearls is just such a classic combination and I think it’s hard to go wrong with it. But nope, couldn’t cope with full bracelets in this weather. Just breathing feels like too much effort for me right now. I barely eat when it’s like this and the prospect of wearing bracelets just doesn’t appeal 😀 BUT I think it’s a lot about what you get used to as well. I used to wear full bracelets and never notice them. Then I started having issues with my wrists. Now it’s all bangles and I don’t really notice them either. Yet I know some ladies that don’t wear any jewellery in the heat.

I really like these bangles, Victoria! I tend to mostly wear bangles these days, as I find full bracelets so cumbersome. The lightness is definitely nice in the summer. I hate the heat too and we’re just coming off a very hot muggy week. It’s blessedly cooler today though!

By the way, I’ve seen some shots of the Trollbeads Day bead on Instagram this morning. 😊😊

      Full bracelets hurt me 🙁

I’ve always bruised so easily but particularly when I’m working, they bruise my wrists and it looks *hideous*.

I know there are images of the Trollbeads Day Bead floating around and actually there have been for weeks. It’s really frustrating that we can share it but hey. Rules are rules I suppose :p Monday!! 😀
