Trollbeads Inspiration for Valentine’s Day 2014

Today is the day of lovers though I’ve always been in favour of enjoying self appreciation! This Trollbeads blog article brings a little Trollbeads inspiration for Valentine’s Day 2014.

Happy Valentine’s Day to all of my readers. Regardless of your marital status, I sincerely hope that all of you will take the time to spoil yourselves just a little and enjoy a touch of self appreciation.

Trollbeads debuted their limited edition Be My Valentine bead which I utterly adore and reviewed earlier in the week. I’ve been wearing a couple of Valentine’s themed bracelets recently, as pictured below.

Today I was keen to showcase my favourite themed bracelet of the year however.

Trollbeads Inspiration for Valentine’s Day 2014

This bracelet combines the newly debuted Be My Valentine with last year’s Valentine’s Love dangle. In addition are a couple of the older Trollbeads unique hearts. Silver beads include the new Swan and the older and utterly adorable Cherub. The finishing touch is the Trollbeads Catching Hearts lock.

Trollbeads Inspiration for Valentine’s Day 2014 Summary

After a winter of playing with quite dark colours, I’m finding the ludicrous brightness of this red bracelet deliciously refreshing. I specifically selected a couple of unique beads that boasted both red and purple shades in order to complement the Trollbeads Be My Valentine.

As always I love to hear from my readers. Did you indulge in the Trollbeads Be My Valentine bead? Have you been wearing a Valentine’s Day themed bracelet for this year? If so I’d love to hear the details so hit the comments and let me know!

I love this! So very pretty and inspirational, too. I want/need to get a leather bracelet!
Have a wonderful, loving Valentine’s Day!

      Hi Kim 🙂

I’m in a bit of a leather phase which is odd for me! I’m so glad you liked it though. There’s a whole lot of colour on there so it’s not for everyone but you know, it’s Valentine’s 😉

      Happy Valentine’s!

      Kind Regards
      Victoria

    Hi Victoria,

    Happy Valentine’s day 🙂

Fabulous bracelet, the colours really cheered me up whilst gale force winds are howling outside 🙁 So lovely to see some vibrant colours, and I love how you’ve used red, pink, and orange together.

I didn’t get the TB valentine bead – I do like it, but I liked the Ohm Love Hurts more, and couldn’t afford both. I got home tonight to find my Ohm parcel is at the sorting office, so hopefully I will get to see it tomorrow.

Today I put together a girly pink creation: using my chamilia bangle, on the left hand side I have the faceted aurora in the TB heart pendant, with a pink prism either side. On the right hand side I have the TB Asian hearts nestled between two glass from the newest chamilia release – the glittery pink and blush beads. I stacked it with a Pandora double wrap purple leather with no charms. It looks really pretty and sparkly 🙂

    /hugs

Victoria…love this bright, happy bracelet! I also adore the bracelet from your previous post that showcases Love Hurts, along with various beads from the Dark Shadows collection, all on the gorgeous red leather as well. I commented on that article that I’m getting the 3 Dark Shadows glass (with the free Love Hurts with purchase promotion, even though I won’t get that last bead until late March because it’s on backorder in the US) for the Frightlings bracelet I’m putting together. I finally decided on which Frightlings I want to start off with and ordered a few days ago; can’t wait to receive my package! I’ll also include a couple of Redbalifrog silvers to keep the Frightlings company (Howling Wolf for sure, and probably Sugar Skull). I’ve wanted the Dark Shadows glass since they were first released this past autumn, but had to prioritize and got Ohm’s Cascades Of Color collection instead for my fall/Halloween-themed bracelet. I *love* the beautiful colors of the Cascades beads; they really do bring to mind the dazzling images of nature so evident during that time of year. But, now that I’ve started on my Frightlings obsession, the Dark Shadows suddenly became very “necessary” to create a nice home for the lil’ darlins’! I’ll probably wind up ordering another batch of the Dark Shadows glass when I get my next group of little Frightlings assembled (conveniently, my birthday is late next month. Score!).

Debbie, your “girly” creation sounds beautiful! Which Chamilia bangle do you have (the Flex, or the Solid? There’s also the newest Q1 release Chamilia Brilliance Bangle). I’m getting one of those 3 bangles next month as part of my birthday present (I also have some gift certificates for bead companies that I received for Christmas that I’ve been saving for when I finally decide which bangle I want). I LOVE Chamilia’s newest release, and have been wondering about the Glitter beads; the blush and glittery purple are particularly interesting to me. I wish I could see some better photos of those; it’d help me make up my mind. I can be incredibly indecisive about bead/bracelet purchases, mainly because I don’t want the hassle of having to return them and wait for replacements. It’s really hard to tell what some of the beads look like just from the stock photos, you know? I’m also getting some of the Disney beads from Chamilia’s latest release to add to my fairytale/Disney bracelet, along with the Secret Gift heart dangle and that adorable cupcake bead, Sweet Love (those last two will go on my Family bracelet).

Always such a long list of “gotta-haves” for this hobby.

Hope everyone is doing fine after your scary winds/storms, with a minimum of damage. Did you ladies have a happy Valentine’s Day?

    Take care…

Good to hear that you eventually sorted the Frightlings order. Which did you ultimately choose? I never really wear my Frightlings on bracelets I must admit, they’re nearly always on a necklace.

Ohm’s glass beads have improved dramatically over the past year with Cascades and then the limited edition Spring Flowers and Summer Skies all being lovely. I’m usually very picky regarding glass beads because I’m such a Trollbeads fanatic and that leaves me used to quite high standards I think.

Hi Victoria…I had an explanation of Paypal’s rates as opposed to having your card’s linked bank/credit union convert the currency all typed up, as well as some other (what I thought) were pertinent details regarding all that. Then I read it and realized it was just so much droning on about a subject you’re unlikely to be all that interested in, so I deleted it. Not going into tiresome detail in the interest of being thorough: work in progress.

Frightlings…well, my first group of the lil’ darlins’ (ordered last week while their 10% off Valentine’s promo was available) include Pyro the Demonling (my youngest son’s favorite), Vincent Batling, Nightshade Fairyling, Viktoria Vampling, Dorothy Spookling (I must have gotten the last Dorothy; within a few minutes of my order, the listing for her was changed to “Out of stock”), and of course, the esteemed Aurora Angeling; I couldn’t pass her up. I also ordered the calendar, and can’t wait to have all that creative artwork at my fingertips. Next month is my birthday, so I’m planning on getting more of the little guys-n-gals then, also.

Regarding Ohm’s glass…I’ve only been ordering from them for a little less than a year, so I don’t know what the quality of their glass was like before that. I have a lot of their silvers, and the glass that I have is really pretty, like the Primrose from Spring Flowers that you mentioned, Sanur, Mekong (Rivers Of Live), and I really love the Cascades Of Color glass (I want another set of those). I have a long wish list that includes some of their Aurora Borealis glass, the Lux collection in various colors, a couple from Summer Skies (love Northern lights) and from Spring Flowers (Delphinium is gorgeous, as is Crocus)…etc., etc., etc. As I mentioned in another of your articles, I’ve wanted the Dark Shadows glass since its release last fall, and will include it on both of my Frightlings bracelets. That’s the plan, anyway.

    Nightie-night, and take care…
    Kim7
