Trollbeads Diamond Bead Amber Live Images

This Trollbeads blog brings live images of the newly debuted Trollbeads Diamond Bead Amber, exclusive for the US market

The Trollbeads Diamond Bead Amber has now debuted as a US exclusive and the latest in a line of country specific diamond beads. It’s absolutely dazzling and such an apt colour for the season, though the shade was chosen to be representative of the Waves of Grain of America.

Through the weekend I’ll be sharing some inspiration and ideas for styling this bead (which is actually very versatile,) but for now I wanted to share my own live images.

The colour is quite difficult to describe and it does actually vary, though not enormously. Some of the beads are a little paler. The bead seems to have a creamy base with an amber glass overlay and of course it’s adorned with the characteristic cubic zirconia that gives the design it’s name. Much like amber itself, this bead comes to life in both the sunshine or under lights.

The biggest variation in these beads will probably be found in their size. I’ve always found the diamond beads to vary a great deal and run a little bit larger than average. In the images below you can catch the overlay that looks a lot like honey.

For those keen to indulge, you can find the bead at Great Lakes Boutique via the link below and of course we’re offering live image shopping. Do remember that all participating US retailers are currently offering a free Trollbeads keychain with spends of $125 or more.

It’s certainly fascinating to see Trollbeads break from the purple themed diamond beads for the USA after three quite similar (though stunning,) shades for Japan, Italy and Germany. I actually love the colour, though it’s a little tricky to categorise. It also shifts a little depending on the angle the light hits at. From the sides you catch more of the amber overlay which can make it appear darker. It does team beautifully with the Trollbeads Wings of Amber from earlier in the year.

As always I love to hear from my readers. What are your thoughts on the Trollbeads Diamond Bead Amber and will you be indulging? Hit the comments and let me know!

    Hello Victoria,
A question… will it be limited only geographically? Or will it be limited in time also?

I’m actually unsure! Generally speaking that’s not the kind of information the brand go into details about. As far as I’m aware though, the Italian bead and the Japanese bead are now long sold out which at least implies they were either limited by time or quantity. I’d guess they’ll do the same here? Total speculation!

Hmm, this is a like and dislike for me. I like the flat yellow, but not the shiny yellow, though the shine varies. Matte (flat) yellows I love to bits. This is one I’d have to see in person, because yellows can go very wrong.

I hope you get to see it because it’s really lovely 🙂

Darn. I was hoping for a purple. It is a pretty bead, but boy, I want a purple.

    • endangeredtrolls

I think after three purple coloured beads they might have run their course with that. There’s only so many shades they can cover 😉

Understood. But, I still would love to own just one of the purples. I was hoping for a more translucent ‘royal’ purple – OK, I was hoping for any shade of purple to be honest.

Did you try speaking to any retailers? I know the Japanese bead is long gone but the Italian and German perhaps not and retailers often try their best to help when they are able.

Is it amber or just ambered colored glass?

Is it amber or just amber colored glass?

      It’s glass.

Rarely purchase the glass beads online, but these seem to be going fast! Looks unusual and hopefully very pretty and golden in person.

Thanks for all your good work with this blog! I trust your perspective.

Wondering if this would look good on a Van Gogh Starry Night bracelet ?? Any thoughts ?
