Trollbeads Blue Ocean Revisited

This Trollbeads blog revisits the limited edition Trollbeads Blue Ocean, featuring as part of the necklace promotion for the USA.

Happy 4th of July to my US based readers! Happy any other Wednesday to everyone else. At midnight tonight both the Trollbeads Summer Sale and the Ohm Beads 4th of July Sale end. While there is upto 40% reduction on the retail price of select Trollbeads, there is also a necklace offer. With the purchase of any Trollbeads pendant or Blue Ocean bead, customers can qualify for 25% off their choice of necklace. This can be applied to gold as well and that’s a pretty huge reduction.

In light of this I wanted to revisit Blue Ocean before the offer ended. Ironically I’m featuring the bead on another bracelet and not a necklace. This is partly because I find fantasy necklaces incredibly annoying to photograph, (yet wear them near daily) but also because my initial review of the bead featured a mini bracelet.

Trollbeads Blue Ocean

Blue Ocean is an amazing design. It’s the same core idea as the original Deep Ocean but boasts a blue shade as opposed to the teal. Personally I find it more versatile but it’s absolutely individual choice.

We’ve been treated to quite a plethora of beach and oceanic themed silver beads this year, via both the Trollbeads Summer 2018 collection and the Redbalifrog Big Blue. What I’ve yet to do is show a bracelet where some of these silvers are combined and that’s what I wanted to show today. The two brands have always complemented each other well I think and though summer bracelets do not come naturally to me, I have to do a typical and cliched beach themed combination at least once.

This bracelet uses silver beads from the above two collections and multiple Blue Oceans. It’s loud and it’s chunky and it’s unashamedly styled for the summer. I’ve included just a few other glass or stones to space the Blue Oceans just a little. These include one of the Trollbeads Blue Striped Agates, a unique footprint (it felt apt for a beach themed bracelet) and one of the new unique fish.

Trollbeads Blue Ocean Ordering Details

Blue Ocean is available globally but it’s the US market with the promotion that includes the fantasy necklace. It is a bead worth buying from live images so I’ve marked retailers offering live image shopping with a *.

Trollbeads Blue Ocean Summary

Whilst Blue Ocean features here on a bracelet, oddly while promoting a necklace promotion, it does look amazing on a fantasy necklace. Those with smaller wrists may also find it a little less cumbersome to them.

I will say again that when using this promotion to access a 25% saving on gold necklaces, the discount is really nice. We don’t see a huge amount of promotions in regards to gold so if you’ve ever been tempted, now is absolutely the time. I’m personally desperate for a gold Trollbeads bracelet (weird I know as a bangle wearer but I mostly want to wear it with just one or two beads!) Ironically it’s mostly following the release of the Ohm Beads Black Coffee which looks so beautiful against gold.

As always I love to hear from my readers. What are your thoughts on the Trollbeads Blue Ocean and did you indulge? Hit the comments and let me know!

Blue Ocean is so beautiful and complex. It’s on my wishlist for sure! I love the way you styled this bracelet, btw.

It’s such a beautiful bead. I really hope it’s a theme they keep revisiting in the future. I also love the coordination by Trollbeads this year. The fact the summer release then ties so well with the summer fish uniques. Some of those fishies even match the ones inside Blue Ocean perfectly. It all feels so beautifully cohesive.

      I do hope it’s a strategy we’ll see more of 🙂

But yes you absolutely must get it before it disappears 😀

Trollbeads have really made the uniques special. I used to just look at them with confusion and think “leftovers?” Now they are themed and it makes more sense to buy them (to me, anyway!).

I’m just crazy about the Red Bali Frog ocean beads, the whale, the shells, the sea turtle! The Blue Ocean is a bit large for me and my small wrist, but I like it.

Really like the blue ocean my favourite way to wear it, is with all silver, tiny silver round beads at the ends, getting bigger towards the middle,
