Endangered Trolls is a fashion jewellery blog with a specific focus on modular jewellery brands (most commonly charm jewellery.) These include such brands as Trollbeads, Pandora, Redbalifrog, Ohm Beads, Novobeads, Thomas Sabo Karma Beads, ACA Kreations, True Beadz, X Jewellery, and more. If you’re new to Endangered Trolls, please read this article first as it will offer little insight into site navigation, how Endangered Trolls operates and what you can expect to find here.
Release dates, reviews and shopping advice can all be found on these pages if only you know where to look.
I’ve been a self confessed fashion and jewellery addict since my early teens and can wile away many an hour seeking out current and upcoming trends. I’ve now been blogging on various subjects for around ten years in addition to dabbling in fiction writing (primarily the fantasy and urban fantasy genres.)
Away from the blog I’m a passionate horse rider and share my life with my Haflinger dressage stallion, my ever growing collection of cats and a Siberian Husky.
I’m based in Denmark, home of many a fabulous jewellery brand, making me ideally positioned to attend press events for my associated brands. For contact details please scroll to the bottom of the page. This also explains the prevalence of Danish based brands.
Endangered Trolls as a Jewellery Blog
I aim to provide up to date news, gossip and general information pertaining to new collections and limited edition releases. With internet shopping so prevalent for many of us, you’ll also find a plethora of product reviews. With these I aim to offer a more in depth examination of a product to give a better perspective prior to purchasing.
All images are used with full consent of the copyright owner. These owners are also acknowledged on each image posted. Please be aware that while I appreciate people sharing my own images, it is in violation of copyright laws for them to be edited in any fashion.
In the right hand sidebar is a scrolling release calendar detailing upcoming collections. Clicking on an image will open the corresponding preview page where available.
Navigating Endangered Trolls
Brands for which I am most associated are featured on the header of the main page. Clicking on any of these tabs will open a landing page dedicated to your selected brand. Here you’ll find reviews, previews, collection summaries, retired beads and various other information related to your choice.
Endangered Trolls has now been in existence for a number of years and with this in mind, there is an enormous amount of content related to certain brands. The landing pages show the latest nine articles in each category (for example Trollbeads reviews or Pandora previews.) Below these images is a link to see all the articles in the related category.
A list of upcoming promotions for both Pandora and Trollbeads can be found under the “Misc” category.
Meanwhile current promotions are visible in the right sidebar.

Sponsored Adverts and Dedicated Shopping Pages
Endangered Trolls is a for profit blog and with this in mind, I accept sponsored adverts for retail stores or brands that are of interest to my reader base. I don’t use Google Ads.
Retailers I am actively associated with appear along the right hand side of the page. Clicking on these adverts will open the corresponding page in a new window.
When new collections launch, I feature recommended purchasing links in the text of the article. These links are predominantly to the retailers that I’m associated with.
Some retailers choose to maintain a dedicated shopping page at Endangered Trolls. Via these pages you will find information about the store, current offers or promotions and their contact details and social media information. The pages are located in the “Shopping” tab of the main menu.
Without the support of retailers, brands and PR agencies, Endangered Trolls would not be in existence today. If you enjoy my work, please consider supporting my associated retailers when you choose to shop online.

Frequently Asked Questions
1/ Does Endangered Trolls only feature brands that supply products samples or otherwise pay for inclusion?
No, absolutely not. I work with brands that provide neither samples nor offer any sort of financial motivation. In other instances some brands have only offered samples after I have actively featured them for a number of years. The individual circumstances vary from brand to brand. I work with brands varying in size from single people to corporations employing thousands and from those who are mere months into their journey to the likes of Trollbeads who are nearing fourty years old. The important fact is whether I love the product.
Endangered Trolls started life as not for profit blog with the aim of nothing more than to showcase something I’m passionate about. It continued this way for years before I made the move to accepting advertising revenue and product samples. Both of these decisions were taken to allow me to continue to dedicate as much time as possible to it’s running.
2/ Why does (insert your favourite brand here) not feature at Endangered Trolls?
There could be many reasons for this. Firstly I’m just one person and I have a limited amount of time, it’s absolutely not possible for me to feature every brand. Second to that I only work with brands where I have full written permission to reproduce their stock images. Not everyone wants to work with me.
When I feature a brand here at Endangered Trolls I offer reviews, previews and news articles. This requires some degree of communication between myself and the people behind the brand. All of the images I use come with express permission. Without that it makes it very difficult for me to adopt a new brand, at least to the extent I would like. The fact a brand does not feature here is no reflection on quality or personal taste.
3/ Why do you not work with more artisans?
Artisans brings an amazing amount of diversity and interest to the bead and charm world and I do not underestimate this. Unfortunately however it’s impossible for me to feature all artists and I’m uncomfortable with the thought of personally selecting who I feature here. The alternative would be to showcase any artist who wished to work with me and that’s simply not viable due to time constraints.
4/ Why are there no advanced Pandora previews?
In 2013 I signed an agreement with Pandora that ensured ongoing permission to use Pandora stock images. It also prevented the use of Pandora pre-release images.
