Trollbeads Black Friday Bead 2018 Preview – Trollbeads Snowflake Obsidian Facet

This Trollbeads blog brings a preview of the new Trollbeads Black Friday Bead 2018 as pre-orders begin immediately.

It’s midnight in the USA and we can finally discuss the much anticipated Trollbeads Black Friday Bead 2018. It’s officially named the Trollbeads Snowflake Obsidian Facet and obviously it’s a gemstone!

Pre-orders are beginning globally immediately for a release on Friday November the 23rd. The in store counter date is Friday so don’t expect to be able to hit your local store in person to buy these until then. The retail price is $65, identical to most of the faceted cut stones and it is a limited edition release.

The Trollbeads Snowflake Obsidian Facet is a black based gemstone characterised by the white and grey snowflake style patterns across the surface.

Trollbeads Black Friday Bead 2018 Summary

For those of you wanting to see live images, my own pictures will be in an article immediately following this and there I’ll discuss more about the variation.

This isn’t the first time Trollbeads have showcased this stone of course. A smooth version was in the collection for a number of years before retiring. A faceted version also appeared in the 2011 gemstone kits but they were only released in three European markets and they were so painfully rare.

As always I love to hear from my readers. What are your thoughts on the new Trollbeads Black Friday Bead 2018? Hit the comments and let me know!

Snowflake obsidian is one of the cheapest gems around. $65 is a rip-off. The silver in the hole isn’t worth that!

Of course it’s not. If the silver was worth $65 neither the brand nor their retailers would make any money 😛

But $65 is the base price point for Trollbeads faceted cut stones and whether it’s worth it or not is down to individual choice. I’ve always been fine with their price point on stones but I am a Trollbeads gemstone fan.
