Sometimes it’s Not About the New… (Trollbeads Autumn Inspiration)

With so many recent releases, it’s easy to get caught up in new shiny beads (or the frustration of being unable to fund them all!) This Trollbeads blog article brings a little Trollbeads autumn inspiration with some old treasures.

The fall period has been incredibly busy for charm and bead collectors. I’ve noticed some readers seem to be feeling a little disillusioned with all the new releases. There is also a feeling among some that as collectors, we’re somehow obliged to buy everything. I don’t think this has ever been the intention of the brand. I do think it’s easy to feel saddened when you can’t keep up with new releases however, particularly when blogs or social media pages are all abuzz with new products. Today’s Trollbeads autumn inspiration features a couple of the newer beads but focuses heavily on some of the delicious older designs that can be overlooked in the hype of the new.

Beautiful mix of the Fall colors, Victoria! I love the glass pumpkin and orange dillo! I’ll never overlook Green Shade again either! What a pretty bead I never gave it a second look before. The two green dillos are that perfect shade of green leaves still on the tree, not turned yet.

The colors you chose we’ve been seeing out our window for a few days! Perfect. What gorgeous Fall leaves we’ve had this year!!

It’s funny, the only beads I have in this bracelet are RBF Egg, TB Gecko, TB silver pumpkin, and TB Green Armadillo (retired). But I’m inspired to take another look at oranges and Fall colors.

      Thank you! πŸ˜€

It’s been a beautiful autumn day here in Denmark – quite mild, blue skies and sunshine and no wind! I was thoroughly enjoying being outside earlier. Of course, being Denmark means it’s going to get really, really cold soon so I’m trying to enjoy it while I can πŸ™

Pumpkin remains one of my favourite Trollbeads πŸ˜€ I really should try and get another one I think πŸ˜€

I’m glad you “got” the bracelet – you’re right I was going for a contrast between the very red leaves and the still vibrant green that are clinging on. I love fall!

      /hugs

Hey ,did you realize you have done two bracelets with Critters in a matter of days:) Seem to lend them selves to the Fall colors. I did my Bangles for this week 1 with 2 Glass Pumpkins 2 Babies Breath, 2 Green Aventurines, and 2 Large Berries with the large Strawberry Stripe in the center,it has Coral, Orange, Khaki, Red and White stripes from I think Spring Kit as centerpiece. Other one used Moss Green Footprints as Center flanked by Boganvillia 2 Aqua Edge, 2 Mardi Gris, 2 Aqua Pumpkins and stoppers.
Still have not figured out one to use the Critters, just keep the inspiration coming.. got to be a design some where some how using them that will make me happy.
Have to really work to remember my old standbys

Tell me about it! My critters rarely come out to play and then suddenly here they are πŸ˜‰

Your bangles sound great though. I still wear my bangle far more than my bracelets.

Lovely bracelets Victoria, and I am very jealous of all your scrumptious ‘dillos!

I love Pumpkin, and often have them on my bangle as it is very versatile glass. Luckily because of my obession for glass in pairs I got two of them before they retired.

Love the way you’ve gone with two glass – one silver in the design. I like this look but it does take quite a few of similar coloured beads to pull off. Oh how I would love a rummage in your bead boxes πŸ˜‰

    /hugs

My precious bead boxes!!! You’d be more than welcome to come and have a rummage, provided you brought your ByBiehl πŸ˜‰
