Trollbeads Art to Go Preview

This Trollbeads blog brings a complete preview of the upcoming Trollbeads Art to Go, the designer bracelet for fall 2018.

During the last few days at the Bead Bash on the Lake event, I’ve had several people approach me asking about the Trollbeads Winter 2018 collection. Actually I’ve not seen anything of the release yet. I’ve been unable to disclose that there was an earlier preview. Today sees both the unveiling and pre-orders for the Trollbeads Art to Go Bracelet for fall 2018.

Trollbeads Art to Go

Art to Go is the designer bracelet for the autumn and winter season, as Wishful Sky was for last year. It focuses enormously on the Trollbeads Unique concepts and anyone who has ever seen founder Lise Aagard talk about uniques will know they’re absolutely a passion for her. In that sense Art to Go feels a very Trollbeads release.

The bracelet is retailing at just $99 and features an exclusive lock and bead, the chain itself and a unique.

β€œEvery child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once we grow up” – Pablo Picasso

The sterling silver bracelet consist of a silver artist bead displaying a paint brush and two pencils and a unique bead. The bracelet is fastened with a silver artist lock featuring two paint tubes.

Trollbeads Art to Go Pre-Orders

We’ve just started pre-orders for Art to Go at Great Lakes Boutique but do note the release date is October the 5th so we can’t ship until then. For those wanting to shop live images instead of random uniques, we’ll be beginning those either late Tuesday or early Wednesday after we’ve got everything situated back in store.

For those of you in Europe you can pre-order from the following retailers:-

Trollbeads Art to Go Summary

I will say the lock and silver are super cute and I’ll be sharing more in depth images of those pieces this week. It feels different to Wishful Sky or Vine of Dreams, both of which were quite elegant. Art to Go is fun and cheerful and playful and just an outright celebration of uniques. It feels apt to close out a year that has seen the unique concept quite revamped with amazing designs.

As always I love to hear from my readers. What are your thoughts on the Trollbeads Art to Go? Hit the comments and let me know!

Oh, I see now why they reduces their Uniques list recently…
Although I’m an artist this design of the lock and the silver bead doesn’t appeal to me like at all… and random uniques do not sound good either, so will pass on this one.

I’m not sure what you mean in regards to reducing their uniques? There’s been amazing uniques during 2018 in my opinion πŸ™‚

Live images will be at the discretion of the retailer so you can always just shop with a store who will offer those πŸ™‚

This is a wonderful and meaningful bracelet. The perfect starter for uniques and I love that you get to pick one! It is very specific and I’m not sure how many will appreciate it. I know the more abstract and universal the better. But to me this is 100% a must. A whole new bracelet for me to express my love of art and what it means to my family. After loosing my grandmother over 5 years ago I’ve had a hard time expressing her memory. This gives me the perfect opportunity. She was a wonderful and passionate artist. Always taking us to museums or having us paint watercolors of her garden flowers. I think this is the first time I’m being emotional and so in love with the meaning of a bead. I can’t wait to get one!

It’s an amazing bracelet set. I’m wearing it at the moment and the lock is nicely user friendly. I’m so pleased the design means so much to you πŸ™‚

Absolutely amazing! I love this concept! I don’t paint, I’m a photo-artist, and my husband is a sculptor//photographer, but he has friends who are painters and our walls are filled with OOAK work from all of them. Will Trollbeads Canada e-store have these? I can’t order from US retailers, still waiting for an item from Ohio, 10 weeks now, so I’m very wary of ordering anything from the US, and small retailers here are useless, sadly. If the e-store won’t have them, then I’m out of luck. πŸ™

    • endangeredtrolls

It’s a global release so I can’t imagine why Canada wouldn’t have it.

      • Lola

It’s in-store only, says the Troll Canads site now, so that means retail stores only, which means very few options, and zero for me. The Canadian retailers Troll Canada lists for this offer are all useless.

As an art history BA and MA, I love it. I will wait until I can pick the unique. Please remind us on the blog when we can shop live images!

    • endangeredtrolls

Will do. I’m aiming to begin that tomorrow and we have some amazing uniques ready for this πŸ™‚

  5. Desi

I love this!!! I am thinking about all of my art type beads that will coordinate nicelty. (Art pallet, drama mask, camera, music notes.)

    • endangeredtrolls

Yes it’ll be an easy bracelet to expand upon I think πŸ™‚

  6. Linda Jo

Love it! Finally, something different. I’ve already gone through my bead box to pick out beads for this bracelet.

    • endangeredtrolls

It’s very cute. The lock is really quirky in my opinion and I think it has a great price point!

  7. Fiona

well, not my taste but I admire the concept and thought that has gone into it – it should do well. Some customers will be happier than others if the bead is random ……….some uniques are great and others are pretty average! With so many bead companies out there now it must be hard to come up with good new commercial ideas. Great for crafters! I would be happy to get that heart bead!

    • endangeredtrolls

It’s upto retailers whether they offer live images of their uniques so customers can just choose to shop that way instead πŸ™‚

  8. Vicki Berger

What are the silvers? I can’t ell.

  9. Vicki Berger

What are the silvers? I can’t tell.

  10. Joyce Hulings

I LOVE it! Very meaningful for me as I dabble in being an artist.

  11. Desi

I got mine in and it is lovely. I have been waiting for something like this. The small silver looks like a tiny brush and tube of paint wrapping around. Tiny but lovely.
I was able to choose my glass.
