The Palace of Amber Blooming Amber Inspiration

This charm bracelet blog brings a little inspiration for the newly debuted The Palace of Amber Blooming Amber.

Last night saw the launch of the The Palace of Amber Blooming Amber at Great Lakes Boutique and our latest exclusive collaboration with this amazing brand. Blooming Amber continues what Starry Winter Forest began for the winter season. It’s created as a celebration of the start of the spring season. We know it’s a little early but we wanted to make sure these beads reached everyone as the new season begins. It features an amber oval with a full silver core that extends up the side of the bead to create a decorative floral case.

Regular readers will know I adore amber so today I’m sharing my latest bracelet combination. This one is actually mine as opposed to something just made for the blog. It also features the Trollbeads Wings of Amber.

You can still find Blooming Amber via the link below and what’s listed is all we have, though there’s still a beautiful selection. Some Wings of Amber are now live too for anyone inspired by this design.

For this bracelet I wanted to try and capture a very early spring forest. There are silver designs that still represent the late season frosts such as the Trollbeads Winter Snow (available here) or the amazing Redbalifrog Snowflakes (available here.) I love the latter so much with their tiny wooden logs. I’d actually really like to see Amanda reproduce this design with different etchings or symbols for each season. Pine cones> and leaves still litter the ground with the Redbalifrog Pine Cone (available here) and their Maple Lovers Leaf (found here.) Simultaneously spring is starting to appear. Sleepy bees are re-emerging and the first flowers are blooming. The Trollbeads Lush Meadow makes it’s first appearance for that (found here.) One last notable inclusion is one of my favourite Redbalifrog beads, the Owl Nest (available here.) I adore owls and this is such a sweet design.

The Palace of Amber Blooming Amber

I’ll be sharing a second bracelet for this release next week. Unfortunately one of the inclusions isn’t released until then. As it stands now over half of the Blooming Amber are sold but it was a good sized inventory so there’s still lots to shop from. Do also note that stocks of Wings of Amber are now dwindling. They were limited edition and it seems current stock is all that remains. There’s a lovely rough green two bug currently on the website!

As always I love to hear from my readers. What are your thoughts on this bracelet and indeed The Palace of Amber Blooming Amber? Hit the comments and let me know!

I love this bracelet, Victoria, but then, you know I’m a bit obsessed with amber too! The Blooming Amber is beautiful. I really like the design with the large oval stone and decorative endcaps and am happy to see that concept continued. And with amber! 🙂

I hadn’t really been going to seriously look, but was browsing Facebook last night and saw your alert that you’d just listed the final batch. So I went on over (I was just going to look, honest), saw a lovely sparkly one, and thought, “I’ve had a really shitty week, so why not?” Amber always makes me think of sunshine, so it’s a wonderful choice for spring.

You know what too? For the size of them.. for the silver too.. the price is so good in my opinion. You get a decent focal piece for $68 😀

I must admit I’m a bit in love with this bracelet too though I think some would argue it feels a bit more autumny than spring.

I’m sorry you had a bad week. I hope at least you can have a nice weekend 😀

Ambers are for all seasons! I always say wear what you like, and never mind what you “should” be wearing. You’re definitely right about TPOA prices. They’re very good compared to, say, Troll. You get a lot of bang for your buck, and good quality too.

As to my week – I skidded on ice while on the freeway, spun out of control and landed in a ditch. Thankfully no other cars were involved. My car was totalled and I was sore and shaken but not badly hurt. Definitely a horrible week, but it could have been so much worse. I’m continuing to rest and recover this weekend.

Oh my god 🙁 It’s great you weren’t badly hurt but the shock factor must be awful :O :O Be careful 🙁 Sometimes it kicks in later when you aren’t expecting it 🙁 Definitely a weekend for chilling with beads 🙁

          • Kim

Thank you! I’m doing all right. Stiff and sore, but in the grand scheme of things, I was lucky. It’s an excellent weekend for beadplay. 🙂

    @Kim
OMGOODNESS , I pray you are feeling well and that your car will be replaced with very little cost. May not seem like it as you are now without wheels but there is much to be thankful for as you said you or no one else were harmed.
Hope you got a fabulous, sunny pick you up Amber.

    • Kim

Thanks for the kind words, Angela. I’m just trying to focus on the positive. I wasn’t hurt badly and nobody else was involved. Cars can be replaced. And yes, I did get a beautiful sunny amber with tons of sparkle!
