Svane & Luhrs Pink Leather Bracelets for Valentine’s Day 2015

This charm jewellery blog brings a collaborated showcase of the Svane & Luhrs pink leather bracelets, ideal for Valentine’s Day.

My obsession with Danish brand Svane & Luhrs is continuing as I slowly build up a respectable collection of leather bracelets. I’ve mentioned before but at the core of my adoration for Svane & Luhrs is the fact they boast such an enormous array of colours in their leather bracelets. I’ve always loved leather charm bracelets. They’re comfortable, they’re stylish and they can be coordinated with an outfit. Mine sit on a jewellery tree in my bedroom. As I don’t really move charms around on this type of bracelet, they’re all ready to go at a moment of notice so I can grab the best to suit what I’m wearing and be out of the door. I rarely have the luxury of much time to get ready. My Saturday mornings usually involve dragging myself out of bed at 7am to put Victor in the field, clean the stables, bring him back in, then change my own clothes and be ready to leave the house for around 10. Go to bracelets are vital for me if I wish to accessorise and this brand are definitely my go to staple.

With Valentine’s Day approaching pink leather is so perfect! I’ll be showcasing my own Svane & Luhrs pink leather bracelet next week but for now, here’s a collaborated look at the different shades and finishes available.

Svane & Luhrs Pink Leather Bracelets

Aside from the vast array of colours Svane & Luhrs also offer choices in regards to their locks. They’re all simple to use with a magnetic locking system but all of the bracelets have a choice of silver, gold plated, rose gold plated or blackened rhodium plating on clasp. Further to that you can have them with or without zirconia detailing. So your bracelet can either have a contrasting metallic lock or a more subtle coordinating one.

They have a choice of three pink leather bracelets at present, each ideal for Valentine’s Day but all differing from each other slightly. First is the Soft Pink Leather Bracelet in a candyfloss colour. It’s retailing at €60 for the plain lock and €73 for the lock with the zirconia detailing.

Svane & Luhrs Pink Leather Bracelets Summary

For those of you tempted by this brand (and I really do recommend them,) they’re available directly via Svane & Luhrs with global shipping offered.

It’s quite fun to see how the finish on the clasps can completely change the feel of the bracelet. Pink and gold is classical. The pink and black is quite punk feeling. The pink on pink is actually delicious!

As always I love to hear from my readers. What are your thoughts on the Svane & Luhrs pink leather beracelets? Have you been tempted by this brand yet? Hit the comments and let me know!

I haven’t indulged in this brand yet, but every time you post about them, I go to their website and spend a lot of time making up bracelets in my mind, choosing the color and then browsing through the charms. πŸ™‚ The color selection is very appealing – my favorite colors so far are the lime green and turquoise. I don’t care much for leather jewelry as a rule, but these are so bright and fun. I finally broke down on my leather jewelry prohibition and ordered by first ByBiehl bracelet, which is on its way, so maybe that will be what’s needed to get me over my no leather rule so that I can eventually try these too! By the way, I’m not much of a pink person, but the raspberry bracelet here packs quite a punch!

I think the sheer choice of colours on their website is real eye candy for jewellery lovers πŸ˜€ πŸ˜€ ByBiehl are lovely and it’s a really cool concept they have. They’re very comfortable to wear too. I’m sure you’ll love them πŸ™‚

I like leather because I generally find it more comfortable when compared to silver charm bracelets. I also like coordinating them to my clothes.. or my pony’s clothes πŸ˜‰ And the great thing about Svane & Luhrs is that if you want a “green” bracelet there’s a huge choice of shades, not just one standard green. It’s a lot of fun πŸ˜€

Oh, oh, my ByBiehl purchase just came! I do really like it – even the leather bracelet, LOL. And the pods are so cool! And you’re right, it is really comfortable to wear. That’s a big plus in my book, since my one complaint about my Troll bracelets is they’re just do heavy, and I always preferred more delicate jewelry before starting to collect them. But I’m definitely a ByBiehl convert now! And maybe now that I’ve taken the plunge with a leather bracelet, I’ll feel more comfortable actually ordering from Svane & Luhrs as well. πŸ˜€

I have to confess I’ve had bruises around my wrists in the past from my Trollbeads bracelets πŸ™ Though I should mention I bruise VERY easily but it’s still unattractive and problematic. I find leather far more comfortable to wear if I’m actually working. Sometimes I go into town in the summer and sit outside cafes to work and in those situations leather is just a much better option for me. I also love the colours they provide πŸ˜€

ByBiehl is difficult to describe to people who haven’t seen it. I’ve yet to speak to anyone unimpressed by the brand if they’ve bought it but they don’t seem to photograph well :/

You should definitely get yourself a nice Svane & Luhrs bracelet to go with it. They’d look great stacked πŸ˜€ Lime green with your black or brown ByBiehl.. divine!!

Oooh, great idea! I don’t normally stack, but since the leather is so lightweight, maybe I’ll give it a try. My ByBiehl is black. I thought I’d buy the natural colored bracelet first, but found a black starter bracelet with the Night Fever pod, and I really like star motifs, so… My other pod is the Sunshine, which was on sale. And now I have a Dark Side of the Moon pod on the way too, so I’ll have a sun, moon and stars bracelet. πŸ™‚ Maybe I’ll get the natural and the lime Svane & Luhrs for the summer!

These look nice! How are they on quality? I have a few leather Story bracelets and have been very pleased with them – are they comporable? I like the idea of the different coloured clasps…..

    • endangeredtrolls

They’re lovely. My oldest is closing on a year now and it still looks brand new. Considering I have a habit of choosing my pony’s wardrobe to match my bracelet colours (or vice versa) should give an indication of how often I’m wearing them too πŸ˜› We were in a lime green and blue for winter. I’m after a nice pale blue for spring to match Victor’s new outfit πŸ˜›

They’re comparable in most other aspects. They both use magnetic locks. The charms are compatible with each other. Svane & Luhrs generally have more colours and the choice of different locks though.

LOL – love the idea of wearing your jewellery to match your pony’s accessories!!! You must be a well-turned out pair! I might have a look at what colour I “need” and review what I already have. I do want a properly pink leather bracelet – really like the look of the soft pink one – and it doesn’t look too wishy washy a colour either. I sent the powder pink Story one back because it matched my skin!

  3. Faye

Really really super pretty! I love the two smooths, so soft looking and super pretty for Valentine’s Day!

  4. Faye

Their website however, STILL, sucks. I’m sorry as a customer you know how frustrated one gets when you can’t locate what you are looking for. So while I could get to the pink smooth via your link Victoria, I could not find the smooth black, typing in the search or quick search box doesn’t even take your typing, and returns no results, only snakeskin. UGH. It is enough to make me give up honestly. I already have the Story black smooth, but thought I’d transition this to S&L.

Under bracelets you just click on the different colours available and it filters the products for you πŸ™‚ At least that’s how I search:-

      • endangeredtrolls

Oh yeah and there are other filters next to the colour for which type of leather and which type of lock πŸ™‚

Thanks, Victoria, for clearing out πŸ™‚

          Kind regards,

  5. Lauren

OMG, I want that pink snakeskin!! It looks gorgeous and unique.

    • endangeredtrolls

Hi Lauren πŸ™‚ I don’t have that one but I do have a lot of Svane & Luhrs and they are SO lovely! I can definitely recommend πŸ™‚

I really can’t get that smooth pink Svane & Luhrs out of my mind! So pretty and different. I want it very much – and thank you Victoria, your navigation tips helped me to click differently and find the variety of leather bracelets I was searching for. Their colors are really out of this world superb! I love the ocean colored one too, and the grey, and the snakeskin.

        • endangeredtrolls

It’s the choice of colours that really sets the brand apart for me I must admit. I like not having a default blue but a whole range of shades.

          I think you’d like them Faye πŸ™‚
