Svane & Luhrs Marsala Bracelet Review

This charm bracelet blog brings a dedicated review of the Svane & Luhrs Marsala Bracelet, perfectly on trend for the autumn season.

As part of the Svane & Luhrs Spring 2015 collection came a delicious marsala leather charm bracelet. Marsala was declared colour of the year 2015 by Pantone so it was absolutely my pick of leather bracelets for the year. Though it featured here briefly when I showcased the Svane & Luhrs Nordic Charms, I’ve been keen to offer a more dedicated article.

Though it launched as part of their spring line, the colour is perfect for the fall season.

Much like the fortified wine that gives Marsala its name, this tasteful hue embodies the satisfying richness of a fulfilling meal while its grounding red-brown roots emanate a sophisticated, natural earthiness.

I opted for the version with the rose gold plated lock as I felt the warmer metal hue was a good complement.

In previous articles readers have asked about the stitching. It’s very neat and do keep in mind that a macro lens makes the edging look far larger than it actually is. It does have just a hint of a red contrast.

I’ve been styling it with some other lovely autumn colours, including the X Jewellery Khaki Links and the Trollbeads Feldspar Moonstone on their lovely new copper bangle.

Svane & Luhrs Marsala Bracelet Summary

I’m such a huge fan of leather charm bracelets. They’re so comfortable to wear and I like the pop of colour that they bring to an outfit. Svane & Luhrs have been my go-to since Story by Kranz & Ziegler were sold to a third party and I’ve yet to be disappointed in anything I’ve received from them. I’ll admit that I’ve tended to focus primarily on the leather bracelets rather than the charms but my opinion is starting to change a little. I’m also eagerly awaiting the launch of the Svane & Luhrs Autumn 2015 collection.

As always I love to hear from my readers. What are your thoughts on the Svane & Luhrs Marsala Bracelet? Does the colour appeal to you? Are you a fan of the brand? Hit the comments and let me know!
