The editorial content at Endangered Trolls will always be free to readers but I’ve never made any secret that it’s a for profit blog (after all it’s a full time job for me.) Due to ever increasing hosting costs as the blog continues to grow, I’m now accepting voluntary support for those wishing (or able) to help Endangered Trolls.

Please note that retailers or brands wishing to advertise at Endangered Trolls can find information here.

Donate to Endangered Trolls

Firstly I’d like to thank every single reader. It’s the community that fuel Endangered Trolls and those who read, comment, subscribe by email and follow me on social media are all offering me immense support. The decision to add a donate button has been a difficult one for me but numerous readers have encouraged me to do so. I sincerely hope that no one will feel either offended, obliged or pressured as that is absolutely not my intention. Endangered Trolls is my only source of income and 2013 saw my blog elevated not just to the professional level (according to my hosting,) but beyond.

I do receive product support and this results in most of my income being by way of beads. While I feel honoured to receive these, they unfortunately do not pay the household and blog related expenses (and nor can I eat them.) Many people have suggested that I sell older beads in order to provide a monetary income and I do understand this perspective. Alas I feel that part of what people enjoy about Endangered Trolls is the rich content and inspiration I’m able to supply. Should a new release appear that would perfectly complement (for example) a 2013 Trollbeads release, I can accurately show comparisons for those pondering possibilities. If I continually sell these older beads, that is all lost.

Those with the means to provide additional support can now do so via a one off donation or recurring subscription at the links below. It’s basically a tip jar.

While Paypal handles the donations, you can contribute with any debit or credit card and without a Paypal account. Unfortunately I can’t find an option whereby Paypal automatically converts the currency from Danish Kroner to local. While I investigate the possibility of this, I’ll provide a link to a currency converter.

Affiliate Advertisers

Some brands or advertisers work with me via an affiliate scheme. This means that any beads or charms purchased at a specific store via direct links from my blog reward me with a small commission. Many of my readers didn’t actually realise this until recently and since then I’ve seen an increase in those sales. I’d like to thank each of you for that.

For those of you wishing to donate to Endangered Trolls via affiliate schemes, here’s the links you need. Click on them, shop and I’ll receive a commission of any purchases you make.

Please don’t let this discourage you from frequenting my other retail partners though. Their support is just as valued to me (indeed 99% of my revenue comes from those lovely people!) It’s the traffic (or “clicks out“) from my website that influences stores to advertise with me. All the retailers I work with are authorised with their applicable brands so you can absolutely trust you are buying genuine products.
