Redbalifrog Retirement 2017

This Redbalifrog blog alerts readers to the Redbalifrog retirement 2017.

Following the news earlier in the week of the Ohm Beads retirement 2017, today brings a similar story for Redbalifrog. Amanda retires designs very rarely and the last retirement was in 2015. Nevertheless today sees quite a large number of beads exiting production.

Redbalifrog Retirement 2017

Most of these are older designs though there are some absolute classics included such as the Pumpkin Pig. Due to the nature of Amanda’s handmade production process, it’s impossible to simply keep adding to the collection without retiring some designs.

For those of you keen to order, you can do so via Great Lakes Boutique in the USA and I’ve added the products to one landing page for easy referral.

As always I love to hear from my readers. What are your thoughts on the Redbalifrog Retirement 2017? Are you coveting any of these beads? Hit the comments and let me know!

The only one I want to get out of this group is the Arrow but it’s unavailable at G.L.B.

    • Angie

Gene, Swiss Flower and Gift Cottage has it.

        Thanks, Angie!

Yeah they did a inventory count in store before we put the landing page live and sadly Arrow is all sold out. Sorry! 🙁

I’m definitely getting Turtle Dude, poor guy has been on my wish list for so long…

I want arrow too – and I almost bought last month, but I’ve been distracted by events and promos for other brands. I will have to make grabbing one a priority. There are a couple others I need to think about. I keep thinking about Little Key – I’ve always liked skeleton keys and they remind me of my childhood home. I’m curious how big it is relative to her other beads.

And I don’t need a third but I just want to say how much I love Pumpkin Pig. It is among my all time favorites, a nice solid bead and so sweet, it works well on so many bracelets. If any one is on the fence, I’d definitely get one while you can.

Thanks for the heads up on the retirements.

Unfortunately I can’t help regarding the sizing. I did sit down last night to finally have a good look at the list and work out if I should feature anything before the beads completely disappear. Unfortunately I actually have very little of what’s retiring. I do love Pumpkin Pig though and how cute for fall and Halloween!

Thank you! I was on the fence about the pumpkin pig, but due to your post, I need to get it. 🙂

      • Pippa

You won’t regret it – it’s just adorable!

I’m surprised they’re retiring the voodoo key. That’s such a unique, fabulous piece. Although it is hard to envision wearing it to work…

And the pumpkin pig… That was one of the first Redbalifrog beads I bought and remains one of my favorites. And of course it’s the perfect companion to the flying pig.

I actually don’t have the Pumpkin Pig :O I was looking over the list to work out what I could showcase before the beads really do disappear but I’m missing nearly everything here. That discovery was a little alarming :O The pendant I do have though and it’s lovely 😀 It is big though.

I jus want to thank GBL for updating their inventory. I’m getting a little tired of ordering and paying for beads on line only to be told that it’s actually sold out – it’s particularly frustrating when I’ve added to order to get free shipping. This just happened twice with Little Key. Hopefully third time’s the charm!

    • endangeredtrolls

Yeah I get it completely. That’s why we actually zero’d out everything from the new retirement until there was time to do a stock take on precisely what we had. So for those of you looking, if it’s marked *in stock* at Great Lakes right now it’s absolutely available but that does come with the disclaimer that we don’t have a lot of those beads so if you want it, be quick.

For reference the True Beadz counts are upto date again too 🙂

      xoxo

I have them as well… Hartwell House
