Redbalifrog Retirement 2013 – Collaborated Ordering Advice

Following the announcement of the Redbalifrog retirement 2013, this blog article features collaborated ordering links from my recommended retailers

Earlier in the week when I mentioned an imminent Redbalifrog retirement, I promised several readers that once the details were finalised I’d make a collaborated list of ordering details. With the Redbalifrog retirement 2013 now announced, I’ve trawled the sites of my recommended retailers to bring you ordering links.

The confirmed beads are all retired effective immediately but Amanda does not recall these beads. That means existing stock is available for sale but once exhausted there are no more.

Redbalifrog Retirement 2013

The retired beads are as follows:-

  • Redbalifrog Panda Love
  • Redbalifrog Thai Troll
  • Redbalifrog Let the Sunshine
  • Redbalifrog Day of the Dead
  • Redbalifrog Frangipani*
  • Redbalifrog Beaded Heart
  • Redbalifrog Egyptian Scarab

*The Frangipani bead will be redesigned with a slightly smaller opening and launched again at a later date.

    Redbalifrog Retirement 2013

I’ll admit that I have no idea of the stock levels that the individual retailers carry but keep in mind this retirement is effective immediately. With this in mind if you’re interested in a specific design, I’d encourage you to secure one sooner rather than later to avoid any disappointment.

For anyone considering purchasing these beads please consider ordering from some of my featured retailers. It’s thanks to the support of these fantastic small businesses that I’m able to continue running Endangered Trolls. They all offer global shipping and first rate customer service.

Damn! At least two that i want on there, especially the Thai troll!

    • endangeredtrolls

Also coveting the Thai Troll – it could be worse though, at least Amanda’s price tags are reasonable!

Let me know if you succumb ;)

      • Reive

One Thai troll on it’s way to me! I can see why the other beads have been retired, certainly not Red Bali Frogs best examples but the Troll is so cute, can’t understand why he’s feeling so unloved!

        • endangeredtrolls

Oh you can certainly see how the brand has progressed and evolved from the earliest designs. I can absolutely understand you grabbed the Thai Troll though -I think he’s an amazing example of Redbalifrog’s work and he’ll be fantastic with Trollbeads silvers :D

I hope he travels quickly! :)

          Kind Regards

Oh thanks!!!! Do you think is imprudent take it “at your own risk” at diamonds??

    Thanks Victoria!

    • endangeredtrolls

I’ve only ever had ONE item go missing in the post in 6 years of living at the same address – and it was not a bead! Personally I think you will be fine and the store are VERY trustworthy :)

      Kind Regards

Ok thanks!! Finally I ordered to diamonds, but do you know if the shipping of Australia (official store) is certificate??

    Thanks for all your help!!

    :)

    • endangeredtrolls

      Hi :)

I don’t think it is. The problem with ordering from Australia is that European customers often get charged import tax when it arrives in your country. For Denmark, that can be really high!

By ordering from Diamonds4ever you get no additional taxes :D

      I hope it arrives quickly!

    Hi,
Thanks so much for keeping us up to date on RBF. I am just starting to collect them, and have had the troll cutie and beaded heart on my list. They are both hopefully now on their way to me. The shop I bought them from has increased the price of each by $10! But, there’s no tax or shipping, and I really, really want them!! Thanks again for all you do. It’s very much appreciated. Pat

      Hi Pat,

Firstly you’re more than welcome :) Redbalifrog beads are just stunning so I know you’ll love these :)

A little naughty that they increased the price but as you said, no tax or shipping soooo… plus Redbalifrog are incredibly good value for money in the first place :)

I hope they arrive quickly :)

      Kind Regards
      Victoria

  7. Joanne Balestrieri

Hi, Victoria! Thanks for the heads up re: Redbalifrog retirement. I do not own any Redbalifrog yet, but the panda is so cute that I may look for it. I finally saw a Crane bead in person and really loved the design. However, when the SA put it on a rod, it turned upside down! How disappointing! Is there any way to keep this bead upright while wearing it? I was interested in it as a poor person’s version of the Trollbead Crane, but was totally bummed to see this lovely bead twist downward! Any suggestions?

    • endangeredtrolls

      Hi Joanne :)

I have the Redbalifrog retired Panda and he’s very cute. It’s easy to see he’s an early design though as he’s quite simplistic compared to Amanda’s recent releases. Lovely but worth keeping in mind :)

You are correct that the Crane spins, my only suggested solution for this would be to wear it on a bangle and pin it in between two silver stoppers. This should hold it tightly in place. On a bracelet I think there is very little you could do to solve this :(

      Kind Regards
      Victoria
