Redbalifrog Halloween Bracelet Inspiration

This Redbalifrog blog article brings a little inspiration with my 2015 Redbalifrog Halloween bracelet.

Earlier today saw the very exciting announcement of the Redbalifrog Halloween promotion. It’s the first time the brand have offered any kind of promotion so offers an ideal opportunity for collectors to blitz their wishlists.

To coincide with the news I decided to revisit some of the Redbalifrog Halloween beads and whip together a spooky bracelet for the holiday.

Redbalifrog Halloween Bracelet

Redbalifrog have some amazing designs that are perfect for Halloween bracelets. I’ve been dabbling with various colour schemes this year but arguably orange and black is the most traditional. For this bracelet I’ve used all Redbalifrog silver beads and an assortment of glass from Trollbeads and Elfbeads. Do remember that if you’re unsure of any of the beads used, there’s an index at the end of the article.

Redbalifrog Halloween Bracelet Summary

I was actually a little spoiled for choice when it came to selecting silver beads for this bracelet but I love the end result. It mixed some of the classic charms such as the Redbalifrog Jack O’ Lantern and Hanging Bat with newer designs like the Redbalifrog Book of Spells and Jackalope.

As always I love to hear from my readers. What are your thoughts on my Redbalifrog Halloween bracelet? Will you be participating in the promotion? Hit the comments and let me know!

what a wonderful bracelet! it just shows how well all the brands go together . I wish a retailer near me would pick up Redbalifrog. Unfortunately i think they are “done” with beads. The last two Trollbeads dealers have just announced that they will no carry them.
    🙁

Oh what a shame 🙁 Where abouts are you? It seems we’re getting a lot of new concept stores both in the US, UK and Denmark at the moment!

Yes, we just got a concept store in the Mall. (central NJ) And that’s the main reason the retailers gave for giving TB up. And i had hoped that it would create more interest and new collectors to ultimately help the smaller stores. I guess a few controlled stores are easier to manage/train/supply than a bunch of little ones.

There’s a lot of advantages to concept stores I think. Trollbeads can completely control how the store looks, how the products are presented, how well the staff know the brand. So often I used to wander into stores over here where the Trollbeads displays were full of really dirty silvers and then opposite would be a stunningly shiny Pandora display. Someone buying themselves a new bead shouldn’t have to go home and polish it. They should feel like they just purchased jewellery.

There are arguments both for and against concept stores of course 🙁

So far I am looking at, book of spells, tree frog, the new dragon still in his egg and then I can’t decide out of the snake, gypsy or feathers of love.

I never liked the Trollbeads trick or treat glass and I just looked at one of your photos and thought ‘thats a lovely bead’ now I am wanting one 🙂

    • endangeredtrolls

Book of Spells is one of my favourite silvers from the brand now and the new Dragon Hatchling is lovely – it has some great texturing down the rear particularly 😀

I’m still hoping to get a second Trick or Treat before they vanish but with all of the Christmas releases looming, who knows! 🙁

I love your design! I really like the traditional orange and black for Halloween and yet your combination is still unexpected. I am so grateful for your blog – it just makes every day better!

    • endangeredtrolls

Orange and black is definitely the classic for Halloween I think 🙂 I try to experiment with a lot of different ideas because this is a blog and variation is needed but I think many will be wearing orange and black on their own bracelets 😀

Thank you for your kind words Elise 🙂

    Lovely Halloween bracelet Victoria! 😀

It’s exciting RBF is running this promo! I actually just ordered a couple RBF from Perlen last week (pomegranate and dragon hatchling) my first purchase from Perlen and waiting for them to arrive! I still got a better deal than the usual full price (with the VAT deduction since I’m shipping to US) so I’m happy 🙂

    • endangeredtrolls

So pleased you like it 🙂 It’s always fun to dig into slightly older beads and then combine them with new releases. Honestly Redbalifrog’s prices are always so reasonable. There’s been a single price increase in all the time I’ve been collecting and that was only because Amanda wanted to pay her Balinese silversmith more!

I got my 2 beads, love them! They came so fast from Denmark, it only took a week which is as fast or faster than me ordering things in the US in most cases.

Now I took another look at RBF, and I’m probably going to have to order 4 beads 😉 come this Friday…finalizing my list.

I remember you saying that about the price increase, Amanda sounds like a lovely generous lady 🙂
