For spring 2019 we wanted something altogether lighter for the season. The Redbalifrog Green Goddess is limited to three hundred (300) pieces and will retail at $44. The official launch date is Friday May the 3rd but for those shopping online, the exact release schedules and times will be confirmed closer to the date.

The event is falling just a couple of days after May Day or Beltane as it’s known in the Pagan calendar. The festival marks the midway point between the spring equinox and the summer solstice. The Green Man is a prominent figure during Beltane celebrations and eventually takes the form of the Holly King later in the year. Did you he loves a Goddess? For spring 2019 we’re proudly introducing the Redbalifrog Green Goddess, exclusive to Great Lakes Boutique.

Obviously she’s designed to complement the existing Redbalifrog Green Man and Holly Man beads and she’ll be presented in her own exclusive packaging. For those of you wishing to shop this series, you can find the existing beads at the link below:-

Redbalifrog Green Goddess Summary

The Green Man and Holly Man are amongst my absolute favourite Redbalifrog beads and they feature so frequently on any of my designs that have an underlying nature theme. I’m not alone with this and these designs are so popular with our customers so we were keen to see the theme continued. Amanda is well known for her details but I’ve always felt her nature inspired designs are some of her absolute best. The Green Goddess is just such a lovely addition.

Remember for those of you debating attending the event in person, Nick Bazarow will be our guest for the entire weekend. It’s a very special opportunity to gain a little insight into Redbalifrog. For those of you online, ahead of the event I will be opening up submissions for people wanting to ask Nick a particular question. At some point during the event I’ll do a little live streaming and get all of those answered for you.

Though it was a wonderfully pleasant surprise for us, the Ohm Beads Leaf Life Bead of the Month is going to look amazing with the Greed Goddess. We now have fewer than ten left on our website so if you have yet to pre-order yours, you can find it here.

For now I love hearing your opinions. What are your thoughts on the Redbalifrog Green Goddess? Hit the comments and let me know!

I love it. Will have to get Green man and Holly man also, to go with it.

Those two and the Pine Cone are my most worn Redbalifrog beads ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. Mary

Oh no. This is a huge disappointment. I always feel somewhat bad for leaving negative comments, but I really dislike and actually cringe when I see disembodied heads. Why not make a full body? Redbalifrogโ€™s beads are large enough to incorporate a lot of detail. Perhaps this is a weirdness on my part.

      Hi ๐Ÿ™‚

It was to keep her consistent with the Green Man and Holly Man ๐Ÿ™‚ But it’s fine. Not everyone is going to like all of the beads ๐Ÿ™‚

  3. Veroniek

She is beautiful! I hope I will have a chance to buy one online, but I will not “hunt” for it. Event beads always cause so much stress ๐Ÿ™

    • endangeredtrolls

I’m sorry to hear that. Both OhmMyGod 4 and the Green Goddess will be online at various points during the weekend ๐Ÿ™‚

  4. Paula

I think it is a very cool bead and very detailed, but you know me, I was hoping for an animal bead of some sort.

I’m sorry ๐Ÿ™‚ There’s lots of other animal designs in the Redbalifrog collection though ๐Ÿ™‚

  5. Katie

I love the bead. I have the other two beads and she would be a wonderful addition. I use Green Man all of the time, but I find that Holly Man has a more limited time for wearing. She would be beautiful all year long. Hopefully, I will be able to purchase one. She is lovely.

    • endangeredtrolls

I definitely use Green Man more too so I understand you. Hopefully the Green Goddess will prove as versatile for us both ๐Ÿ˜‰
