Redbalifrog A Queen’s Wish Debuts

This Redbalifrog blog celebrates the launch of the Redbalifrog A Queen’s Wish collection with a complete preview of this new release

Today sees the global launch of the Redbalifrog A Queen’s Wish collection and this is part one of the wider Redbalifrog Once Upon a Kingdom series. I love the idea of a collection spanning multiple smaller series’. Obviously with no previews for Redbalifrog this is the first look at the new collection. For those keen to shop you can do so with Great Lake Boutique via the link below and please do note these beads will not be part of the Redbalifrog buy three get one free during Bead Bash on the Lake (and arguably shopping before the event is a good idea as your order won’t get caught up in event mail traffic.)

Redbalifrog A Queen’s Wish

A Kingdoms strength lies in its Dynasty. The Crowns are passed to heirs through the ages, these are the stories that will forever be told and remembered.

Amanda has stated before on social media that she is a huge fan of Game of Thrones and I suspect the underlying themes have strongly influenced this collection. It’s a story of Queen’s and thrones, with perhaps a little magic thrown in. We’re welcoming five new pieces, one of which is a pendant.

The new Redbalifrog Owl Messenger pendant retails at $116. The vibe of this piece is totally different to the Redbalifrog Snowy Owl that debuted for winter.

With her since birth, the bond between the Queen and her Owl is like no other. Her trust lies solely with the Owl to deliver her most important and secret of messages.

The first of the new beads is the Redbalifrog Queen Athena, retailing at $44. There is some impressive detailing on this bead, particularly on the rear of the bead where you can see her hair.

The protection of an entire Kingdom weighs heavy on the Queen’s shoulders, with no King by her side, she must rise to the occasion. She is strong, she is loved and she is wise.

Next is the Redbalifrog Queens Monogram, retailing at $33. Pay attention to the brick detailing around the sides, reminiscent of a castle tower.

Every Kingdom has a crown, recognised, respected, feared and honoured by both friend and foe.

Next comes the Redbalifrog Queens Gargoyle Watcher, retailing at $44. Those familiar with Redbalifrog know there is already the gothic gargoyle within the collection but this bead is very different. For one thing it’s cored in such a way that you’ll see those amazing wings.

Stone by day, creature by night. The Queen must be protected at all times. Every Kingdom has a castle, and every castle has a watcher.

The final piece is the new Redbalifrog Sword in Stone so anyone who loves Arthurian legend should adore this piece. It’s retailing at $37.

Placed by the black magic of an ancient sorcerer, this sword has held fast for generations. The story long lost over time, it awaits its release by the chosen one that will bring balance back to the Kingdom.

Redbalifrog A Queen’s Wish Summary

This is an amazing release from Redbalifrog and it builds on an existing theme within the brand, that of myth and legend, fantasy and magic. There are so many beads already available that can help flesh out a bracelet until part II debuts. You can even consider the Dragon Lock to keep the bracelet completely on theme (and it’s such an amazing lock anyway.)

As always I love to hear from my readers. What are your thoughts on the Redbalifrog A Queen’s Wish collection? Hit the comments and let me know!

I love it. Plenty of ideas rolling my head right now😄

  2. Judy

Omigosh, I love that owl pendant! The way it clutches the black onyx orb is perfect. I can see it layered with silver chains or a single black Tahitian pearl. Do you have a measurement for the length Victoria?

The gargoyle bead is going to the top of my gargoyle-want list. The curl of the gargoyle’s horns is a hoot.

But what I want most of all is Queen Athena’s hair.

    Well done Amanda!
