Today sees the official debut of the Pandora Valentine’s Day 2014 collection. In celebration of the new release, this Pandora jewellery blog article brings a complete preview of this romantic series.
While the Pandora Valentine’s Day 2014 collection appeared in some stores at the start of January, the official global launch is next week. Suitably the collection is underpinned with hearts and romantic motifs and characterised with pink sparkle. I’ve heard mixed opinions from some collectors but I believe some of the designs are utterly exquisite. What follows is a complete preview of the Pandora Valentine’s Day 2014 release. Please note that as per my agreement with Pandora I don’t generally show pre-release stock images any further. Permission for an early preview kindly came from the brand themselves. At present I only have the retail prices for the US market but it does offer an indication for other regions at least.
Pandora Valentine’s Day 2014 Charms
I’ll admit that when I first saw the early leaked images, the Pandora Figure Skater charm confused me. I assumed that perhaps it comprised part of the Pandora Spring 2014 release and the image had been mixed in by mistake. Nevertheless it’s debuting as part of the Valentine’s Day 2014 release and considering Pandora’s support for the sport, it’s an incredibly apt piece. The Pandora Figure Skater has a recommended retail price of $35.
The Pandora Love Note is my favourite piece from this new release. I adore the design which boasts a good degree of detailing. The charm opens out like a greeting card and I adore the carved rose hanger. The Pandora Love Note will retail at $50.
My second favourite from the collection is the Pandora Gift from the Heart. This is somewhat reminiscent of the upcoming Pandora Club 2014 Charm with it’s reticulated lid on a miniature jewellery box. Inside nestles a tiny gold engagement ring, making it a perfect gift for those planning to propose on Valentine’s Day. The Pandora Gift from the Heart will retail at $65.
Remaining with the duo-tone charms comes the Pandora Cupid with his gold tipped arrow. It’s worth noting that in the US market, this charm is distributed exclusively through the Jared’s chain.
Of the final three dangle charms comes the Pandora Love, You & Me and the Pandora Interlocking Love. It’s worth mentioning that Interlocking Love is a concept store exclusive in the USA. For the rest of the world, the charm should be available via any authorised retailer. You & Me is reminiscent of the Mother & Son and Mother & Daughter charms that have preceded it. In contrast to the aforementioned charms. The Pandora Interlocking Love retails at $50, the Love Dangle at $45 and the You & Me at $75.
No Valentine’s release would be complete without a splash of pink. The Pandora Shimmering Heart is among my favourites. It will make a stunning complement to the existing pavé charms but with additional pink heart detailing. The Pandora Shimmering Heart has a recommended retail price of $70.
The Pandora Love is All Around will team beautifully with the Shimmering Heart but ideal for those that love the pink but perhaps not the pavé. Love is All Around will retail at $65.
The Pandora Space in My Heart pink spacer will also complement the above two charms. For those who avoid pink, it debuts with clear zirconia also. The Pandora Space in my Heart retail at $35.
The Pandora Surrounded by Love boasts delicate violet stones, spelling out love across the circumference of the charm. Surrounded by Love has a recommended retail price of $55.
Finally the Pandora Sparkle of Love is an updated version of the familiar Pandora puffy heart charm. It’s adorned with tiny cubic zirconia, offering a touch more sparkle. In the USA this charm is sold exclusively as part of a bracelet gift set. In the UK proceeds from this charm will be donated to the British Heart Foundation. Here it has a recommended retail price of £45.
Pandora Valentine’s Day 2014 Jewellery
In addition to the charms comes a selection of new jewellery pieces.
The Pandora One Love rings debut with pink, red or clear cubic zirconia. These rings retail at $45.
The Pandora Twist of Fate ring boasts an interlocking band design. This will make a beautiful Valentine’s Day gift for those wishing to represent interlocking lives. Twist of Fate has a recommended retail price of $135.
The Pandora Love Locket has a very simple exterior but opens to unveil a tiny dangling heart nestled inside. It has a retail price of $150.
Finally the new Pandora Pavé Heart Bracelet is a beautiful option for stacking with a traditional charm bracelet. Unfortunately I don’t yet have a stock image for this bracelet so apologies for the quality of the image below.

Pandora Valentine’s Day 2014 Summary
I think the Pandora Valentine’s Day 2014 collection is a predictably pretty release from Pandora. I’d like to stress that I don’t mean predictable in a bad way, rather they’ve embodied everything I would expect from such a release. There’s a good dash of sparkle, lots of pink and everything is underpinned by hearts and flowers. Many of the pieces will not look strange beyond Valentine’s Day either and in that sense they’ve delivered versatility as well as seasonal themes. I’ll admit I’m struggling to decide precisely what I want from this release, though I’m erring towards the Valentine’s Note.
For those curious regarding the gift sets, I’ll detail those more next week when the collection debuts.
