Pandora Spring 2013 Preview – Cherry Blossoms, Romance & Fairy Tales

This jewellery blog article offers an in depth preview of the first part of the Pandora spring 2013 collection, characterised by cherry blossoms, fairy tales and airs of romance. High resolution images, product codes and prices are included where possible.

The Pandora Spring 2013 collection has been split into two distinct releases. The first part, which is being previewed here, is set to see it’s initial launch in the US and Canadian market on March the 15th. There’s no current confirmation of an exact UK and EU release but I’m guessing it to be around the same date. The UK is, however, set to receive the Pandora Mother’s Day 2013 collection on the 22nd of February, far earlier than any other market and thanks to it’s early celebration of Mothering Sunday.

The Pandora summer 2013 collection seems likely to make it’s initial appearance in June.

The first part of the Pandora collection is characterised by cherry blossoms, fairy tales and airs of romance in typical spring like style. In addition and showing a continuation on a popular theme come more new pavé designs. Please note the product names as those featured for the American market. As is often the case, the UK market may feature entirely different names (or none at all.) Product codes are included throughout for the sake of clarity.

Over the past few weeks Pandora have hosted a number of presentations in particular markets where select members of the press and bloggers were invited. Live images in this article have been provided by Fashion Tweed and Stereotypically Me.

Pandora Spring 2013 Fairy Tales

This series offers the most appeal for me. Many regular readers already know of my love for fairy tales and nursery rhymes so there’s little wonder at the appeal.

The first charm is the new Once Upon a Time and this charm was gifted on a starter bracelet to the bloggers that attended one recent unveiling in Germany (pictures of this at the end.) This charm has a recommended retail price of £30 or $40.

This charm was gifted to the bloggers attending the Pandora blogger’s lunch in Vienna, complete with a silver barrel clasp chain. The image below was kindly provided by Stereotypically Me.

The second of the themed charms is the duo-tone Song Bird and a second “must have” for me. Aside from the actual theme, this charm appears to boast a lot of detailing. It’s slated for a retail price of £50 or $65.

The third charm is the Enchanted Mouse which is highly suggestive of the Mad Hatter’s Tea Party in Alice in Wonderland (coincidentally a story I adore!) This charm has a recommended retail price of £30 or $40.

The Frog Prince charm is another duo-tone addition to the collection featuring a cute frog with a gold crown. This charm will retail at £55 or $95.

The Easter Bunny charm comes complete with a bag of eggs on his back and makes a perfect addition to a holiday bracelet. This cute little charm will retail at £30 or $40.

The charm below is My Princess (which is also printed around the hanger in beautiful script.) The charm contains a subtle cubic zirconia to add just a hint of sparkle and I suspect this will be a must have for many of the lovers of the Pandora crown charm (which includes myself!) This charm has a recommended retail price of £40 or $45

The Happily Ever After makes up the final fairy tale themed charm and sees yet another duo tone design. This is another “must have” for me and it’s set to retail at £65 or $75.

Aside from the charms, a number of other jewellery items fall into the fairy tale series for spring 2013. For the Pandora Christmas 2012 collection, the stunning Crown charm made it’s debut. In light of it’s popularity, Pandora are releasing a crown pendant and stud earrings also. Both are silver but feature clear cubic zirconia detailing. The pendant will retail at £85 or $95 and the stud earrings at £35 or $45.

Next comes a new concept in modular earring design featuring earring hoops with freshwater pearl detailing and pendants to hold pavé charms. The hoops themselves cost £15, the pendant cost a further £10 and then finally comes the cost of the pavé charm of choice.

A new pavé charm launches with the first part of the Pandora spring collection and these seem designed to work with the new earring concept. The charm is available in three initial colour options; clear, black or pink and will retail at £45 or $55. In the US market it will be marketed as the Pandora Leading Lady charms.

Also part of the fairy tale series comes new rings. The first, pictured below, boasts a lattice style design with sparkling cubic zirconia and is set to retail at £50.

Pandora Spring 2013

Both the following rings are designed to be a compliment to the My Princess charm. The first ring features the same focal detail of the charm and is set to retail at £40 or $50.

Pandora Spring 2013

The second ring featured below lacks the focal feature but more than makes up for this with additional cubic zirconia spanning the entire ring. The latter ring is set to retail at £55 or $65.

Stereotypically Me captured a lovely image of the new rings, shown below.

Also debuting with the spring collection are fairy tale themed earrings. The first pair of earrings and by far my favourite feature the same design from the My Princess charm and transfers it into an intricate stud earring. These have a recommended retail price of £35 or $45.

Pandora Spring 2013

The second pair are slightly more traditional looking featured a rose coloured fresh water pearl. These earrings will retail at £40 or $50. The same tiara detailing is apparent on the actual hanger.

Pandora Spring 2013 Cherry Blossoms

A mini series of cherry blossom themed charms are also making an appearance with this collection. These boast beautiful and characteristically soft pink tones with silver, glass and enamel all represented. Once again in addition to charms come a number of other jewellery pieces.

The new Pandora Cherry Blossom clip is incredibly pretty with it’s pastel enamel detailing. It’s set to retail at £45 or $55 and despite my general dislike of florals, I adore this new piece. For reference a gold version of this design is available as a charm rather than a clip. I don’t have a decent high definition image of it but it will retail at £299.

Pandora Spring 2013

A new Cherry Blossom murano is also making it’s appearance. Again while florals never tend to appeal to me, most especially glass floral beads, I can’t help but be enchanted by the beautiful soft tone of pink in this glass. It most definitely shows a continued improvement in the standard of Pandora glass charms. It has a recommended retail price of £30 or $35.

As mentioned, a number of miscellaneous cherry blossom themed jewellery pieces are appearing with this collection. First come two pairs of earrings, one stud, one modular, both retailing at £35 or $45.

The stud earrings shown immediately below will also be available in gold but again I lack a decent image. These will retail at £165.

A complimentary pendant is also available pictured below and will retail at £35.

Two new rings are also set to debut, one quite a slender and succinct design while the other is a large and focal creation that will be perfect for summer. The smaller ring will retail at £35. The larger version has a recommended retail price of £65.

There’s also a clear pavé charm featuring a pink cherry blossom design set to launch but this appears likely to make the Pandora summer collection as opposed to the spring.

Pandora Spring 2013 Romance and Bridal

The next theme running through the Pandora spring 2013 collection is that of romance. Here we see new charms, new glass, new earrings and new rings.

First for the preview is the new Pandora Pink Ribbon of Hope charm featuring delicate strands of pink glass encased in an otherwise clear bead. It’s aptly named a perfect soft pink to reinforce the bridal theme. This charm has a recommended retail price of £30 or $35.

The first of the new charms making their debut as part of this theme is the Her Majesty spacer with cubic zirconia detailing. This spacer will retail at £25 or $40.

Pandora Spring 2013

Next comes the adorably cute Mr & Mrs charm which has an undoubted popularity for those wishing to commemorate their big day. This charm has a recommended retail price of £30 or $40.

Pandora Spring 2013

Image by Pandora – Please Do Not Reproduce Without Crediting

The next two charms are both dangle style and also my favourites from within this theme. First is the Bouquet Dangle charm boasting beautiful pink enamel detailing and set to retail at £40. This charm would be perfect for brides-to-be to gift their bridesmaids and maids of honour. Around the hanger is printed the word “celebration” showing further attention to detail.

Pandora Spring 2013

Image by Pandora – Please Do Not Reproduce Without Crediting

There is one final murano charm that seems to fit this mini series perfectly. The Red Sweethearts charm has a recommended retail price of £30 or $35 and I’m incredibly surprised that Pandora didn’t attempt to launch this to coincide with Valentine’s Day.

Pandora Spring 2013

Finally a new silver safety chain makes it’s debut. The Love Connection chain is simple but adorable and is set to retail at £30 or $40.

Pandora Spring 2013

Pandora Spring 2013 Garden Theme

The first of the garden themed charms is Sweet Strawberry, a vibrant red charm thanks to it’s enamel details. This charm will retail at £40 or $50

Pandora Spring 2013

The Cherry Clip boasts the same enamel detailing but with a cherry design and is set to retail at £35 or $45.

Pandora Spring 2013

The final silver garden theme charm is the cute and traditional My Garden and has a recommended retail price of £30 or $40.

Pandora Spring 2013

It’s worth noting that there is also a gold Butterlies charm in the popular open works style making it’s debut but at present I only have fuzzy low quality images of this. It’s set to retail at £269.

Pandora Spring 2013 Animal Charms

Three new cute animal charms make their debut.

First is the new Lucky Elephant charm with a retail price of £30 or $45.

Pandora Spring 2013

Image by Pandora – Please Do Not Reproduce Without Crediting

The next is the new Purrfect Together charm which actually looks to be incredibly detailed. Certainly given that the current feline population of my household is four, I feel rather obliged to indulge in this. It’s recommended retail price is £30 or $45.

Pandora Spring 2013

The last of the new animal charms is Scottie with again looks quite a detailed creation. It has a recommended retail price of £30 or $45.

Pandora Spring 2013 Passion

Four new passion charm designs are making an appearance for the spring release.

First comes Sheer Perfect and what a sweet ode to the hair dressing profession. This is a charm I’ve seen requested many times so I’m sure this will delight quite a few Pandora collectors. This charm has a recommended retail price of £25 or $35.

Pandora Spring 2013

Next and a similar ode to the beauty profession is Lovely Locks. This charm is also set to retail at £25 or $35.

Pandora Spring 2013

The next charm in this mini series is Cheerleader and I apologise for the vile fuzzy image of this. It’s set to retail at £25 or $35.

Pandora Spring 2013

Image by Pandora – Please Do Not Reproduce Without Crediting

Finally comes Hearts Aflutter, the most elegant of the passion charms in my opinion.

Pandora Spring 2013

Pandora Spring 2013 Murano Dangles

Unfortunately I don’t have high resolution images of these charms and this is such a shame as I suspect they’re stunning. They’re highly reminiscent of the Trollbeads limited edition Troll Stones and incredibly apt for both Easter and spring in general. They have a recommended retail price of £35 or $45.

Pandora Spring 2013 Summary

This collection was initially leaked months ago but the images were small and grainy and frankly did very little justice to this release. While not everything is to my personal tastes I can appreciate that many of these charms will have massive appeal. I also happen to think areas of this release are absolutely incredible. A number of the new fairy tale themed charms are absolute must haves for me.

I have now seen the entire Pandora summer release and it’s the first Pandora release I’m been ridiculously excited about in quite some time (probably since Nostalgic Rock launched in fact. The summer collection features new bracelet options including a silver bangle and some exquisite triple wrap bracelets in a beautiful array of colours. The Pandora National Icon charms collection sees a revival and there’s a strong beach and travel theme underpinning the entire release.

To reiterate, the Pandora spring 2013 collection is set to launch in the US and Canadian market on March the 15th. The UK and European release has no specific day yet but it should be around this point. The Pandora Mother’s Day 2013 collection will initially launch in the UK on February the 22nd so there’s under two weeks wait for the UK collectors.

As always I’d love to hear feedback on the Pandora spring 2013 collection in light of the far superior high quality images now available, as my initial preview featured quite poor leaked images.

Thanks for the review Victoria. This line is, in general, just too cute for my taste. I do like the dangle Murano glass though.

    • endangeredtrolls

I also like the dangle :D I think that must be our Troll sides speaking ;)

I really love the fairy tale themed charms I admit but generally I’m not hugely into flowery things. There are some lovely pieces in the summer collection and while I do have images, I’m a little hesitant to publish them. While I’m assuming these are “ok” based on the fact many bloggers and press have now seen official reviews, I think the summer collection might be too far away for the images to be safely published.

This annoys me no end as there is some exquisite glass work in the collection and I think even the Trollbeads collectors might be a little shocked as to how pretty it is. There’s also some sea and beach themed silvers that would compliment the Trollbeads spring release beautifully. Already I’ve created a quite sizable “must have” list which I’ve not done with Pandora since Nostalgic Rock back in 2011… Indeed Pandora have just won an award for their summer collection and I think people will understand why once the high resolution images emerge :)

      Kind Regards
      Victoria

    • Nathalie

      Oooooh, I want them all!
Seriously, got a crush for the Song bird, Enchanted mouse-so cuuuute-, My Garden and the Cherry blossom large ring.
Can’t wait to grab one of them… or may be 2, or 3…
Thanks for this review dear. :)

      • endangeredtrolls

        Hi Nathalie :)

Welcome to my blog and thank you for commenting!

I also adore the Song Bird and can’t wait to see that! :D

Just a few more weeks to wait and these should start to appear in stores :D Once they do, I’m hoping to lay my hands on the release and take lots of photographs and offer individual reviews of each to help you decide, so be sure to stick around :D

        Kind Regards
        Victoria

  2. pandyfan

Thanks for the in-depth review! I am a new collector and anxiously await any news. I have seen a little of the summer collection and it is beautiful!!

    • endangeredtrolls

      Hi :)

Welcome to the blog and you’re more than welcome for the preview :)

Are you planning on buying any of the spring charms? Or perhaps hoping for anything for Valentine’s Day? ;)

      Kind Regards
      Victoria

      • pandyfan

Already received what I am considering my “Valentine’s gift”- the clip with the braided gold hearts and the heart of gold charm. I am returning the clip though, as for me, the unadorned sides are too tall…if that makes any sense. I wish it was flatter so you could see the gold hearts more! Anyways, I will be exchanging for the friendship clip instead.

For the spring collection, I am considering the scottie dog and the princess ring. But often items look so different once you see them in person and you buy what you never considered!

        • pandyfan

Oh!! And I am getting the two-tone bear for sure, I suppose that is part of the spring collection too. ;)

          • endangeredtrolls

Are you in the UK? If so not long to wait for that :D I think lots of people will want him since he’s marked limited edition ;)

I’m hoping to be able to offer reviews and my own images of all the Pandora Mother’s Day release shortly after it’s UK release on the 22nd of this month.

            Kind Regards
            Victoria

        • endangeredtrolls

The rings are lovely aren’t they?

The fairy tale charms are on my “must have” list I think :D Particularly the Songbird, Once Upon a Time book and Happily Ever After castle :D

I’m very jealous of your heart of gold charm though I must admit!!

I totally understand what you mean about them being different in person. So many times I’ve decided a list of what I want and then I see some charms I’d never considered but must have ;)

          Kind Regards
          Victoria

          • pandyfan

I am in the US. :)

          • endangeredtrolls

Ah ok so a little longer to wait on the Mother’s Day charms. Be sure to stick around the blog because I should be able to offer reviews and my own images to at least give you all a better idea of which charms you really want :D Hopefully they’ll start around the 22nd of February :)

            Kind Regards
            Victoria

  3. Jennifer Wr

Wow, there are several items I will be putting on my wish list! I knew that I would like several of the Fairy Tale themed charms (castle, frog, mouse in teacup :) ), but I am surprised at how much I like some of the rings and earrings. And I will be excited to see the new spacer, it looks like it would be a great addition to a bracelet I have that still has quite a bit of room on it.

One thing that puzzles me – when the photos were first leaked, I could see that the mouse has a “be mine” banner, similar to a Valentine’s day candy. So I thought it would be released for Valentine’s. But I also viewed it in a fairy tale context, to go with the silver apple, and the new castle. :)

But I have to say that I wish the tiara did not say “my” princess, as the rebel in me finds it offensive for some reason :), and I think it is too limiting for the purchaser…

That said, I love the ring!

    • endangeredtrolls

I’m also wanting to overdose on the fairy tale charms too :D I liked the leaked images but now they’re in high resolution I’m utterly coveting them ;)

I completely agree with you regarding the mouse, also the new heart murano… I can’t believe they didn’t launch that for Valentine’s Day. Of course, there could be some logistical issues we’re not yet aware of but still.

I never considered the issue with the tiara but you’re correct and I can see where you’re coming from. It’s not really a charm you can buy for yourself I feel :( Maybe if you were representing a daughter perhaps?

The Pandora summer 2013 collection is *stunning*. There’s some exquisite new sea themed glass and silver beads. Also holiday themed charms. I do like the spring release (and as said, those fairy tales are must haves) but the summer release is even nicer ;)

      Kind Regards
      Victoria

    • Debbie

Hi Jennifer, I was thinking about you earlier when hearing the news about the Weather in the US – hope you’re ok and stay warm :-)

      • endangeredtrolls

I spoke to her a little earlier. The weather is vile it seems but she has electricity so she’s still got her heating :D

      • Jennifer Wr

Thank you Debbie! We did well here, we never lost our electricity so it stayed warm. I feel very lucky!

        • Jennifer Wr

Yes, Victoria, it is vile out there! :)

          • endangeredtrolls

I saw a little on the news earlier and it did look dreadful :( I’m suddenly feeling quite smug as while we have snow here at the moment, it’s no where near blizzard conditions thankfully!

  4. Debbie

Oh my, there’s a lot to like in this release, and I am in BIG trouble with the summer release by the sounds of things ;-)

I love all the fairy tale charms, and I like the open work pave charms. The glass dangles look interesting, so looking forward to seeing them in real life.

I will even admit to liking the cherry blossom clip :-) , but the flowery glass is still yuk!

Thanks Victoria for another of your fabulous previews packed full with so much useful information.

    • endangeredtrolls

Yeah the flowery glass isn’t doing much for me either :( But I’m also liking the cherry blossom clip! I think it’s quite a nice contrast between the pink and silver?

The fairy tale charms are just divine aren’t they? I love that Once Upon a Time book :D It’s been quite some time since I bought much Pandora and I’m suddenly quite enthused again :D

      Hope you’re well :)

  5. Debbie

I’m fine thanks for asking :-)

I’ve always wanted a fairy tale bracelet but could never find charms I liked enough to put on it, and then Pandora go and bring out a whole collection where I love it all. There are also a few in the Ohm collection that I really want – the Blackbird pie one for starters :-)

I know what you mean about Pandora – I bought very little during 2012. I think I am going to be a regular visitor at my local concept store once they get their spring/summer stock in.

Thank goodness it will be June before the Pandora Summer launch, as that will give the bead fund a bit of time to replenish itself after the onslaught of the Trollbeads / byBiehl / Redbalifrog releases!

    • endangeredtrolls

The summer information I’ve received definitely says June so even if the UK receive it slightly earlier I can’t imagine it being much before week 3 and 4 of May. Hopefully by then many of the spring releases will have been dealt with ;)

I have the same feeling with a fairy tale bracelet. I keep attempting one but nothing quite works how I want it to :( I’m hoping these charms will finally be the solution and yes! We can use the blackbird pie on there! :D

I’m still sat waiting ByBiehl spring news…

      p.s. I dropped you an email ;)

    • Jennifer Wr

I also have a few beads that were purchased with the ultimate intent of a fairy tale bracelet too, Debbie, but there just weren’t enough to complete it yet. (Such as the silver apple, and the light blue looking glass bead for Alice’s dress, etc.) Now it looks like we will be in good shape with this release! :)

      • endangeredtrolls

Oh I love the idea of going with a pale blue theme.

I have another vague idea brewing but I have NO idea how to execute it really…

Oz the Great and Powerful is released next month. Even OPI are launching a new range to celebrate it. It’s by far my favourite childhood movie – I was obsessed with it when I was young.

Any ideas ladies? So far I didn’t get much further than the Pandora witch charm :<

      • Debbie

I am so glad to hear you’re ok Jennifer :-) Looks like that’s a dreadful storm and dumping a heck of a lot of snow on you :-(

I am feeling really enthused to start a fairy tale bracelet now, and whilst light blue sounds fabulous I am really tempted to go for girly pink :-)

        • Jennifer Wr

          Thank you Debbie :)

  6. Debbie

Sorry to be dim, but are we talking Wizard of Oz type charms here Victoria?

    • endangeredtrolls

Yes indeed, or anything suitably representative of the story. There’s a certain hot air balloon charm in the summer collection that I think would be nice.. and the Pandora witch for the wicked witch of the west…. I guess the Scottie dog could do ToTo?

  7. Debbie

OK, so we need a Lion – the trollbeads one is the best lion I have seen.

Not sure where we find a scarecrow, although you could add a couple of Frightlings and have Scarlet Witchling and Oatus Scareling I suppose. And Viktoria Vampling could be Dorothy, as it is your namesake!

For the ruby slippers, Ohm do some nice red pave charms, and lovelinks do as well. Ohm and Lovelinks both have shoe charms, but no red ones I don’t think.

Ohm do some hot air balloons as well.

What colour glass were you thinking of? We’ve got to have something to represent the Emerald City and the Yellow Brick Road, and perhaps the ruby slippers.

Ohm do a wizard hat, and a Wizard, either of those could represent the Wizard of Oz? OHm also do a good witch and her cat.

Hmmmm, I will keep thinking, but those are my ideas so far…….

    • endangeredtrolls

Well you’ve had far better ideas than me so far!

I have the Trollbeads lion and I love the idea of using Viktoria ;) Oatus Scareling had never crossed my mind either, I’m rather ashamed to say :(

I love the idea of using the Wizard Hat too. I actually wanted that for last Halloween but thanks to Danish import, it never made it :(

The glass is really problematic I think. Ruby red… yellow.. green… all so vibrant and perfect but rather stark colours to mix together! Unless I maybe made two bracelets..

I can’t wait for this movie to be released so I must have a bracelet to match it :D Thanks for your wonderful ideas!

      /hugs

      • Jeanne

For the green, yellow, and red beads you could use chakra beads from Troll. They have a unifying theme so they would look great together. I would also put the blue chakra bead in there to balance out the colors. One way to devise color schemes is to use color theory. Take a look at the web app called Color Scheme Designer (http://colorschemedesigner.com/#). Click the small Mono color wheel (at the top) then drag the point on the large color wheel to emerald green. Then click on the Complement color wheel at the top. Red is the complement of green, so now you have green and red. That works for the Oz theme. Now click on the small Tetrad color wheel at the top. You get yellow and blue, which are complements of each other. Yellow is also needed for an Oz theme, and I suppose a little blue never hurts, right? This app is intended for designing websites, but it works pretty well for other color needs. I hope to see a photo of your Oz bracelet when it’s done! I would like to make a bracelet for the upcoming Great Gatsby movie. Surely Daisy would have LOTS of beads!

        • Jeanne

About the chakra beads again, didn’t the Emerald City have lots of gold, too? Or is that my childhood imagination? The gold in the chakra beads would carry that theme through, or it could represent the Yellow Brick Road.

          • endangeredtrolls

I think it did – I think the two colours kind of ran into each other :) Either way, as you correctly pointed out, it makes for a great representation of the Yellow Brick Road (and the bracelet would be incomplete without that!)

I don’t suppose you have any equally fabulous suggestions for the Tin Man or the Scarecrow do you? ;)

            Your suggestions are fabulous!

        • endangeredtrolls

Wow Jeanne thank you! That’s really helpful :) I think I need to open my blog upto suggestions more often as my readers are proving to have a better imagination than I do :))

I will definitely share the bracelet when I finally create it. I think your idea of using Chakras is amazing as there will be some continuity despite the colour scheme.

I *love* your idea of a bracelet for the Great Gatsby movie – that’s another movie release I can’t wait for :D Be sure to keep me updated if you do make it as I’d love to hear or see the details :D

Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts :D

          Kind Regards
          Victoria

          • Jeanne

Hmmm, Tin Man and Scarecrow. I don’t know about those. Does Ohm have anything?

I am so antsy for Gatsby to come out! If you haven’t already, Like the “Bazmark – The Great Gatsby” Facebook page. That’s Baz Luhrmann’s production company that is doing the movie. There are tons of stills from the upcoming movie, trailers, and inspiration photos for the production design. Delicious!

I don’t have enough appropriate beads to build a Gatsby bracelet, but the thought of it makes me want to have a very serious shopping spree!

  8. Debbie

    You’re welcome.

Just another thought on the glass – the Ohm rivers series I think has all those colours, and having beads of a similar style may tie the colours together?

I remember seeing the original Wizard of Oz as a little girl and my Dad telling me the story of him seeing it at the Cinema, and when it first came out most films were black & white, and he was speechless when Dorothy landed on Oz to see the brilliant colours. He is nearly 77 now, and he still talks about that film and how amazing it was when it moved from B&W to colour.

So, to be true to the film, and although it may look yuk on a bracelet, its kind of a nice idea to have bright colours :-)

    • endangeredtrolls

Oh bless your dad! I can just imagine how thrilled he was :D

I think my poor dad’s memories of Wizard of Oz involve me wanting to watch it, on repeat, every single day. I had to have a Dorothy dress, Dorothy shoes.. a wand :D

Actually a couple of years ago I bought the most amazing pair of Ruby Slippers http://melnomundodamoda.files.wordpress.com/2010/12/rubyslipperplatform.png and I remember emailing my dad to tell him and show him the pictures. He couldn’t believe I’d bought them :D They’ve been sat in my wardrobe ever since waiting on this damn movie to be released! ;p

My mission to create a Wizard of Oz themed bracelet shall commence ;)

      /hugs

What great ideas for the Oz bracelet! :) I don’t know if this would work for you, but a couple of weeks ago I saw some trollbeads glass beads on the website of a US store that immediately made me think of the Wicked Witch. They are black and the weird shade of green of her skin, and I really liked them for a Halloween theme. She had five in stock, the last I saw, I have the link I can send you, but those bold colors may not be the way you wanted yo go! :)

        • Jennifer Wr

          To go, I meant, typo!

        • Jennifer Wr

Black and green stripes, together on the same bead. I wasn’t very clear on that!

        • endangeredtrolls

Trollshades! :D I just saw your PM and again I’d never considered these :) I’m so glad I asked you ladies for inspiration as you’ve thought up far more than I had :D

I think I used a green and black theme for a Halloween bracelet in 2011 and it was super nice :D

          Thanks Jennifer <3

  9. Debbie

Oh wow, amazing shoes! I love them :-)

I am looking forward to seeing this bracelet when it’s finished…. oh and you’ve got to show us the nail art that goes with it :-)

    /hugs

    • Jennifer Wr

I agree, they are fabulous shoes! :)

    • endangeredtrolls

I’ll see what I can come up with of course ;)

I don’t know if any of you noticed, but the Android version of the Pandora app shows part of the new collection. It has the codes, but no pricing. I was able to see the pink murano drop and the cherry blossom dangles, studs, pendants and rings. I don’t know about the iPhone version, but it probably shows these items as well.

    • endangeredtrolls

I checked the iphone app this morning but nothing here :( That said, I’m using the Danish version so perhaps it’s a regional issue? I’m going to uninstall it later and start from scratch and see if I can locate them ;)

Thank you so much for this! It’s so kind of you to comment and let us all know :)

Welcome to the blog :) I hope you stay :)

      Kind Regards
      Victoria

      • Marisela

Thank you! I am a Pandora fan and I really like coming here, not only to see what is coming next from them but also to view what other brands are doing. About the app, I am not in the US but I guess my app version is the American one. And I forgot to add something else: I was able to add several items from the new collection to my wishlist using the cellphone app, and when I logged on my computer I saw them there as well!

        • endangeredtrolls

Yay! It’s great to hear that they’re showing on the app and on the computers if you add them there first :D

I’m so glad you enjoy my blog. I also like to see and hear about what other brands are producing – even if I don’t personally collect them – I just like jewellery in general ;)

So kind of you to tell us that the wishlists are working!

          Kind Regards

Pandora needs to make more of a variety of safety chains. I think the new one for 2013, Love Connection is okay. It only reminds me of the safety chain they already have out but it’s silver and gold which I own that came out years ago. We need a bigger selection of safety chains, Pandora! Please? :)

There are too many charms above to list that I just got to have when they finally come out here in the US. My top fave is the adorable Scottie dog. My furry little guy, Toto looks just like the charm!! Can’t wait to see them all in person. :)

    • endangeredtrolls

I agree Ashley, the new chain isn’t original but I suspect it’s a nice option for those that can’t afford the duo tone. But yes, more chains please Pandora! Aside from their practical aspect, I think they’re a beautiful finishing touch to a bracelet :))

I was just considering whether I should get the Scottie dog to represent Toto on a Wizard of Oz themed bracelet for the new release and you have a real Toto! How cute! I can see how that’s a real must have for you :)) I think for the same reason I need the new kitty Purrfect Together charm :D

      Kind Regards

  12. Sam

Thanks for all the info Victoria – you’re the best!!
This is a huge release….The crown pendant is a must for me providing it lays ok when worn. I love the fairytale charms and will probably get a few of them over time. I was excited for a new safety chain (I agree with Ashley that we need more) but disappointed that it looks like a screw on so I won’t be purchasing it after all :(
The two tones look nice and if I ever take the plunge and do a two tone bracelet I would definitely get these….
But, more importantly I’m excited by your news of the summer collection, sounds just my thing and from what you said, I’m excited to see some detailed glass from Pandora!!
Oh yeah, and lastly I’m glad it’s not out until May/June… just enough time to save up then lol :)

    • endangeredtrolls

Another one coveting the fairy tale charms! It sounds like both myself and a few of my lovely readers will be wearing themed bracelets this year :))

Oh the summer release! It’s just divine! There seems a huge improvement in the quality of the Pandora glass and there’s a lot of vibrant enamel charms with a summer holiday theme. I understand that they’ve won an industry award for the summer release but I think it’s all being kept quiet as images aren’t permitted to be shown yet. I suppose it’s difficult to announce them as a winner of a collection they can’t show.. ;)

I agree with you regarding the release date. It gives everyone a nice chance to save some more pennies ;) Not just that but if they released the entire collection in March then I think it’s a long way until the fall release :( I much prefer that we always have something to look forward to :D

      Kind Regards
      Victoria

  13. Jeanette

I am loving the fairy tale charms. We took my daughter (who just turned 4) to Disney World in Dec 2011 and Dec 2012 so those charms are a must have for me. The bride/groom charm is another must have for me. The rest of the colleciton isn’t my personal taste except I do like the ribbon murano. I am hoping they will decide to offer it in additinal colors at some point???

Any idea when the pics for the summer 2013 collection will be released?

Thanks so much for the info/review!

    Jeanette

    • endangeredtrolls

      Hi Jeannette :)

Welcome to my blog and thank you for taking the time to comment! :)

How wonderful for your little girl! I went when I was around 9 or 10 I think and I still have wonderful memories! :) The fairy tale charms seem the most popular among my readers so you must stay in touch and let us know if you buy them! We like enjoying each others purchases here ;)

To my knowledge the ribbon murano is restricted to the pink :( But there are some other stunning muranos due in the summer release :)

In regards to the images.. the summer collection isn’t due until around June and Pandora hate their images being leaked early. I published these after the initial press and blogger previews had taken place and indeed after the images had been published on a few other jewellery sites. I’m quite sure if I were to publish their summer pictures, I’d be in an enormous amount of trouble. If the official previews for summer occur at the same point in advance as for spring, I think we can expect to begin seeing them around the end of April or the beginning of May.

      Kind Regards

So glad I found this site!!!

Are you going on the Pandora cruise?

        Jeanette

        • endangeredtrolls

          Hi :)

I’m so glad you found it too! :) There’s some lovely ladies here so please feel free to keep us posted with your new purchases or any new bracelet ideas :))

I’m not going on the cruise – it would be my worst nightmare – I have a phobia of water! ;)

Are you going? You must be so excited if you are :D

          Kind Regards
          Victoria

          • Jeanette

            Hello!

I am going on the cruise with my mom!!! We went together last year also. I actually won the rose gold love pod necklace last year on the cruise.

Also I am super excited I got to see pictures of the summer collection today. It is beautiful :).

            Jeanette

          • endangeredtrolls

This is so lovely! What a great thing to be able to share with your mom! I think this is really lovely :)

I’m also a little jealous that you won the rose gold love pod! I’m a huge fan of rose gold ;)

The summer collection is stunning. I love the new fish (Splish Splash) and the sea muranos.

I’m hoping to be able to offer my own images and reviews of the Pandora Mother’s Day collection after it’s launch in the UK next week but I’m still trying to fine tune the details.

You must be so excited for the cruise. I hope you get a really special commemorative charm this year :) How do you ever decide which charms to take with you?! Do you take just the one bracelet or take everything? :D

            Kind Regards
            Victoria

  14. debbie

thanks for the update on the spring charms just a couple in the fairytale theme will get the bear my heart charm but really looking forward to the summer release love the sea glass muranos, live in the US so I have a bit longer to wait but look forward to your preview of the summer charms and seeing what all the ladies in the UK purchase

    • endangeredtrolls

Those muranos! :O Aren’t they fantastic? They will definitely be something I can foresee me wanting multiples of. So striking! I can totally understand you wanting Bear My Heart and given it’s limited status, I think it will be a bit of a must have for many.

Hopefully they launch in the UK on Friday of next week but with Pandora’s staggered releases, there’s no guarantee everyone will have them at the same time :(

I’m really lusting over the fairy tale book from the first part of the spring collection. I love books in general so that’s a real must have for me :D

As always, you’re most welcome for the update and I hope that you enjoyed it :) Thank you for taking the time to comment! :D

      Kind Regards

    Hello,

My mom and I go out to breakfast and then to the Pandora store to buy some new charms once a month.

I also love the rose gold. I commented to my mom while we were on the cruise that I would love to have something in rose gold and then I won the necklace. That was really cool.

From the summer collection I really liked the new bangle charm bracelet and the crab. My husband loves to watch crab fishing so i thought it would be appropiate for the braclet I have that is all about him/us.

My mom and I will take all of our Pandora jewelry on our cruise!!!!!

    Jeanette

    • endangeredtrolls

This is so lovely. What a great passion you two share :) I bet you both look forward to that day so much :)

I’m also rather lusting after the new bangle but it’s looking like we have to wait until June for the summer release! That feels a really long time at the moment ;)

I did wonder whether the ladies attending would try and take as few charms as possible or just take everything. I think I’d be like you and just want to take everything with me to share with all the other Pandora enthusiasts :D

Do you have the All Aboard cruise ship charm? I really hope that they design a nice charm for you ladies this year :D

Now if only Pandora would sneak some rose gold into their charm collection ;)

      Kind Regards
      Victoria

    • endangeredtrolls

      Hi Ginny,

Happily Ever After is the name of the charm in the US market – it’s the same charm in both pictures; just one is the stock image and the other my own.

      Kind Regards
      Victoria
