Palace of Amber Black Rutilated Quartz for the Great Lakes Boutique Bead Bash on the Lake

This charm bracelet blog brings a preview of the the Palace of Amber Black Rutilated Quartz as an event bead for the Great Lakes Boutique Bead Bash on the Lake.

We’re now just a few weeks from the Great Lakes Boutique Halloween Bead Bash on the Lake and actually a really exciting season for us. Aside from the event we’re launching two new brands both in store and online, one of these being The Palace of Amber.

While we’ve been busy building an inventory of amber in anticipation of the launch, we did of course plan an event bead. The theme is Halloween and Palace of Amber were kind enough to oblige.

Palace of Amber Black Rutilated Quartz

The Palace of Amber Black Rutiilated Quartz will launch in store on September the 29th. There will be some of these made available online though we haven’t established how many. The online schedule of listing times will be published the week before the event. This stone will retail at $59 and it’s limited. The shape is faceted but based on more of a barrel design in comparison with Trollbeads.

There is actually a second bead to complement it. This is a special edition version of a new Palace of Amber silver. The central gemstone has been customised for Great Lakes Boutique and changed to a coordinating black rutilated quartz, (by default it’s an Ethiopian Opal.) There aren’t many of the silver beads so this one may be in store only, at least initially.

Palace of Amber Black Rutilated Quartz Summary

This stone was particularly chosen both for it’s quite gothic look and also for the monochrome colouring that will work so well with the Ohm Beads Eerie Nights. The stones do vary in terms of how much rutile is in each. This alters the appearance entirely with some appearing very dark and others far lighter. It’s absolutely spectacular in person. These will of course be sold from live images for those of you planning on participating online. It’s the perfect stone for a more elegant Halloween combination.

These look beautiful. I hope that those you are highlighting will be similar to those online at the event. The silver is quite pretty as well. A lovely launch for your new line.

I’m confused. Why wouldn’t they be? Gemstones vary enormously though.

The silver has a very gothic feel to it but unfortunately we don’t have very many of those. I knew you’d like the stone šŸ˜€
