The Palace of Amber Winter Gemstone Live Image Preview & Inspiration

This charm bracelet blog brings a live image preview of the new winter gemstones from The Palace of Amber, available now at Great Lakes Boutique.

Tonight at Great Lakes Boutique we’re launching a selection of winter gemstones from The Palace of Amber. Some of you will remember that some of our winter exclusives were all designed to perfectly complement each other with a grey and rose gold theme.

As we head into the very depths of the winter season, we’re extending our winter edit with a new selection of gemstones. At the centre of this mini release is an amazing blue lace agate. You can shop the new winter gemstones via the link below with free global shipping:-

The Palace of Amber Blue Lace Agate was the perfect focal point for the second part of this edit. The markings and colours combined make for such an icy or snowy looking bead.

Accompanying it is a chunky faceted chalcedony, more of the clear crystals and some of the sparkliest feldspar moonstones I’ve ever seen. The latter provide both contrast and warmth.

Finally the end result. I’ve used different bangles and stoppers to create the contrasting metallics. The Trollbeads Star Bangle (available here) is naturally so heavily oxidised that it gives a really dark silver look without needing to step into coated finishes (which ultimately wear away.) The rose gold stoppers are from The Palace of Amber and available here. The rose gold bangle is custom made at Great Lakes Boutique (contact me directly for details on that) and the silvers are all The Palace of Amber Enchanted Lotus which are now very low stock and can be found here. The idea with these is of course to mix and match.

The Palace of Amber Winter Gemstones Summary

Sadly it was a very small batch of blue lace agates (do remember the raw stone has to be sourced and even then there’s no guarantee it’s good enough quality,) so be be fast with these if you want them.

One of my reasons for loving gemstones is that just a single really good bead can be a wearable look in it’s own right and these have such exceptional markings. For those who are new to The Palace of Amber, the stone cut featured here is the new style moving forwards. It’s chunkier when compared to Trollbeads but also gives the brand it’s own distinctive styling.

It’s also worth considering the beautiful smoky quartz currently live on the website too as the chocolate brown shades with these icy blues would look sensational.

As always I love to hear from my readers. What are your thoughts on these gemstones from The Palace of Amber and indeed the bangles featured here? Hit the comments and let me know!

These stones are beautiful. Wow I love the cut of the stone. I am sure I missed this post, but who makes the silver stars that are around the stone like beads on your first picture. I can’t get enough of them. Is one whole bead? They’re amazing.
    Happy New Year to you.

      Hi 🙂

That was The Palace of Amber Starry Winter Forest. It was the highlight of our winter edit at Great Lakes and sadly exclusive. They were a mix of green and red rutilated quartz with the decorative silver frame.

      Happy New Year 🙂
