Palace of Amber Starry Winter Forest Live Image Preview

This charm bracelet blog brings a live image preview of the Palace of Amber Starry Winter Forest.

Today brings a live image preview of a bead we’re very excited about here at Great Lakes. The Palace of Amber Starry Winter Forest was created as a celebration of the winter season as opposed to the holidays. It’s exclusive to Great Lakes Boutique and will launch at midnight EST tonight to begin our Winter Wonderland event.

Though the holidays are amazing, Christmas designs have limited versatility. The winter season by contrast spans a full three months (though it often feels longer.) This season at Great Lakes we’ve focused on a few beautiful winter inspired designs. First came the Ohm Beads Touch of Grey with it’s winter sky shade and small amount of sparkle. Second comes the Palace of Amber Starry Winter Forest.

Starry Winter Forest comes in two different vesions; a green rutilated quartz and a red rutilated quartz. Both retail at $68. The stones are encase in a silver star design and they’re beautiful!

The beads do vary in size with the largest being comparable to the Trollbeads Blue Ocean. Some of these are not suitable for the smaller Trollbeads bangles. All have fit on the medium. Obviously there’s enormous variation in the stones. Some are almost solid coloured, others with very sparse rutile.

These are limited to two hundred and thirty pieces and the online release will be at midnight EDT Thursday night. That’s 6am CET, 5am for the Brits and 9pm PDT.

What a beautiful bead! The star motif endcaps are so striking and just gorgeous. The bead really pops in your bracelet design.

I’m a little bit in love with this bead I must admit. The variation in the stones is just great. Some of the very dark versions almost look like a moonstone then there’s some very sparsely red rutiled versions that have almost little stars in them.

They’re so so beautiful but based on the social media feedback I’m now a tiny bit concerned we don’t have enough. On the other hand we were limited by how much raw stone was available :O

You could always restock at a later date! Or maybe do a series, using different stones? I really do love those stars.

Is the red like an amber color? These are so lovely!

      It varies.

Wow. Stunning. I doubt that there will be any left by the time that I wake, but fingers crossed….
