Palace of Amber Cloud & Sea Live Image Preview

This charm bracelet blog brings live images of the new Palace of Amber Cloud & Sea silver bead.

Though The Palace of Amber are obviously predominantly known for their ambers and to a lesser extent their gemstones, they also produce some lovely silver designs. The first I had hands on experience with was the Freedom silver and the Hibiscus Stoppers (available here,) both of which I’m wearing often.

One of their newest designs is the Palace of Amber Cloud and Sea, a slender spacer style bead. We’ve just received stock at Great Lakes Boutique and you can find it via the link below:-

The closest comparison to this bead in terms of shape would be the Trollbeads Daylight, though Cloud & Sea has wider edges. Around the edge of the bead is engraved the brand name but it is quite subtle. The centre has the abstract patterning and it retails at $48.

Though not a huge piece, it’s ideal for framing a focal glass or stone. Pictured below are the new Palace of Amber Rubies (shop those here) on the new Trollbeads Heart Bangle (available here.)

Palace of Amber Cloud & Sea Summary

I’ve always liked what were originally referred to as spacers, though Trollbeads confused that somewhat when they renamed all of their stoppers. Placed on the end of a bangle with a plain spacer, you get a lovely effect from the engraving.

Incidentally as this is our first batch of Palace of Amber Rubies, they’re quite bit larger than the Trollbeads version and feel perhaps a little more rustic but have a really lovely colour and obviously a different shape and faceting style. They retail at $98 each.
