Ohm Beads Zombie Bracelet for Halloween

This Ohm Beads blog brings a little inspiration with my Ohm Beads Zombie bracelet for Halloween.

In early October we saw the launch of the Ohm Beads Zombie collection. I’ve already showcase my live images of this release but wanted to offer a little bracelet inspiration for Halloween. I’ve dabbled with zombie bracelets in the past and I’ll admit I’ve always been preoccupied with a toxic green and “brain” pink colour. I’ve been unable to find pink beads that really looked quite right (though I should add I’m tempted to try some pink pearls as odd as this may seem.)

It’s impossible to consider Halloween bracelets as a Trollbeads collector and not find yourself drawn to the Inner Glow beads and they’re what I utilised for this bracelet.

Ohm Beads Zombie Bracelet

As mentioned above I started with the Trollbeads Inner Glow glass and all of the Ohm Beads Zombie beads. I skipped the dangles for this bracelet as I really wanted to include the Ohm Beads Brainiac designs that I’ve literally been collecting all year. I don’t quite have enough Inner Glow to fill a bracelet, so I supplemented them with my two Ohm Beads Toxic Pox and then a few other glass beads.

If you’re unsure of any of the beads used, please check the bead index at the end of the article.

Ohm Beads Zombie Bracelet Summary

I’m quite a fan of this bracelet though I can’t help but wonder if I should have incorporated more green colour. I do love the Inner Glow with these Zombie charms. The glass feel a little toxic or even supernatural which works well with the theme of zombies.

As always I love to hear from my readers. What are your thoughts on this Ohm Beads Zombie bracelet? For those of you who purchased these beads, how have you been wearing them? Hit the comments and let me know!

I must be a zombie AND a bead freak because I just got up let the dogs out and made tea and am ADORING your frightful and grossly inspired Zombie bracelet! Toxic Pox and Brainiac I just used myself for my iZOMBIE bracelet, but the Inner Glow you’ve chosen is truly inspired! I was considering adding the Poisoned Apple to mine for the blood red mixed with the green to represent decaying zombie flesh. Ick!

p.s. I must’ve hit something too fast because I wanted to add that Ohm’s Zombie beads are just fantastic in their detail and size!!!

      • endangeredtrolls

Oh I agree with you about the size especially. This is absolutely why I prefer the beads to the dangles. I find the latter get lost easily in a full bracelet :*(

Hahaha that’s an awesome use of Poisoned Apple Faye 😀 Please share the bracelet if you make it 😀 I’m so pleased that people seem to like this bracelet 🙂

This bracelet is fantastic, Victoria, in every sense of the word. I love how you’ve used the Zombie beads. You’ve attained that elusive combination of icky grossness and awesomeness that makes people keep looking, like a good horror movie!

    • endangeredtrolls

Yay 🙂 So pleased this bracelet seemed quite popular as I do like it myself 😀

I hadn’t thought to use Inner Glow with the zombie beads, but I love the final effect with the green glow.

    • endangeredtrolls

Yeah! They look a little bit toxic 😀 It’s fun I think 😀

I absolutely love the Zohmbie collection! They are just fabulous!!

I wish Ohm would come out with some locks to complement their more eccentric beads (like the Zohmbie beads, Teddy Scares, Dark Shadows).

    • endangeredtrolls

Perhaps they will in time 🙂 We had their Elements locks and stoppers only a few months ago so you never know if they’ll follow that up 🙂

  6. Natalie

Love your Zohmbies! 😀 I think my favorites are the Killer Kitty and Decappucino.

    • endangeredtrolls

They are definitely two of my favourites 🙂 I much prefer the beads to the dangles I must admit.
