Ohm Beads Teabag Review

This Ohm Beads blog brings a dedicated review of the newly launched Ohm Beads Teabag, Bead of the Month for February 2018.

Earlier this week saw the global launch of the Ohm Beads Teabag as the Bead of the Month for February 2018. It’s super cute! Further to that it has some of my favourite Bead of the Month packaging to date. It comes complete with a miniature tea tin and functional strainer, while the bead itself is inside a teabag.

Two thousand two hundred and twenty two (2222) were produced, showing Ohm’s apparent determination to increase production numbers for 2018, at the request of their fanbase. It’s retailing at $70, €65 or Β£58 and it is still available!

Teabag is really well executed and I think that was my initial impression of the charm when I finally unwrapped it. I have to confess it was so cute in it’s packaging that I’d left it there. There’s been a high attention to detail from the tea leaf style bail to the tiny Ohm branded tag and the way the chain moves freely.

It’s actually a little larger than I had imagined. That’s not to say it’s a large charm, it’s not but in the image below you can see it next to the Ohm Beads Coffee Collection. The latter is still available and honestly, these three charms complement each other so well.

I’ve had a few ideas as to how to use this charm so I will be revisiting it in the future. For now I’ve been wearing it on a bangle alongside Coffee Collection. I’ve opted for a green and brown colour scheme, drawing inspiration from match tea which has that distinctive green froth.

Ohm Beads Teabag Ordering Details

For those of you yet to order your Teabags, it is available via Ohm Beads USA. Alternatively you can shop via any of my retail partners below.

Ohm Beads Teabag Summary

Teabag was a surprising Bead of the Month for me. I’d assumed that February’s design would be for Valentine’s. Personally though it was a good surprise. We’ve had a few coffee themed Bead of the Month designs and there’s little wonder considering Seattle is known for it’s coffee. Tea drinkers have been requesting something for themselves for some time and it’s nice to see Ohm deliver on that.

Not everyone likes dangle charms and I appreciate that but you do have to admire the execution of Teabag regardless. Do remember if you haven’t yet purchased Coffee Collection these are a perfect complement to each other. It’s still in stock at Great Lakes Boutique here.

As always I love to hear from my readers. What are your thoughts on the Ohm Beads Teabag? Did you indulge in this charm? Hit the comments and let me know!

I really didn’t love the teabag charm but it looks great on your braceletπŸ˜ƒπŸ˜ƒπŸ˜ƒ

I love tea & I do love this charm, but I was going to pass this one by -until I read this post & saw the awesome packaging & the tea strainer this charm comes with.

Noooo get one! It’s actually pretty practical this time! The tin can definitely be used to store tea. Okay so it’s not big… I’d guess there’d be enough for maybe.. one to two days of tea drinking? But handy if you’re on the road! The strainer is large enough for a good sized cup / mug. And that’s just ignoring the charm πŸ˜‰ πŸ˜€

I love this. It looks so well done. But dangles drive nuts so I’m forcing myself not to order it. It needs to sell out soon so I can stop thinking about it πŸ˜‰

But it’s sooooo cute! It’s a lil teabag! With lil tags! And a lil strainer!

Ok I’m sorry :p But there is something weirdly endearing about this one to me πŸ˜€

Yes it is all sorts of adorable. And very tempting. But I think I could only wear it on necklace. Want to whip a necklace idea and convince me?
