Ohm Beads Stardust Earliest Details (Bead of the Month December 2017)

This Ohm Beads blog brings the earliest snippets of information pertaining to the Ohm Beads Stardust, Bead of the Month for December 2017.

Those who attended the Bead Bash on the Lake event at Great Lakes Boutique were treated to a live preview of the upcoming Ohm Beads Stardust, Bead of the Month for December 2017. Needless to say photographs were not permitted and the attendees have been very good at honouring Ohm’s request not to share information.

Interestingly due to the preview, a couple of retailers decided to start offering blind pre-orders. To reiterate you’ll see a full preview on October the 20th. It is not a blind distribution and there’s sufficient numbers available that this just shouldn’t be necessary.

Ohm Beads Stardust

Stardust which is Bead of the Month number thirty one (31) for those of you who like to track such things, will be limited to one thousand one hundred and eleven pieces (1111.) This is precisely why I’d suggest everyone waits until the preview date before pre-ordering. There is good stock available. It’s a silver design.

Ohm Beads Night Sky

Also launching in December is the limited edition Ohm Beads Night Sky, a beautiful glass bead. Quantities of limited editions are never declared like Bead of the Month designs but Ohm do aim to make sufficient quantities for them to roughly last a season.

Ohm Beads December 2017 Summary

I will say that both Stardust and Night Sky are strong designs. I did actually tease Mike at Ohm that it’s the first time (I think) we’ve had a really strong December Bead of the Month.

Obviously if there are any teasers prior to preview day, I’ll be sure to share those!

As always I love to hear from my readers. Are you looking forward to the preview of the Ohm Beads Stardust? Do you have any ideas as to what the design is based upon it’s name? Hit the comments and let me know!

Sounds promising! I am guessing something celestial from the name, though of course my first thought for “Stardust” will always be Neil Gaiman 😀

One of my all time favourite movie adaptations <3

        Mine too <3 🙂

          Me three! 😄

…or, thinking more left field, maybe it could be a baby, on the grounds that “we are all made of stardust” (slightly misquoting Carl Sagan.) (Probably not though!)

I can say that I love this bead of the month. I was lucky enough to have been at bead bash and see it first hand. I can’t wait to get my hands on it. I have all the beads of the month(not every version) some I have bought wondering what to do with them but no worries with this December! My only hint is that it is not food related!

      Thank goodness! 😀

      *Finally* 😀

Last year’s Dec BOTM aasn’t food related. It was Grumpy cat related.

I think it is a shooting star or a snow globe.

Love the name, and I’m a big fan of celestial themes, so I’m very hopeful about this. Though October is very early to order a bead you won’t get until December.
P.S. I loved the movie Stardust too! May have to do a rewatch soon now that you’ve called it to my mind.

I’m not sure what to expect but the words “Stardust” and “Night Sky” leave me very optimistic. Especially “Night Sky.”
