Ohm Beads Serendipity Preview

This Ohm Beads blog brings a complete preview of the upcoming and exclusive Ohm Beads Serendipity.

Many Ohm Beads enthusiasts are awaiting the preview of Black Coffee tomorrow. For those a little behind, the Ohm Beads Black Coffee is set to be the Bead of the Month for July and well obviously it’s coffee themed.

Aside from that I will mention we’re creeping into what is set to be a reasonably busy month in bead world. Most of it is unfortunately things I can’t mention just yet but the last week of May and first week of June will be particularly exciting. Before all of that comes the next exclusive bead for Ohm Stuff. They’ve had quite the string of limited editions recently and I suspect this one will be particularly popular.

Ohm Beads Serendipity

May the 18th sees the latest event over at Ohm Stuff and the highlight will be the new Serendipity glass bead. It has a lavender and white mixed base with white floral details. It also launches with a slightly different distribution policy. Though there will be a limited (and as yet unconfirmed) number of beads available immediately online, they are allowing back orders which will then be delivered in approximately six to eight weeks. This should ensure any of you wanting this glass can indulge.

Ohm Beads Serendipity

Purple is very much the colour of the year and the multi-coloured base gives this bead a certain dreamlike quality which feels apt for the summer season. With glass still being quite scarce in Ohm Beads world this is sure to be popular but hopefully the back ordered option will please the community at large.

As always I love to hear from my readers. What are your thoughts on the Ohm Beads Serendipity? Hit the comments and let me know!

I like the base colour; purple is one of my favourites but I dislike the flower so I will not be ordering.
I am looking forward to the exciting bead world news and your editorials. You do such a great job๐Ÿ™‚

    • endangeredtrolls

That’s really kind of you Kasia <3 Thank you as always ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. Marta Idalia

    Wow…
Iโ€™ll like to get my hands in one of these…
If it can be backordered I think Iโ€™ll make it!

    • endangeredtrolls

Realistically it looks anyone should be able to get one ๐Ÿ™‚ I *suspect* they will only make them available to order for the duration of the event. I’m not sure if that’s just the twenty four hours.. even then though if ANYONE who wants one during that twenty four hours can have it, it’s a pretty good solution I think ๐Ÿ™‚

      • Bonnie May

I believe they recently posted that it can be ordered from 10am PST Friday, through Monday morning! Loving this distribution method as much as the awesome bead! I just hope they try to send matching pairs. My clovers were so different I wound up trading one!

  3. Elizabeth

Yay! Ohm glass! Love the beads style and color. I am not usually a purple person but this seems so light and summery. I am also very happy that it can be back ordered for those of us without swift fingers! Woohoo! Canโ€™t wait!

    • endangeredtrolls

I’m glad to hear you’re so happy ๐Ÿ™‚

  4. Susan

This bead is absolutely gorgeous! I love it! I have been straying from Ohm lately in my pursuit of glass (Trollbeads exclusive lavender from Japan and Germany) to match the caterpillar from bead bash. And now this beauty comes along just in time! There is no question a couple of these will be joining the other lavender glass on my bracelet! Bravo, as usual, Ohm!

    • endangeredtrolls

So pleased to hear that you’re happy ๐Ÿ™‚ And it is the year for purple regardless of the brand ๐Ÿ™‚

  5. Tanya the compulsive Beadhousebuilder

Very pretty! Iโ€™m not sick of purple yet ๐Ÿ’œbut I am drowning in beads after Bead Bash, so I will have to pare down some more and decide if I want to indulge. (Fully admit itโ€™s a nice problem to have). I do like the preorder option-lower pressure.

    • endangeredtrolls

Fortunately there’s a few days before it’s available anyway so you have time to sit and ponder! ๐Ÿ˜€

  6. Katie

I was sold with the word ‘purple’. I also like the way that they are distributing this. While it would be lovely to be able to order one for immediate delivery, I don’t mind waiting for a back ordered bead. I’ve been frustrated by some of the Ohm parties, recently. Not that I am blaming Ohm for that. But, their beads have become so popular that getting one in a party has become practically impossible. I’ll have to find a bit of room in my bead budget, but it should be do-able. Hopefully, there is an upcoming release that I really don’t like…..

    • endangeredtrolls

Indeed Ohm are very popular at the moment, particularly in regards to their glass as it has mostly (all?) been limited in some sense or another so there’s not much of it around ๐Ÿ™

  7. Marisa

Oh, that is tempting and I like the multi-coloured base. Glad that there will be a way to order that seems a bit more fair…plus gives you some time to think about your budget!

    • endangeredtrolls

Yes it seems more fair but do keep in mind that they haven’t stated how long the bead is available. I have a suspicion you’ll still need to order it during their event. It’s just they’ll allow back orders. It doesn’t say that they’ll keep allowing those back orders indefinitely ๐Ÿ™‚

  8. Pippa

I love Ohm glass and like the addition of a pre-order option.
I am cautiously optimistic about the bead itself and being able to order a pair…

    My fingers are crossed!

    • endangeredtrolls

You should be fine! At the very worst you’ll have to wait a few weeks but I think most people are okay with that versus not getting one at all ๐Ÿ™‚

  9. Lisa G

I love it. I can’t seem to get enough purple:). Do we have to play some kind of game to get it on the 18th? If so, I will just get a back ordered bead…

    • endangeredtrolls

I have absolutely no idea how the live sales will go. They seem to have move most of them to the website so I suspect it will be first come first served on the stock they do have ready to ship and everything after that will be back ordered

  10. Angela

Maybe itโ€™s just me but if brands would just make pretty beads, sell them to the Retailers
have Victoria do her thing all would be smooth , fun and enjoyable instead they frustrate, annoy and dissenfranchise
their customers with games, lotteries ang gimmicks.
Beautiful bead would have loved a few but just cannot be bothered with the tricks and games. If a brand wants to sell me a product make it available to me your customer at my retailer
I cannot think of any bead that I want to have so badly that I am going to give a six to eight weeks no interest loan to the manufacturers.
Just imagine they make 20 so called limited beads when they are gone first day ,they announce they are sold out, thus creating more demand as nothing excites collectors more than the words Limited and Sold Out. Didnโ€™t see the price but just say it is $50 each and a thousand plus gets ordered thatโ€™s over $50,000,thatโ€™s one heck of a way for a company to
    1) Cut our their Retail partners and
    2) Raise a quick interest free cash infusion. Worst if we put it on a credit card thatโ€™s one to two billing cycles that we pay interest on.
Not saying itโ€™s illegal or wrong as the object of a business is to make money by filling a need but IMO slimey and just another reason why no matter how fabulous the bead , as time goes by I do not get warm fuzzies buying this brand.

@Victoria hope your trip was fun and that you have caught up on rest ?
Sorry for the rant, so good you are back morning coffee was a bit bland

    • endangeredtrolls

      Hi ๐Ÿ™‚

I’m good thanks. The travelling doesn’t actually seem to tire me out and I keep my schedule to US time anyway so the trips over there don’t really seem to impact me anymore. I don’t find air travel super stressful because it’s not like they ever let you get on the wrong plane anyway. It’s a bit like being herded about like cattle :p

      But yes I’m back ๐Ÿ˜‰

    • Lola

The words “limited” and “sold out” do not excite me. Limited items don’t push me to buy immediately, and I strike sold out items off my list, never to buy them. If I miss something I liked, so what, it’s jewelry, frivolous expenditure. If a brand makes their items too hard for me to get, then I’ll move on. I stopped collecting Pandora for that reason, and crazily enough, I’m still alive and quite happy. ๐Ÿ˜€

  11. Angela

    @Lola,
I should have said some collectors as I know many that are in the have to have if it is Limited or Sold group that are willing to pay hundreds of dollars over retail to eBay for the one they missed.
I congratulate you on being a leader and just walking away. Pandora I only buy three times per year , two sales plus Black Friday charm . Trollbeads gone from buying whole collections to cherrypicking and not even buying additional pieces during the year .Ohm used to do multiples of every bead of the month already passed on four out of five of 2018. Used to hate having a hole in my collection now there are so many and I am not caring. As you said life continues just fine.
