Ohm Beads Marching Band Promotion

This Ohm Beads blog article brings readers updated information regarding an Ohm Beads Marching Band promotion.

Following my preview of the Ohm Beads Marching Band collection, a couple of readers expressed interest in obtaining the entire set and whether Ohm Beads would be offering an incentive for such customers. The lovely Ohm Beads team read the comments and contacted me informing that they hadn’t predicted this request and would be working on the issue.

Today brings an update on precisely such a promotion.

Ohm Beads Marching Band Promotion

I’m absolutely not surprised that some readers are coveting the set in it’s entirety. I was fortunate enough to receive these back in February. Firstly I was shocked at the appeal these held for me. I’m neither musical nor have ever had an involvement with a marching bad. Theoretically they should hold no interest for me. Despite this, it’s an adorable collection of charms. Their chubby shapes and enormous instruments make them undeniably cute and fun. Indeed the preview sparked some childhood memories for a few of us; years spent in music classes and foresight now informing us how utterly tuneless a class of five year olds armed with recorders could be.

For those collectors keen to purchase the entire Ohm Beads Marching Band collection, the retail price is $450 and will include a complimentary silver bracelet. Customers can choose from either the barrel clasp or lobster clasp versions with a retail price of $65 or $60.

As always I love to hear from my readers. What are your thoughts on this promotion? For those of you considering the Ohm Beads Marching Band collection in it’s entirety, does this make you more inclined to order it? OMG! My granddaughter plays percussion instruments in her high school marching band and piano in jazz band. I would love the get these darling charms for her graduation present. Are these like the Pandora system or Trollbeads? Thanks for posting this special!

How nice of Ohm to read the feedback and offer a bracelet as part of the package. I would love this set, and will have to give my piggy bank a rattle to see how many pennies are in the bead fund 😉

Will Ohm extend this offer to ordering through Perlen?

Mmm I haven’t asked them. I could perhaps point out to them that it’s crippling for EU fans to order from the States and maybe they’d be kind and consider it. I’ll drop them an email and ask though everyone is out of the office until Monday now.

Perlen won’t have received these yet considering the delays getting them from the States to Europe (and the delays with the tax people applying everything – I know this all too well!)

I think it’s a nice offer. I’ve been photographing them this week and the full set don’t leave a huge amount of spare room on my bracelet so many would probably need a new dedicated chain to house them (oh and they look adorable together!)

No rush, and it would be great if you could ask them 🙂 Ohm seem to do some creative promotions which is really refreshing, and it would be great if us Europeans could benefit via Perlen.

I am surprised at how much this set appeals to me, especially as I don’t have any great links to musical things (Badly played recorders at six years old don’t count 😉 ) However, seeing them march around the bracelet really makes me smile, and I agree they are too adorable to resist 🙂

I have the exact same issue! These should not appeal to me on any level and yet they do. I was actually really excited to be able to offer the preview to gauge the reactions of other people – in case it was just me being a little weird.

They look so so cute on a bracelet all together. I’ve been photographing them for reviews and it’s really hard to split them up – it feels very wrong!

Sometimes jewellery is just meant to be fun and this is a perfect example I think 🙂
