Ohm Beads Halloween Charm Bracelet

The spookiest night of the year is upon us and ghouls, goblins, witches and vampires are out in force. This Ohm Beads blog article celebrates with a showcase of my own Ohm Beads Halloween charm bracelet.

Halloween came early to Denmark this year as Monday delivered a monster storm which scared me more than any horror movie. With the resulting repairs and cleanup I’ve been a little behind on with blogging. When Ohm Beads released their Dark Shadows collection in early October, it had obvious appeal for the Halloween season. Indeed if you look over the Ohm Beads catalogue, including retired designs, they’ve dedicated a lot of creativity to this holiday.

Tonight brings a showcase of my Ohm Beads Halloween charm bracelet. For the benefit of those unfamiliar with the brand, these charms are compatible with most charm bracelets, including Pandora.

Ohm Beads Halloween Charm Bracelet

As holidays go I adore Halloween. I also love Christmas and definitely fall into the annoying category of people who are counting the days down from September. Halloween offers adults the opportunity to dress up and have fun but without the gift giving pressures of Christmas. While I love Christmas it tends to be accompanied by stress, of both the mental and financial types. Halloween is just fun.

Ohm Beads as a brand have an enormous sense of humour so there’s little wonder that they have a plethora of Halloween themed designs. I’ve been enthusiastic about Dark Shadows since it’s debut and decided to flesh out a full bracelet with existing Ohm Beads charms. Accompanied by my Halloween Blood Splatter nails, this is my 2013 holiday look.

Ohm Beads Halloween Charm Bracelet Summary

My plans for tonight involve nothing more social than watching horror movies on Netflix with my cat and dog (though admittedly I’ll be doing so with fabulous nails.) Given candy was on special offer at the store and my other half bought me what can only be described as a bucket full for self indulgence, I’m rather looking forward to some peace, quiet and normal weather.

Ohm Beads have by far the most Halloween themed charms I’ve encountered in any brand. These cater to the horror movie fanatics (with the likes of the Chainsaw Dude and the Frankenstein couple) and those appreciative of more classical symbols (such as the Jack O’ Lantern.) Dark Shadows has appeal for me far beyond Halloween, most specifically their shatter effect glass and the Cameo charm.

As always I love to hear from my readers. What are your plans for Halloween? Have you created a themed charm bracelet? Did you indulge in any of the Dark Shadows collection? Hit the comments and let me know!

I tried to create a themed bracelet, but wasn’t happy with how it turned out so my wrist will be bare tonight as I had out candy. Maybe I’ll put on my black leather & baby dragon to at least be a bit in the Halloween spirit! Sept and Oct were busy months, so I wasn’t able to indulge in any of the Dark Shadows collection. But after seeing your bracelet I can tell that my list is going to grow! πŸ˜€ I really like the little chainsaw guy πŸ˜€

What is the name of the bead to the left of the cranium bead? Is it a retired Ohm bead (or did I just miss it on the Ohm site)?

It’s the retired Pumpkin Ring. You might find it on some of the retailer pages though. It’s super cute πŸ™‚

I totally understand how busy the last couple of months have been πŸ™

      Have a good night Tracy!

I love your Halloween bracelet, Victoria! I love the little ghost – who makes him?

My Halloween bracelet is stil intact. Congratulations on getting your Grimwald!
