Ohm Beads Gilded Pink Inspiration

This Ohm Beads blog brings a little spring inspiration for the Ohm Beads Gilded Pink.

The Ohm Beads Gilded Pink launched late last year as part of a trio of glass. The series consisted of Gilded Pink, Sugared Foam and Sunlight and they were typified by the use of gold foil pieces. They retail at $50 and are not limited.

As we start to move into the spring season, this trio have beautiful pastel shades with the gold foil evocative of the return of the sun. Today I’m sharing a little bangle inspiration. You can shop all three of these glass from live images via the link below:-

Ohm Beads Gilded Pink Inspiration

Of the three beads Gilded Pink and Sugared Foam are my favourites and both are such beautiful soft shades. With Sunlight it’s a little difficult to see the contrast between the foil and the base and yellow has never been a flattering colour for me.

Gilded Pink is a beautiful complement to the Ohm Beads Pink Matter (available here.) Pink Matter has a slighter warmer undertone to it, where Gilded Pink is a little cooler. I used the Ohm Beads Vermeil Hive Mind (available here) and it’s worth noting that the finish on this bead has held up well where the blush version never did. The silver bead is the lovely Ohm Beads Sunflowers (available here) and despite not being much of a floral person, I’ve always loved this series from Ohm. Though unfortunately most of them are now retired.

Ohm Beads Gilded Pink Summary

It was only when I sat down to write this article that I began wishing I’d added one of the Birdie’s to the bangle. Though small I’ve always enjoyed them.

I find pastels quite difficult to work with as I gravitate towards darker colours in general. That said with the spring season on the horizon I’m desperately trying to step out of my comfort zone a little in regards to colours.

As always I love to hear from my readers. What are your thoughts on the Ohm Beads Gilded Pink? Hit the comments and let me know!

I sympathize with your comfort zone struggle. My zone is opaque glass, but I’ve been trying to wear more trans’ glass, and trying hard to like it, but… the struggle is real.
