Ohm Beads Easter Bunny Review

This Ohm Beads blog article offers an in depth review of the Ohm Beads Easter Bunny charm, a cute seasonal addition to any holiday bracelet.

The deluge of vile weather meant that Easter managed to sneak up on me this year. There is still snow falling and the bitterly cold wind is reminiscent of January. Nevertheless, I’m taking comfort in the fact that it is indeed the very end of March and the weather will ultimately turn spring like in the blink of an eye. At the beginning of last week, Ohm Beads began offering a special Easter promotion featuring a limited edition Bunny charm. Unfortunately with import taxes and handling fees so prohibitive for many of us inside the EU, indulging in this Ohm Beads offer wasn’t possible for myself.

I was fortunate enough to receive their standard collection Ohm Beads Easter Bunny charm however! This super cute charm is versatile enough to feature on either spring themed or Easter bracelets and with this in mind, I decided to whip up a holiday review.

For those unfamiliar with the brand, the Ohm Beads Easter Bunny charm is fully compatible with all major charm and bead brands, including Pandora.

Ohm Beads Easter Bunny

The Ohm Beads Easter Bunny is poised holding a bundle of spring flowers (quite the irony given that snow is still blanketing any brave blooms here in Denmark.)

Bunny charms certainly aren’t a scarcity in the charm and bead world. With Ohm Beads closest in size to Pandora charms (and thus making them a wonderful compliment,) it seemed apt to offer an approximate size guide via comparison with the Pandora Rabbit charm.

For the featured bracelets I opted for two very different colour schemes. The silver charms are selected for their representation of various fairy tales or nursery rhymes (both of which I personally adore!) For the initial showcase bracelet, I wanted to embrace pink and grey hues. This is a colour scheme I’ve been wearing an enormous amount recently. The grey prevents the pinks becoming over powering or too feminine and add a muted tone suitable for this mid-season drear plaguing many of us.

For the second bracelet, I wanted to showcase more spring themed hues of crisp and vibrant greens. Green is a colour I’m not generally a fan of, so I opted to underpin the zesty shades with cool neutrals. Much like the grey tones in the pink combination, the cream beads help to prevent the dominant shade from becoming too overpowering.

Ohm Beads Easter Bunny Summary

As with many Ohm Beads, this is a cute and slightly chubby design. While it’s marketed at Easter, it offers good versatility for spring themed or fairy tale inspired bracelets. The detailing, as with most of the Ohm Beads collection, is good and the features are sharply displayed.

As always I love to hear feedback from my readers. What do you think of the Ohm Beads Easter Bunny charm? Are you coveting many Ohm Beads designs at the moment? Hit the comments and let me know!

I have just newly ventured into the land of Ohm Beads and this bunny was one of my purchases. He can be purchased separately but also part of a set that includes two glass beads. That set is what I chose along with a Peacock bead. I am still hoping that I receive the special limited edition bunny as I did meet the dollar amount. I think they send the special bunny separately – at least that is what I have been told.
In any case, I absolutely love this bunny (the one you are featuring today.) His bottom is weighted and so he doesn’t spin around and he looks so fresh and happy – just perfect for the spring time!

      Hi Carole 🙂

Welcome to my blog and thank you for taking the time to comment 🙂 You certainly should receive the limited edition bunny and you’re correct, they are shipping those separately I think. You must keep me posted as to whether you like the limited edition buns as I haven’t seen him 🙂

I do like that this Easter Bunny will work perfectly well for spring themed bracelets as well as Easter 🙂 It gives a little more versatility I think 🙂

      Kind Regards
      Victoria

so sweet the Easter Bunny, your bracelets are pure eye candy, thanks to this blog I found out that OHM-beads can be ordered at Perlen, and I got already the Ohm-snowflake, a really beautiful bead.
hm…looking at your blog can become quite costly! :)))

      Hi Anette 🙂

Yes Perlen now stock Ohm Beads which is just fantastic for us Europeans! The Ohm Beads Snowflake is one of their nicest designs in my opinion – such a beautiful bead!

I’m so happy that you enjoy the pictures! 😉

      Kind Regards

I like the Ohm bunny and I prefer him to the Pandora version. Thanks as always for doing comparisons, this is so helpful.

The green bracelet is fabulous and fingers crossed it will help Spring ease its way in and push away the nasty winter weather we are all still having. I love the Ohm marshmallow – what fun 🙂

    /hugs

I have to say.. I think Ohm’s version makes the Pandora rabbit look quite dated now 🙁 Though in Pandora’s defense, it’s an old design 🙂 For anyone looking for a bunny though, this one is super cute 🙂

We’ve had a beautiful day here today – though there’s still snow on the ground – let’s hope it continues and edges it’s way to you guys 🙁 I’ve seen how cold it still is over there! 🙁

The Ohm Beads Marshmallow is great. I’ve received a few new examples of their glass that I’m trying to work my way through at present 😀

      /hugs
