Ohm Beads Blush Water-Ish Inspiration Part I

This Ohm Beads blog brings a little inspiration for the new and exclusive Ohm Beads Blush Water-Ish (stoppers.)

Pre-orders for the Ohm Beads Blush Water-ish began last week as an event bead for the upcoming Bead Bash on the Lake hosted by Great Lakes Boutique. It’s a blush finish of the popular Water-ish stopper, fully compatible with the Ohm Beads bangles and Trollbeads bracelets and bangles. Rose gold has always been a popular metal and with the autumn season upon us, there’s no better time to be using the water metallics. The blush finish is perfect as it avoids the cost associated with solid gold.

It’s retailing at $50 and you’ll be seeing a lot of it over the next few weeks as it features a huge amount on my Trollbeads Autumn 2017 editorials. You’ll notice the title of this post specifics part one; I actually ended up with two beautiful bangle ideas so the second will feature next week (or perhaps tomorrow if I’m super productive.)

Ohm Beads Blush Water-Ish Inspiration

For this bangle I’ve used the new Trollbeads Cat’s Eye Quartz with the Feldspar Moonstone. The peachier hues of the latter suit the Cat’s Eye better in my opinion than the new Strawberry Quartz. I’ve used the Trollbeads gold bangle as a base and the Blush Water-ish to just split the beads a little. As much as I love wearing predominantly stones or glass on my bangles, I do like to frame them with spacers as it just stops them getting too cluttered together.

Ohm Beads Blush Water-Ish Summary

I adore these stoppers. Rose gold has always been my favourite metal and it suits my skin tone better than yellow gold. I use a lot of spacers and stoppers in my own bangles, as those who follow me on social media will know. Even assuming there were solid rose gold stoppers available, the number I’d need for design purposes would amount to a staggering price.

Though the design is called Water-Ish, those who have followed me for some time will know I’ve also used these stoppers to represent air as well. They’ve appeared a lot on my stormy day bracelet combinations.

As always I love to hear from my readers. What are your thoughts on the Ohm Beads Blush Water-Ish and did you pre-order any? Are they on your wishlist? Hit the comments and let me know!

I love the stoppers. I love your bangle combinations. Never would I even think of the Cats Eye Quartz with the Feldspar Moonstone! Solid Rose Gold stoppers you say….mmmm!😍

I never have enough stoppers. Ever 🙁 I’d love solid gold stoppers but you need a pair minimum… One day perhaps 😛

      I love these though 😀

I like the way you featured them around the center stone. I really like the water ish stoppers. Don’t know if I will buy since I am on an Ohm ban presently due to their *sales antics* of which I am not a fan. Haven’t bought anything since I managed to actually buy a Sol but did not appreciate ensuing frenzy and bad feelings in the community. Will have to see.

I use stoppers so much as beads these days. The take up so much less room than most silver beads 😀
