This Ohm Beads blog alerts readers to the start of the live image pre-orders for the Ohm Beads Beltane.
This evening saw the live image pre-orders begin for the new limited edition and exclusive Ohm Beads Beltane. Beltane is the last in the series of cubic zirconia beads created for Great Lakes Boutique.
Beltane was inspired by the Pantone Colour of the Year for 2019; Living Coral.
An animating and life-affirming coral hue with a golden undertone that energizes and enlivens with a softer edge
Ohm have done a wonderful job at executing some quite precise colours. Beltane does vary but quite subtly. Some of the beads are really bright where others sit a little more to the salmon or even terracotta shades. It’s a beautiful colour. Beltane has been the most difficult of this series to photography purely because the variation is quite soft. Ironically it’s far more evident in person, where as usually the problem I have with my camera is catching details the naked eye doesn’t see.
It’s limited to three hundred pieces and as with the previous designs, it’s retailing at $50. It’s also part of the Ohm Beads buy five get one free promotion.
Though the shade has a vivacity that feels apt for the summer, it already makes me yearn for the fall. It will really come into it’s own during the autumn season.
Ohm Beads Beltane
Beltane was the final bead in this exclusive series and I’ll be sad to see it end. It started with Touch of Grey back in December, though that is long sold out now. January brought Purple Rain, February launched Pink Matter, March was Green Tambourine (very low stock) and April was the lovely Lilac Rain. All but Touch of Grey are still available via out website but Purple Rain and Pink Matter are temporarily down as we prepare for Bead Bash on the Lake.
I’ll be sharing a little bracelet inspiration for Beltane, hopefully on Thursday but until then happy shopping!
