Ohm Beads Beadmas Inspiration

This Ohm Beads blog brings a little inspiration starring the older Ohm Beads Beadmas charms, retired but still available and perfect for the upcoming holidays.

The weather for many of us has turned decidedly chilly over the past week or so. Suddenly warm autumn colours are to be replaced by the cooler icy shades of winter. Ohm haven’t planned a large Christmas collection this year, though I know lots of collectors are eagerly awaiting the release of Stardust and Night Sky. Incidentally I have those beads in hand far earlier than expected so I’ll be sharing some live images in the not too distant future. Some of their older Beadmas charms are absolute classics however and though retired, stocks are still available. Today I’m revisiting those designs on a winter inspired bracelet.

The charms specifically referred to here are the Beadmas Bell, Beadmas Wreath and Beadmas Tree plus some of my absolute favourites, Flakes for Friends, You Melt Me and Sip Happens.

For this bracelet I’ve mixed some quite iconic though sadly retired, icy blue Ohm glass with the Trollbeads Agate Dendritic stone. The latter is one of my favourite gemstones as I love the variation. It’a also apt for this bracelet as some of the patterning on these stones is very reminiscent of snowflakes.

This bracelet is also my first time showing the Ohm Beads Feast, Bead of the Month for November, themed for Thanksgiving and still available! Rest assured I’ll be showcasing it on a more holiday themed bracelet ahead of next week.

Ohm Beads Beadmas Ordering Details

As mentioned these designs are retired but they’re also still available so if they’re missing from your collection, now is the perfect time to indulge as they’ll be so useful over Christmas and the winter season in general. Due to the fact they are retired however, retailer availability will vary. You can find them directly via Ohm Beads USA or below you’ll find a list of my retail partners:-

Ohm Beads Beadmas Summary

The charms here span both the Beadmas collection and the Kiss my Christmass release which launched for Christmas 2014. I particularly loved the latter as I’ve always enjoyed Ohm’s more satirical view of the holidays.

As always I love to hear from my readers. What are your thoughts on the Ohm Beads Beadmas charms? Do you already have these or are they still on your wishlist? Have you started moving to more winter themed bracelets yet? Hit the comments and let me know!

I’ve been holding onto my autumnal creations, hoping to stretch their period of wear through Thanksgiving next week here in the US. Autumn is my favorite season and I try to get every socially acceptable day of it.

Hmmm.., I’m beginning to twitch as I think about it…. I suppose it is time to assemble some Christmas/winter-themed bracelets and necklaces. That said, I refuse to wear any of them until the “official” holiday season begins on Black Friday. ❄️❄️❄️

I hear you. I love autumn but I’ve always felt it gets squished into a few short weeks due to the holidays. At least in retail terms Christmas starts so early that poor autumn sort of gets cut short! :O
