Ohm Beads Bead Fairy Preview

This Ohm Beads blog brings a preview of the upcoming Ohm Beads Bead Fairy.

Though today is the official preview, many of you have probably already seen the Ohm Beads Bead Fairy on social media where she’s proven quite popular with collectors. This design is not limited in any way, is retailing at $90 or €83 and will launch on July the 5th.

Ohm Beads Bead Fairy

The bead fairy term came originally from the Trollbeads community and awarded to those collectors who help others by purchasing country or event exclusive beads (without profiteering obviously.) It’s a very sweet idea of Ohm’s to actually give form to this idea.

Ohm Beads Bead Fairy Summary

I’ve never been a huge fan of humanoid faces in silver so this design isn’t for me but I think she’s going to prove popular with many collectors. I’m also interested in seeing live images for her size as she’s a little more expensive (though clearly detailed too,) and in relation to the bracelet in the above images, she looks like she could be quite a focal piece.

As always I love to hear from my readers. What are your thoughts on the Ohm Beads Bead Fairy? Hit the comments and let me know!

  1. Paula, Gravesend

I am with you on this one. Quite relieved I don’t like it as my wish list is so long for the soon to be retired beads.

    • endangeredtrolls

It’s faces for me πŸ™ I’m just not a fan.

  2. Renee

I love the rubenesque design, More like me. I AM a fan of the winged beads and she will fit right in with all my others.
Not sure about the glass Yet. It’s in the cart, but I’ve shot my budget(in a good way I got a Puppy) so I might for go the glass.

    • endangeredtrolls

I tend to like large wings as opposed to smaller. (I know. I know.) I think if her wings had been big, I might have been able to ignore the face more.. but faces in silver just don’t do it for me

  3. Genievre

I love her full figure and wings. She will definitely be added to my oh collection.

    • endangeredtrolls

I’m so pleased to hear you love her πŸ˜€

  4. Susan

I immediately fell in love with this bead when I saw it during Ohmgnome events. She is so detailed! And her bloomers are fantastic with the Ohm symbol! And the wings just top it all off. This is a must have for me for sure!

    • endangeredtrolls

She’s very detailed and that has impressed me the most of all. I do wish I could get a feel for her size (but that’s not Ohm’s fault. I always struggle with this.0

  5. Angel

I love her. This is revolutionary to me because it is rare to find a full figured fairy it sets a environment of inclusion. Absolutely on my list.

    • endangeredtrolls

So pleased to hear that you love her πŸ˜€

  6. endangeredtrolls

I think she’ll be popular too πŸ™‚ Reception on social media even before the previews certainly seemed positive πŸ˜€

  7. Pippa

I want to like this bead…she is gorgeous and love her curves. But I would like her so much better without the wings.
I get that its because she is a Bead Fairy…but her expression and pose say va-voom!
But I just wish she was not a bead fairy and no wings
I am going to pass on this beauty πŸ™

  8. Veroniek

I like this one (and I like the office as well), but am I the only one who finds it a little sad that it seems as if Ohm prices are becoming less “collector friendly”? When I would like to buy both, I would run out of beadbudget very quickly (and there is a big retirement coming, and there are more brands I love…)

  9. Lola

I’m not a fan of human faces in silver either. I very much liked your OhmMyGod the last one, πŸ˜€ because that face told me something, while this face, from the stock image, isn’t telling me anything, and in person it would be too small to tell me anything. It’s also nothing equal to Rubens. Rubenesque is possibly the most misapplied term we have.

  10. Liseth

It’s a no for me. I don’t understand why the wings are soo tiny. It obviously can’t lift that fairy. Looks goofy.

  11. MaLa SaHan

    a very curvy beauty indeed
