Ohm Beads Arachnid Hive Bracelet Inspiration

This Ohm Beads blog brings a an Ohm Beads Arachnid Hive Bracelet for Halloween 2016.

October is absolutely my favourite month partly because I love the cooler weather and the sensational colours outside but also because of Halloween. For the next few weeks you’ll find a mixture of Halloween and autumn themed bracelets on my blog.

Tonight I’m revisiting the Ohm Beads Hive Mind, Bead of the Month from August.

Ohm Beads Arachnid Hive Bracelet

Hive Mind launched in four variations, dirty (black,) silver, vermeil (gold plated) and blush (rose gold plated.) The latter two are beautiful warm shades for the autumn but I have to confess all I could think of when I saw the silver and dirty versions were spider webs. Since then I’ve been waiting for October to style them a little differently. The Ohm Beads Dark Shadows third edition just launched and though I’m still waiting on samples (my fault, not Ohm’s might I add) I have dug out my earlier two versions of the Ohm Beads Arachnid for this bangle. As always there’s a bead index at the end of the article.

Ohm Beads Hive Mind Stock

I’ve only been able to find one of my retail partners with remaining stock of the Dirty Hive Mind and you can find that link below:-

For those of you looking for the warmer variations, here’s my list:-

Ordering links for the other beads are in the index.

Ohm Beads Arachnid Hive Bracelet Summary

Halloween is often associated with brighter colours but sometimes I love stripping all that away and focusing on more monochrome designs. I have to confess I’m rather regretting not grabbing a couple more of the silver Hive Mind beads to create a full bracelet as opposed to a bangle.

As always I love to hear from my readers. Have you made a Halloween bracelet yet? If so what designs are you using? Has anyone received their third variations of the new Ohm Beads Dark Shadows charms? Hit the comments and let me know!

Wow! I am loving the spooky vibe of this bracelet. The design of the hives make it trendy and edgy.

      Glad you like it 😀

Inspired use of the hive! I do love that original Arachnid -I have one and love it.

    • endangeredtrolls

It shows my preoccupation with Halloween. From the moment those Hive Minds arrived I was all “ooooh spidey webs!” 😉

      xoxo

Love the bracelet. Very jealous of the original 2toned arachnid. Great use of the hive mind! I clearly need an Ohm spider now!

Yeah I’ve been working with Ohm a loooong time now. That’s kinda why it was so awesome to meet Mike in Ohio. He’s been one of the guys I’ve worked with the longest so to finally meet him was so much fun! 😀 You absolutely do need an Ohm Arachnid. The question is.. dirty or high shine?!

      xoxo

I may have to add this Hive bead to my arrangements that include Chamilia Tangled Web, Ohm Arachnid, and most recently Trollbeads Wicked Web.!
I’m so glad, and envious, you finally got to meet Mike at Ohmbeads in Ohio. 🙂

        • endangeredtrolls

Not only did I get to meet him, I got to cuddle with him for ages! 😉 Mike is amazing and we’re in *similar* fields in terms of what we do so it was fun to have somewhere there who gets what my job is like, cause actually it’s kinda unique. He’s someone I’ve spoken to a lot for the past four years so it was great to finally connect in person 🙂 I miss him though!

          xoxo

Ooh, that’s genuinely creepy and I don’t even mind spiders, well done! 🙂 My only spider bead is the Trollbeads spider which mainly lives on my Hobbit bracelet representing the giant spiders of Mirkwood, but will go on my Halloween bracelet along with rbf luna moon, and some elf everspark ducks (bit random I know, but they’re my only glow-in-the-dark beads – and hey, ducks are a legit phobia if you’re Jace Wayland! 😀 )

    • endangeredtrolls

Poor Jace :'( Though it is a bit random it has to be said. Clowns are my big issue but at least they’re genuinely creepy!

That aside I’m glad you like the bracelet 😉 The Trollbeads spider will work great for Halloween anyway 😀

      xoxo

  5. Tracy

I didn’t see the hive mind as spider webs, but that is spot-on! This is really great and so me 🙂
