Novobeads Spring 2014 Preview (Plus Imminent Release Notice)

A sneak peek of the Novobeads Spring 2014 collection was released last month. This charm jewellery blog article brings a complete preview of the Novobeads Spring 2014 collection.

Last month saw a sneak peek of the Novobeads Spring 2014 collection by way of a very vibrant spring bracelet. The creation practically screams of summer with zesty shades that reminded me of fruit cocktails. Unfortunately following this initial sneak peek, everything seemed deathly quiet from Novobeads and a number of my readers have been asking about the official launch date.

Tonight brings a complete preview of the Novobeads Spring 2014 collection in anticipation of an imminent release.

Novobeads Spring 2014

Firstly it’s wroth stressing that most of the colour in the campaign image is courtesy of existing Novobeads Signature CZ beads. Featured are the Green Pasture and Tangerine Orange versions.

Specifically there are seven new items debuting, four silver beads and three new pavé designs aimed at the Easter holidays.

The new Novobeads Spring Garden is the focal point on the campaign image, featuring soft green cubic zirconia stones. It has a recommended retail price of $35.

The beautiful new Novobeads Curling Vine is elongated in shape and looks to be beautifully textured. The same green stones are used to ensure a perfect complement with Spring Garden. It has a recommended retail price of $37.

Finally the Novobeads Dainty completes the garden-themed trio of charms with a recommended retail price of $33.

Moving onto the Easter beads, first is the Novobeads Classic Egg in simple polished silver. It has a recommended retail price of $23.

Finally come the lovely new Novobeads Pavé Eggs. These are debuting in clear, gold or rose finishes, each retailing at $19. They’re the same aesthetic as the Novobeads Crystal Macaroons so enthusiasts of those should appreciate the easter eggs. Additionally they are cored in such away to ensure they sit correctly on either a bracelet or a simple silver necklace.

Novobeads Spring 2014 Ordering Details

Novobeads host their own online store with shipping occurring from the USA. While they do offer global delivery, please be aware that those outside of the USA could be subject to import taxes:-

For my European readers, Perlen are the first retailer to stock Novobeads in our region. They don’t have the entire collection at this time but clicking on the link below will open their landing page:-

Novobeads Spring 2014 Summary

This is a pretty collection albeit slightly small. I admit I was expecting a larger release particularly in light of the lack of a Novobeads Valentine’s Day 2014 collection. The release has also debuted incredibly late for Easter considering some of the products are overtly themed for the holiday.

I spoke with Novobeads earlier regarding the release and they stated that the beads had already launched to retailers. It seems the fact the new charms weren’t showing on their own website was more of a technical error than intentional. I received an email a few moments ago informing me that they’re now working on it. Given the website is currently throwing a few errors, I assume this is accurate and the collection should launch imminently.

The campaign image merely reinforces my love of the Novobeads Signature CZ beads however. They add such a lovely amount of sparkle and depth of colour to a bracelet.

As always I love to hear from my readers. What are your thoughts on the Novobeads Spring 2014 collection? Are there any must have pieces? Hit the comments and let me know!

Thanks Victoria! I just saw this. Now I know the names! Yay! I love those eggs… love the macaroons on a wrap bracelet so no surprise. Curling Vine, you are mine. 🙂

I could see TB’s doing their next faceted murano yellow with a green haze!

Thanks for this, Victoia! I had forgotten how much I liked these when you first provided the sneak peek.

Sorry to say I’m catching the errors too and I wanted to order them right away so I could get delivery while I’m at home for 2 weeks. I guess I’ll have to call and see what can be done.

I’m surprised to hear that that, seemingly, yellow over turquoise CZ isn’t new. Is that the one you’re calling Green Pastures? If so I’d like to add that to my order as well. I don’t believe it’s looked like that on Novo’s regular webpage but then they are very hard to photograph and look so different in different light.

Happy for you guys in Europe that you’ll be able to get them. The CZs are nothing short of wonderful and people who have been buying TB prisms are in for a treat!

Well I’ve woken up STILL to errors which is quite bad form. Rainey they definitely do have the charms so if you want any I believe calling would be by far the best option for you.

I’m pretty sure the CZ you mention is Green Pastures. If you look here – http://www.novobeads.com/product/Green-Pasture-CZ_7119.aspx – you can see the yellow overlay towards the back of the bead.

        Thanks so much, Victoria.

I wrote an e-mail last night and still haven’t heard back. I’ll phone today and see what can be done. It helps that my experiences in the past have been very good and the owner (is it Michael?) has been extremely accommodating of requests. My particular prob is that I would have to get a speedy delivery to get the beads while I’m home in the US otherwise I’d wait until they get their technical stuff got worked through.

I’m seriously not a fan of pavé but this business of a couple accents in CZ (or whatever) is very nice and effective indeed. I also really love their Christmas wreath with a couple colored stones used just as an actual wreath would be decorated.

Anyway, thanks for keeping us so up to date and staying on top of this technical situation.

Just checked again, the products are now available to buy but you have to search for them by name. Clicking on “new” just brings errors and there are no actual images of the products (though I promise faithfully that I took images and names from the product sheet they emailed to me so you’re safe.)

Thanks Victoria. You really are the best! Unfortunately I’m up this morning to continued website errors. I’m just a little worn out from dealing with a charm bead website that doesn’t want my business enough to fix their problems (or reply on their facebook page to my two messages). At least Elfbeads was frantically working to sort it out and responding to customers routinely.

I’m spending money this weekend on Pandora Mother’s Day charm beads. It’s too bad though because I was so excited by Novobeads promotional image.

          Hi Faye,

Yep I appreciate this perspective entirely. For what it’s worth, the Pandora Mother’s Day release is beautiful (as was the spring release) and I’m pretty certain you will cherish your charms. I’d love to hear what you eventually buy 🙂

          /hugs

I will post on your Pandora MD blog what I buy this weekend at Pandora!
On a cheery note, I decided to brighten my workday today by bringing a pipe cleaner full of beads to work, placed in front of my work. I can gaze at the muranos & silvers all day and think about putting a Forest #2 bracelet together tonight or tomorrow.
