My Trollbeads Spring 2018 Bangles Featuring Scout Curated Wears

This charm bracelet blog showcases my own Trollbeads Spring 2018 bangles and includes an introduction to Scout Curated Wears.

Those of you who follow me on social media (Facebook, Instagram and the Great Lakes Boutique Facebook and Instagram pages,) will have probably seen us bid welcome to a new brand at Great Lakes Boutique. It’s a line called Scout Curated Wears who specialise in stone bracelets and wraps with a very strong boho chic vibe.

I love Trollbeads gemstones though my own spring bangles are heavily based around the new Mamma Mia glass. I’ve been wearing a complimentary Scout Moonstone Bracelet and today I’m sharing a little inspiration for those pieces.

Trollbeads Spring 2018 Bangles

Since it’s arrival a few weeks ago, I’ve been obsessed by the limited edition Trollbeads Mamma Mia. I really shouldn’t be. I don’t usually like floral glass. Orange is not a colour I thought would work well on me and yet I love the bead. I’ve been stylling it quite simply as I think it’s focal enough to not need much else. It’s teamed with simple Trollbeads pearls and decorative silvers and spacers.

The Scout Moonstone Bracelet pictured here retails at just $16.

Trollbeads Mamma Mia Ordering

For those of you yet to indulge in Mamma Mia, you can shop directly with Trollbeads USA or via any of my retailers below. This bead does differ so those selling from live images are marked with a*.

For anyone interested in Scout, it’s not on our website though it will be on the new website. Until then we can ship it globally so shoot me a message on social media if interested. Alternatively you can email me at endangeredtrolls(at)

Trollbeads Spring 2018 Bangles Summary

It’s interesting how collecting habits change over the years. Some people are under the impression I don’t actually collect any longer and this couldn’t be further from the truth. I’ve become more discerning over the years and I do tend to focus on certain themes or ideas at a time. I’m still finishing a collection of Trollbeads Agate Dendritics. Rather than change bracelets daily, I tend to have a set of bangles for each wrist that I alter more with the season, or indeed a new release.

With Scout I really like the potential for adding a stackable bracelet that matches my main Trollbeads bangles and the pricing is definitely appealing. They’re also a one size fits all, easy to throw on piece.

As always I love to hear from my readers. What are your thoughts on Scout? What are you wearing at the moment? Did you indulge in the Trollbeads Mamma Mia and if so, how are you styling it? Hit the comments and let me know!

Who makes the star/branch silver orb beads? New website for Great Lakes…. awesome… are these silvers going to be Great Lakes Beads?

    • endangeredtrolls

They were designed by Mike yes but the idea has been abandoned mostly (sadly.)

Victoria, Thank you again the other evening for your assistance in ordering my Scout Lapis Bracelet. GLB said it should hopefully arrive on Wednesday.

    Best regards,

Any time! I can’t wait to hear what you think πŸ˜€

I haven’t purchased Trollbeads in over a year and a half. All of our local stores stopped carrying them and I have a decent collection. I saw the Momma Mia bead on the blog and drove 1 hr in a snow storm to purchase it! The store only had four and I wanted at least two. It’s gorgeous! I styled it with some of my Pandora beads.

I’m sorry to hear about your local stores, I know how important it is to be able to choose your beads. All I can suggest is that you take a look at some of the online retailers as there are some working really really hard to provide the absolute best online shopping experience possible. It’s not the same as choosing beads in person but we do try πŸ™‚

Mamma Mia is beautiful. It didn’t excite me in the stock images and yet in person it’s one of the nicest glass I’ve seen in a long time. I never thought I’d be wearing two bangles with it πŸ™‚

Love the stacking bracelet! It looks lovely, but not too delicate. And it comes with a reasonable price tag, which makes it extra interesting.
