Low Stock Alert on Retired Ohm Beads Bracelets

This Ohm Beads blog alerts readers to a fast dwindling stock on the now retired Ohm Beads bracelets at Great Lakes Boutique.

As part of the huge Ohm Beads retirement last year, their old style of snap clasp and dirty snap clasp bracelet left production.

It’s now been replaced with the new Ohm Beads Chunky Bracelet system. Though I don’t have the bracelet yet, I have been loving the new Whip Bracelet and locks and they’ll be featuring here in the not too distant future.

The one small issue with the new bracelet being that not all old charms fit, though as far as I’m aware, it’s really old inventory. Nevertheless for those who prefer the old style bracelet, it’s worth noting that we’re now running low on stock of both the silver and dirty versions at Great Lakes Boutique. They are of course part of the buy five get one free promotion and you can browse the bracelets at the link below:-

I actually love the look of the new Ohm Beads Chunky Bracelet and really like the interchangeable locks but the dirty bracelet is an old favourite too. I’ve predominantly worn Ohm’s dirty finish carriers without beads just to add some contrast to bracelet stacks.

We have exhausted stock on numerous retired beads now and to make it clear, our inventory counts are turned on for Ohm so once a retired product is out of stock, that’s it. If it’s showing in stock, it’s available to ship immediately. If you do want to stock up on the snap clasp bracelets however, please do so sooner rather than later.

Happy shopping!

Retiring the Snap is a good move. The style is just so ubiquitous and unoriginal. I am eager to see what you do with the Chunky and read the opinions of other folks. I bought one as soon as it was available. To me, beads don’t seem to look right on it. I like it better plain, unless you can inspire me otherwise (wink wink). Also the bracelet falls off unless I really squeeze the hook closed, which can’t be good for durability. (I have the Who lock, if that matters.) That said, I still love the look and wear it fairly often.

I’ve actually had a problem with my new bracelet. I can’t figure out how to get the dragon clasp on the bracelet without breaking the dragon. It looks lovely, but I can’t get it to work.

      Hi Katie,

Thanks for your comment. Please reach out to me either on FB or kit@ohmbeads.com. I can show you how. It’s quite simple once you know the trick.

I prefer the look of the older snap bracelets. As much as I like the new locks I think Ohm should have made them bigger to be more in proportion with the size of the bracelet. Also I don’t like beads swinging round the bracelets; I like to keep them in place with the clips. I wonder if Ohm will be releasing new clips to go with the larger bracelet.

I hope they do make new clips and stoppers!
