Limited Edition Trollbeads Lilac Diamond Bead Preview

This Trollbeads blog brings a preview of the new limited edition Trollbeads Lilac Diamond Bead, exclusive to the Italian market.

Last week saw a new country exclusive bead debut for the Italian market. The Trollbeads Lilac Diamond Bead is an in store exclusive for their market and is an absolutely beautiful shade. As with all of the diamond beads, it’s retailing at €65. To clarify this is not the same as the Trollbeads Purple Diamond that was available in Japan last year. The shades are different.

I’d describe the new Lilac Diamond as a grape shade and of course it has the cubic zirconia inclusions of all of the diamond beads.

For those who can’t quite remember the Purple Diamond, here’s the stock image and it’s a paler shade.

Trollbeads Lilac Diamond Bead

This isn’t the only country exclusive suddenly in circulation and the preview of that bead will follow momentarily. It’s interesting that after quite a break from this type of release, we suddenly have a small flurry of designs. Over the last few months has been the Purple Diamond Bead for Japan, the Trollbeads Prague bead, the Lilac Diamond for Italy and the upcoming Trollbeads Musicians of Bremen (preview to follow.)

I have to confess I love this shade and it looks similar to the True Beadz Purple Dream to me. Incidentally we have a few of those beads in stock right now at Great Lakes Boutique, though not many but if you’re liking this shade, it’s worth taking a look.

As always I love to hear from my readers. What are your thoughts on the new Trollbeads Lilac Diamond Bead? How do you feel the shade compares to the Purple Diamond? Hit the comments and let me know!

    Hi Victoria
This is torture! Firstly Japan gets a purple diamond bead and now to rub salt in the wound Italy gets a lilac one…ugh!
Do you know of any Italian stockists that would ship internationally? It’s going to kill me if I can’t get at least one of these babies 😩

    • endangeredtrolls

The only Italian retailer I work with sadly don’t carry Trollbeads and I know the Trollbeads concept store in Rome who are usually so helpful are currently closed πŸ™

      I’d suggest hitting Google πŸ™‚

  2. Lola

I have a million and twelve cousins in Italy, so this bead is within my easy (and likely free) reach, but I’ll want live pictures first to see the actual color.

    • Tracey

Oh Lola how lucky are you😊! I live in Australia and we are so far away from everything

    • endangeredtrolls

There’s quite a lot circulating social media but obviously I can’t use or refer to those due to copyright πŸ™‚ They’re out there though πŸ˜€

      • Lola

I’ll search!!!! But I more want my cousins to send me pictures and tell me what it actually looks like.

Tracey — Global connections are awesome. I have lots of family in Sweden too. πŸ™‚ And I work with artists globally. It’s just fab.

  3. Katie

Actually, this is making me rather angry. I have always wanted a purple diamond bead. And, when they finally make them, they are exclusive to countries that I will not be able to visit. Really, it is quite irritating.

    • endangeredtrolls

The Japanese bead was available online. One of the concept stores did an amazing job of helping people I believe until they ran out of stock. I assume this will be the same though the only one of the concept stores I’ve ever had any dealings with in Italy are currently closed. Still global shipping is permitted so you should be able to order from somewhere πŸ™‚

      • Katie

Spent the morning online trying to find an Italian dealer with this that ships to the US. Still haven’t found one. Why did it have to be purple that is impossible to get? Any other color and I’d have already given up.

        • endangeredtrolls

Did you use the official store finder?

          • Katie

Yes. That is what I’ve been using. So far, either they don’t have a website or when they do, they don’t ship. I’ll keep trying later. But, still frustrating that they can’t offer purple worldwide.

      • Ernesto

Could you give me more information about the store in Japan? I need that bead! :,(

  4. Roberta

So happy to be Italian πŸ’œπŸ˜„ it’s a lovely bead! Do you know when it will be available in Italian stores? On Friday 16th?

    • endangeredtrolls

I’ve already seen pictures of this on social media – live images from collectors – so I’d suggest contacting your local retailer as soon as possible πŸ˜€ If it hasn’t been released yet then it must be VERY imminent for collectors to be wearing it already πŸ™‚

  5. kathrynwitte

I’m calling. Haven’t gotten an answer yet!

    • endangeredtrolls

Do remember the time difference πŸ™‚ Stores will be closed by now πŸ™‚

  6. Alison

I just received 4 and they are gorgeous! Much better in person ! Stunning with gold !

    • Tracey

Hi Alison can I ask where you got them from, was it online?

      • Alison

        Hi Tracey
It was a shop on EBay Italy….keep an eye out ! Some will have more by the end of the week ! Be fast, they seem to go quick !

        • Tracey
