Henhousebeads January 2019 Teaser & Velvet Brittany Preview

This charm bracelet blog brings a teaser for the upcoming Henhousebeads January 2019 bead and also shares a preview of the new Velvet Brittany.

Next Tuesday January the 15th sees the launch of the next Henhousebeads design. It’s a single bead created for the mid-winter season and is both really beautiful and incredibly eye catching. I’ll be sharing the preview later this week but today comes the teaser for the release. Alongside that the Velvet version of Brittany has finally launched online and there’s a restock of some beads that will team so perfectly with the new addition.

As mentioned it’s a single bead release next week and they’ll go live on the website as the clock strikes midnight on Monday night / Tuesday morning. Where as much of the Henhousebeads core collection has focused on simple beads in amazing colours, this is much more complex and Cindy has created her own vision of winter. It will retail at $35.

While we’re not showing the bead just yet, I will say it’s going to be the perfect complement to the existing Brittany. Brittany has been one of the most popular designs in the collection so far. It’s a beautiful blue shade but with grey undertones, making it feel very wintery or stormy. The most recent batch have had a slight metallic sheen to them too. A short time ago we listed new stock of Brittany on the website. There’s not a huge number though so do be fast if you want it.

We’ve also received our first stock of the Velvet Brittany. The Velvet line launched back in December and is a matte finish version of the collection beads. You can see a comparison between the Velvet and standard version below.

Finally there’s also been a restock of the winter collection with it’s two beads; Air Element and Glacier. Air Element introduced what I guess would best be described as a frosted or sanded glass finish. Again it’s mostly matte but the vibe is totally different to that of the Velvet. Glacier meanwhile is somewhat pearlescent and super pretty!
